They have to see the original saga of 3 movies with Mel Gibson, also directed by George Miller, taking advantage of the Furiosa trailer move, people will be looking to see Mad Max stuff, and they will surely get good views if they react to the original trilogy.
Hi guys. I remembered how blown away and surprised you guys were after seeing Die Hard, that it wasn't just an awesome classic action movie but, also a great Christmas movie. Well, guess what. I have another great classic Christmas action movie for you guys. It came out 1996. Geena Davis and Samuel L. Jackson. The Long Kiss Goodnight. I guarantee that both of you will love this movie. Hey, Christmas is around the corner, so I thought this would make for a great review for you guys. Enjoy
I like George Miller. I like Anya. But I'm going to remain skeptical. The positives are that George and Nick wrote it, and it doesn't have 25 producers sticking their dirty fingers in the movie.
Hemsworth is a villain in Bad Times at the El Royale. It came out in 2018. He’s a standout in that movie. He looks like he fits right into the world of Mad Max. So hyped! WITNESS ME!
PLEASE REACT TO THE IMPOSSIBLE (2012) starring Ewan McGregor, Naomi Watts, and Tom Holland!!! It's an incredible film based on a true story about the 2004 Thailand tsunami. There's so much about it that you would appreciate SO MUCH as film makers!I I love your reactions so much!
Okay I'm sure it's been mentioned already but I'll say it again. Before this movie comes out you should really watch the three movies George Miller did prior to Fury Road. In order: Mad Max Mad Max 2:, The Road Warrior Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome.

Guys, I went to see the film last night, and I'm still processing the sheer insanity of what I witnessed. Like "FURY ROAD", "FURIOSA" is just absolutely relentless, brutal, violent, awesome, emotional and everything in-between. George Miller is a madman... It's all I can say. Can't wait to see you reacting to it.
I'm only worried that they departed from a lot of the practical effects for more cgi. There is probably budgetary reasoning behind this, and honestly I've loved every Mad Max film ever so I don't think it will irk me too much. For some reason on that first shot of Hemsworth, he gave me a "Tom Hardy in Peaky Blinders" vibe.
george miller is about to be 80 and we already know how difficult the Fury Road production was. theyre probably saving their energy for the laborial practical effects theyre gonna have in Mad Max: The Wasteland which got greenlit around the same time as this one
@ivanzamarripa9393 I mean no offense, but Martin Scorsese is 81... I'm sure that Wasteland will be CGI af, too. I guess that's just the world we live in now.
If the CGI is keyed properly and correctly with what's going on in-frame as well as proper post-production techniques to make the CGI appear more realistic (sometimes to mask some of the overdone CGI) then it shouldn't look overly fake or computerized. As long as a director truly knows the vision they want or have for a project then they tend to make sure that it turns out the best it possibly can. :)
In fury Road, furiosa mentions that its been 7,000 days since she was taken. And that her mother died on the 3rd. nearly 20years of storyline potential!!
I'll be honest.. and im gonna catch flak for this. I trust ATJ (to a lesser extent Hemsworth), and I have little to no doubt that the acting will be on point. But.. certain segments of that trailer looked really dodgy as far as CGI goes - one of the things that Fury Road did really well was mesh it's digital elements with film footage - this looks borderline greenscreen at times.. like '300' levels of greenscreen. Granted, they have some time to tighten things up, but theres only so much you can do in post if a lot of the movie hinges on digital effects. So.. while I'll be there day 1.. I'm not walking into this thinking it'll surpass or rival 'Fury Road' .. unfortunately. I get why they've done it this way, seeing as the OG shoot for 'Fury..' was rather hellish by all accounts - but this was waaaay more CGI driven than what I was expecting.
Like you mentioned, hopefully they've got a lot of time to tighten things up and polish some of the more wonky CGI. This is our first look but we'll have a better idea of what the final product will look like when they release the full trailers closer to release!

So I'm really hoping you guys see this comment, as I'm a huge fan of your channel/reacts... you inquired if Chris Hemsworth has ever been in a villain role before, and I'm delighted to inform you that HE HAS. He was in Bad Times At The El Royale Hotel, and that was honestly one of the best movies I've seen in the last 6-7? Years.... you should absolutely check out/review that movie, it will blow your mind. Criminally underrated I would even dare say. It also has Jon Hamm and Jeff Bridges, yo!

