Great moment at the end with the Ghoul watching who he used to be, his past self basically telling him you're ugly, strong and have no dignity. And I found myself really invested in Norm's story. He didn't get a title card but he does feel like a fourth main character.
This episode is when the mystery really kicks off. Sure a lot of us wondered where Lucy's dad was taken. Or why moldaver knew Lucy's mom and dad. But seeing norm find out stuff about the vaults suddenly you realize there is a lot more going on. And the heart of all the recent fallout games there their is a mystery to solve. I'm so glad the show leaned so hard into that. It's very intriguing.
Roger was a great intro to ghouls. Ghouls are not bad people just because they appear as zombies. It's just what happens to the human body after too much radiation exposure. But they can be very nice people... up until the radiation eats away at the logic portions of their brain and they turn feral. Fallout games do a great job of introducing ghouls as a group of minorities that people hate because they are different. The games often have you choosing sides between smoothies or ghouls often with the sides being portrayed as bigoted verse inclusive. Legit fallout 3 a ghoul sends you on a mission to kill the smoothies he calls bigots.
Back when Lucy shot Cooper with her tranquilizer gun, he referred to it as a small drop in a big bucket of drugs, implying heavy drug use beyond what he uses to keep from going Feral. The ending was probably like Christmas for him.
I don't know if you've watched the entirety of the series yet and are just editing it or if you're still watching it but the line, "Oh I'm you sweetie, you just give it a little time." is something to keep in mind as we learn more about Cooper, Lucy, their families, and the actions those families take.
The fallout game world is full of stories like the two random schmucks in the super duper mart. They were likely some raiders that happened upon a good base that was protected by the robot. One of them probably past a speech check and talked the robot into a new job. And thus they made out like kings until lucy showed up.
They are really going against tropes in the show...he wont eat people - he eats people. He wont cut off her finger - he cuts of her finger. He won't sell her into God only know what - he sells her 😀
"What the fcuk am i doing all the work?" Good question, that's why i installed Companion Unlimited Ammo & Unbreakable Power Armour mod and Sentinel Unlimited Armour mod. I used to have Sim Settlement mod but I prefer to have some personal touch...
Please don’t take this as me being pushy or demanding: Just wondering if “The Boys” will have a scheduled release day? Just got into the show myself & it’s fun watching you guys react 😊
As a "video game adaptation" I would even say Fallout surpassed The Last of Us. Last of Us might still be a "better show" depending on what you like but Fallout is as the most video game adaptation to still be great IMO. There's so many "gamey" things the show does so well
This is probably harsh, but for a Halo fan, watching that TV show is like dealing with someone after they've suffered a persoanlity-altering brain injury. They LOOK like you'd expect, but under the surface everything is completely different. It's not a bad show, but you could have made the same show without the Halo license, it has none of the core themes that made people love the games. Fallout, on the other hand, manages to capture both the spirit and the look of the games, and even improve on them in some ways.

What you mean rotoscoping her finger? It's just Ella Purnell's finger painted grey.😂
I think Cooper is starting to think he's the one who's fuerte, feo, y formal.
Rotoscope the finger for the rest of the series? I think they'll simply paint it once it's reattached.
This show is incredible, really great.
Making Lucy cut the jerky was maybe a little further than I wanted it to go. I want her enthusiasm to survive.
Matt Berry sounds just like Codsworth from the game.

I like how he couldn’t take the box of vials he could only loot like the games

Season 2 of Westworld was the best season. It’s hard to find now because Max took it off the streamer
Lol season 1 was a masterpiece.. then it started going off the rails
Bro they just painted the finger...
Loving your reactions!!
When is the next reaction coming out? Or for The Boys? Love y’all’s content, just not sure when to expect it 😊
Hallo?! What happened with the reactions to the rest of the show? I see you’re reacting to other stuff, but don’t let us Fallout fans down, please
😂😂❤❤Love the reactions
Thank God the fallout series was more like the last of us, Halo was a disaster