But 45 years after the collapse would mean Max is in his early 70's. Hmmm. I realise he is not a character in this movie, im just trying to make sense of this timeline.
I believe the original film, Road Warrior, actually took place some time after the collapse. I think the collapse refers to the societal and governmental breakdown rather than the nuclear war that came later. I think, but I can easily be wrong.
I don't think they did the math correctly. Max was captured 33 years (12045 days) after the fall. They literally tattooed it on his back. Furiosa was captured 45 years after the collapse as a child, so she was kidnapped 12 years after the events of Fury Road? Were they asleep at the wheel when they wrote that number for the trailer? Anyway, it's an easy fix: "Furiosa was kidnapped 18 years after the collapse". Her story spans over 15 years leading up directly to Fury Road. 18+15 = 33 years after the collapse she meets Max. Hello Media Knights, Ironically, this comes out the same day as "Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes." I don't know about you, but I smell a meme here as both films are set in post-apocalyptic worlds. Both films have heroes that go on journeys that will change their lives forever. Both are the latest entries in long running franchises that somehow managed against all odds to successfully reinvent themselves. Would you be willing to see both films on opening weekend? How could we make a meme out of these two movies battling it out for supremacy?
OMG FIRST YESS I’M A HUGE FAN BY THE WAY HI ARI AND DENISE I love your movie reactions so much I’m so hyped for the movie for next year and the the designs and the animations plus the actors they did a fantastic job by the way not going to lie and I feel so bad for the people that are going through difficult situations and that caught my attention it reminds of mission impossible movies like Tom Cruise he is a good actor, and I can’t not wait to watch it in theaters it’s super cool.
I kind of skipped Fury Road when it released...it was shortly before I came around to actually liking Mad Max in general. However, I quickly fell in love with the video game that hit shelves in 2015 which ended up being the main factor in peeking my interest. Mad Max 1 is a great classic, however, still the only film in this franchise I've seen to date. Furiosa looks wicked though! I'm really excited for this!
We're so excited for this one!! We actually only watched Fury Road and have yet to react to the originals so we gotta get on that haha. Cannot wait for this one to come out!
I know u guys have done a reaction to fury road question is how about do the og Mel Gibson trilogy reaction mad max 1979 the road warrior 1981 The thunderdome was 1985
About time Furiosa got her own movie, she was easily the best part of Fury Road. Now all I need is for the bear from Annihilation to get its own movie.
Lol. She was bland and depthless, and Theron’s acting was utterly, inarguably FLAT. Tom Hardy, easily one of the greatest actors of this generation, carried the film. Putting Theron in the role opposite him was the worst thing they could have done. Furiosa SHOULD have been interesting. But Miller cast eye candy in the role rather than a talented actress, and replaced character development with a car chase. This trailer looks BAD.
Hmmm. Almost 100m more budget than Fury Road, then they spent it all on Hemsworth and Joy, and the remainder on bad CGI.... Not super optimistic. Theron was a MUCH better casting, I don't get the hype for this Joy chick, she looks like she might weigh 100lbs if you weighed her down with a dumbell or two whereas in Fury Road I really felt like she was a B/A who could hold her own. Hope I'm proven wrong, but even then.... They LITERALLY said no more Mad Max films after how amazing Fury Road was because they didn't wanna cash cow it, plus it was an absolute cinematic masterpiece, and now they're not only bringing back the franchise (love Furiosa's character, don't get me wrong), they're bringing it back as a CGI mess rather than committing and getting real, practical effects. Do a side by side of the CGI from this, and from the new Godzilla which was made for one tenth the budget of this film... So sad. If they were gonna do CGI, at least make it convincing or learn how to plan your shots in ways that hide away poorer aspects of the CGI/blend with practicals! Possibly this is just very early footage, maybe they'll even delay to give it the polish it needs for the release. Fingers crossed, love the franchise and character, don't wanna see it go to the dogs! Excuse my mini rant! Back to scoping out yall's reactions, dig the channel
My verdict: WOW! If this is what the trailer looks like, the movie itself is gonna be lovely, to say the least! George Miller & "Mad Max" go together like The Green Place and water! Anya Taylor-Joy is amazing, but Chris Hemsworth steals the show! In case you wanna see more of his acting chops, you should react to 2012'sc"The Cabin In the Woods", 2018's "Bad Times at the El Royale" where he plays a villain & "Rush," the 2013, fact-based Grand Prix movie directed by Ron Howard. Re your "Gladiator" reaction, more Russell Crowe recommendations: "L.A Confidential ,""Master & Commander: the Far Side of the World," "The Man With the Iron Fists," "3:10 to Yuma" and "American Gangster," the 2007 movie directed by Ridley Scott and co-starring Denzel Washington.
I feel like "Do you have it in you to make it epic?" is from the audience addressed to George Miller concerning whether he can make it as legendary as Fury Road lol
To be frank, the trailer is very underwhelming. The problem is that there is no point of intrigue. What is the threat? What is the goal. It’s good for a trailer to be vague about the journey, but without a specific hook - a specific struggle - there’s nothing there but flashy images. Millennials and Zoomers are so deprived of good, original stories that they can watch a trailer and not even notice the trailer had no hook…just a lot of new imagery. This trailer literally has nothing in it that even remotely resembles, or gives the impression of, a story. People are separating into 2 camps: 1) “It looks great!” 2) There’s a lot of CGI and it doesn’t look finished. Both are reactions to IMAGES being flashed on the screen, not a reaction to STORY…because the trailer has no hook or specific conflict. The second group is sensing the deeper problem, but has been raised on hollow sequels so they only vaguely perceive the problem through visuals: the movie looks loaded with CGI…which is the exact opposite of all previous Mad Max movies. The CGI in Fury Road was deliberately made to look authentic. By contrast, most of this trailer looks like a cartoon. Tom Hardy is one of the best actors of his generation…and Millar abandoned Mad Max to make a movie about a very uninteresting character. Furiosa was the LEAST interesting thing about Fury Road because the story told us nothing specific about her life, thoughts, and feelings. Theron just isn’t that deep of an actor. Now we’ve got a trailer that showcases ZERO hook, zero story, and a metric ton of computer graphics…and middling actors. (Sorry, but Chris Hemsworth isn’t even in the league BEHIND Tom Hardy. They might as well have put Jason Statham in this. When I saw Fury Road, I thought it was fun…but lacked depth of emotion. Millar tried to put that emotion in plot, but emotion is always in the personal struggle. We don’t KNOW Furiosa, so when she kneels and screams into the desert, we UNDERSTAND that she’s upset…but we don’t feel it because Millar spent all his time filming cars. Fury Road was a movie that IMPLIED depth…but showed NONE. I was willing to forgive that on the grounds of it being a two hour car chase…but the sequel (prequel) trailer just doubled down on zero depth. There’s literally no specific description of character feelings, goals, or conflict…and yet people are excited. Why? For imagery? BAD imagery? A CG-fest in a franchise built on gritty realism? This looks BAD.
The obvious CGI abuse on this one might be a bummer for me, man. The history may be interesting, but the little use of CGI on "Fury Road" was what made it awesome, impressive and unique on this genre. In this one...c'mon, all the world, landscapes, action and vehicles look like they were taken from a videogame and just copy/paste to the movie screen, dude. I don't know, i'm not digging it so much like the epic "Fury Road" from 2015 yet.
I seriously doubt that they can even get close to the epic level of "Fury Road" with all the practical effects and stunts using a CGI flooded movie that is looking so damn fake, man. In fact, i think that "Fury Road" is on a different scale on this kind of apocalyptic action movies.
@@OfficialMediaKnights Your Welcome! You should check those movies out!! What impresses me the most is chris hemsworth is challenge himself to play diffirent roles which makes him a better actor.
Sorry, but not sorry. It's a CRIME what MAD MAX was turned into. Mad Max SAGA? I am not saying the movie with Charlize was bad. It's good. BUT it's not MAD MAX. It's, if anything, based on MAD MAX. They should just call it Furiosa. This ISN'T mad max. Watch the real trilogy, if you want to watch Mad Max.
Mad Max had always been about practical effects, this one looks to be mostly CGI. I hope I’m wrong about this, but it’s a definite downgrade if I’m not. Too much cgi makes the world look fake. At what point does a live action movie or series actually become an animated feature?
I would have liked to see Chris Hemsworth in a hero role in that saga, helping Furiosa, and put another actor as the villain, because his image gives more vibes to Mad Max, Chris could easily replace Tom Hardy, if he leaves the saga at some point and could be the new Mad Max.
Oh! Come on guys! Let's be honest, the trailer is disappointing!!!!! First and foremost, the aesthetic is horrible! Soooo fake!! 👎 All CGI and it shows a lot. If the masterpiece of "Fury Road" stood out for something, it was because of the wonderful practical effects that evidently don't exist in this trailer. Second, everything is fine with this actress but "Furiosa" is Charlize Theron. This girl is not even close to her in terms of character strength. I hope it's not a failure because "Fury Road" is perfection, and this looks like a low-budget movie or a video game. A shame for "Mad Max" fans. And from what I saw in the comments of the trailer, in the different languages, everyone is complaining about the obvious excessive CGI they used and that makes it horrible! 🤷🏻♀️😔
I love watching your movie reactions! It's like I'm seeing them again myself for the first time all over again! Seeing you enjoy these great films is awesome. They are considered absolute classics for a reason! If you haven't seen them 3 films that have to be on your list are Blade Runner by Ridley Scott,Conan The Barbarian by John Milius and Raiders of the Lost Ark by Steven Spielberg. Can't say enough about these. Blade Runner has the most incredible production design in any movie ever made. The cinematography, practical effects and score still put the modern CGI laden Sci fi movies to shame and all shot in beautiful anamorphic ratio. Conan The Barbarian is Arnold in his prime. No holds barred and unapologetic with a fantastic legendary score by Basil Poledouris. And finally,Raiders of the Lost Ark is....well...Raiders of the Lost Ark! Cheers! Note:If you watch Blade Runner make it the Ridley Scott version.I prefer his cut over the original theatrical version. The original had this annoying voice over monotone monolgue by Harrison Ford. There's a story behind this that involves annoying studio interference and both Ridley Scott and Harrison Ford did not want that voice over.
This looks like a CGI nightmare. It’s not like the plot/dialogue is what makes these movies great. The practical effects are what makes these movies great and it looks like they went away from that :/ Hope I’m wrong
George Miller stated that making fury road was a logistical nightmare because of the use of practical effects. It was so bad that they almost scrapped the whole movie. I believe that’s why they need to rely more on CGI than before. I hope they dial it in so it’s seamless like in Fury road.
It shouldn't be called Mad Max if there is no Mad Max in the movie so I would take out Mad Max and just call it something else. Quite frankly the only reason why this movie is happening is because someone wanted a woman's story in the Mad Max universe blame Gen Z for that this is gonna be a crap
Did you make sure to stretch before that reach? Having a character who happens to be a woman makes something feminist now? It can't just be the telling of a potentially interesting story?

How could we make a meme out of these two movies battling it out for supremacy?
You guys talk about Fury Road, did you see the original ones or?
OMG FIRST YESS I’M A HUGE FAN BY THE WAY HI ARI AND DENISE I love your movie reactions so much I’m so hyped for the movie for next year and the the designs and the animations plus the actors they did a fantastic job by the way not going to lie and I feel so bad for the people that are going through difficult situations and that caught my attention it reminds of mission impossible movies like Tom Cruise he is a good actor, and I can’t not wait to watch it in theaters it’s super cool.
Thank you sooo much for your support, we are so appreciative of you!! This movie looks absolutely amazing and we are so pumped to react to this!!
@@OfficialMediaKnights OMG TYSM AWW YOUR TOO KIND YOU ALWAYS MAKE MY DAY HAPPY 💜💖🥹
I love how they used footage from Fury Road in the trailer. I recognize it anywhere!
In my Argentinian household, Anya Taylor-Joy is an icon. She spent a big part of her life in Argentina and even speaks it. Love her eternally!
She’s fantastic! As a Spanish speaker myself It’s always awesome seeing her Spanish interviews.
Saw a little glimpse of Immortan Joe, I’m curious what actor is playing the character.
It’s Chris Hemsworth. I hope he’s as intimidating as Hugh Keays-Byrne
@@crouchingotter that’s interesting I heard he was playing a villain but will see how this holds up.
I know u guys have done a reaction to fury road question is how about do the og Mel Gibson trilogy reaction mad max 1979 the road warrior 1981 The thunderdome was 1985
Looks Interesting......
Have Y'all seen the Mad Max Movies/Trilogy with Mel Gibson??.......
We haven't seen the originals yet, just Fury Road! The originals are definitely on our list though, so we'll get to those pretty soon!
@@winstonsol8713 She was the only one in the movie with any depth at all. Max was practically an extra. Even the Doof Warrior had more depth.
How about a buddy cop movie starring the bear and crocodile from Annihilation
@@user-zp4ge3yp2o Yeah. I'd watch that.
Oh God, Mad Maxine!
Fury road was good,,,,but its nothing compared to the Road Warrior ☺️
He's the main villain in Spiderhead
Yo!!!!!!! More mad max?! 💯 on board lets go!!
RIGHT?! We are so pumped!! Can't wait to do it for the channel!!
Are you guys going to do a reaction to the House of the Dragon teaser?
I feel like "Do you have it in you to make it epic?" is from the audience addressed to George Miller concerning whether he can make it as legendary as Fury Road lol
He freakin’ killed it with Fury Road! If we can get another film like that or even better we’re gonna be beyond happy!
You need to review the original Mad Max.
Yeah, I've just added a "furious" comment hahahaha. This fury thing and furiosa are just based on the Mad Max trilogy. Mel Gibson is the real Mad Max.
People are separating into 2 camps: 1) “It looks great!”
2) There’s a lot of CGI and it doesn’t look finished.
Imma see this
will u guys be reacting to the strangers sequel??🥺🥺 i would love to see it
Yup! It’s on our list but we’re on an old school binge at the moment. We’ll definitely get to it soon though! 😃
@@OfficialMediaKnights THANK UUUU🫶🫶🫶 im so excited
I'm tired of seeing this actress everywhere. She plays a similar character in everything. Looking forward to Hemsworth, which I never thought I'd say.
……been waiting for this…….and thats all im gonna say about it.
Never saw Fury Road but this makes me want to. Also I'm sitting down to watch anything Anya Taylor-Joy is in.
Top 3 action movie of all time
The obvious CGI abuse on this one might be a bummer for me, man.
If they actually manage to make this as epic as Fury Road, then it could make up for the great theater experience I've missed with the previous one.
Facts!!! We're so torn because we reaally wanna see it in theatres but also react to it for the channel 😭😭😭
I seriously doubt that they can even get close to the epic level of "Fury Road" with all the practical effects and stunts using a CGI flooded movie that is looking so damn fake, man. In fact, i think that "Fury Road" is on a different scale on this kind of apocalyptic action movies.
Yes Chris Hemsworth did play the villain before he did play a mad scientist in netflix film spiderhead and a cult leader in bad time at the el royal
Thank you for the response! We’ll definitely check those out!
@@OfficialMediaKnights Your Welcome! You should check those movies out!!
What impresses me the most is chris hemsworth is challenge himself to play diffirent roles which makes him a better actor.
Loooove that!! It's so amazing to see how versatile he's become over the years and we have no doubt he's gonna kill it in this movie as well!
The death of another Male lead franchise.
Huh? This isnt “mad maxine” this is a story about a female character in the mad max saga?
Ok farmer Dave
Bravo.
Gonna be so epic
I don't know why people are going crazy for this Fury Road was not good at all I don't even remember what furiosa did in that movie
You have terrible taste in film.
A Mad Max movie with No Mad Max? And Also no Charlize Theron? I'll watch it for Anya she's a great actress but I'm very disappointed.
Mad Max had always been about practical effects, this one looks to be mostly CGI. I hope I’m wrong about this, but it’s a definite downgrade if I’m not. Too much cgi makes the world look fake. At what point does a live action movie or series actually become an animated feature?
Gobs and gobs of bad CGI :(
Man this looks so sick, and to have Chris Hemsworth as a villain or this is going to be epic. I can't wait!
I would have liked to see Chris Hemsworth in a hero role in that saga, helping Furiosa, and put another actor as the villain, because his image gives more vibes to Mad Max, Chris could easily replace Tom Hardy, if he leaves the saga at some point and could be the new Mad Max.
That movie is going to flop for sure
I love Ana Joy
I almost thought for a moment Chris was gonna be cast as a young Immortan Joe. Then I saw him in front of the actual Immortan Joe.
They made the sequel nobody wanted
a women film now
Looks too fake. I loved Fury Road, and I'm afraid this will look too cheesy
Stop lying. There's a shit ton of CGI in fury road plus top gun maverick
Weak trailer and too much CGI
and the next franchise thats going to be destroyed. Was that trailer made by an ai? Dmn it looks so bad.
Just what we need...a WOKE, FEMINIST, mad max series...great job hollyWOKE.
Did you make sure to stretch before that reach? Having a character who happens to be a woman makes something feminist now? It can't just be the telling of a potentially interesting story?
You should spend less time on the internet.
