n downtown Yangon, “street food” takes on a whole other meaning, as makeshift restaurants spill from sidewalks onto the roads. With more than 135 ethnic groups and borders shared with Bangladesh, China, India, Laos, and Thailand, it’s safe to say that the cuisine of Myanmar is diverse and eclectic.
It’s also safe to call it a delicious mash-up of the spicy rich curries of India, the garlicky sweet sauces of China, and the bright herb-filled salads and soups of Thailand. There’s nothing quite like it, and Yangon is a city built for snacking. Burmese peoples love tourists and they cant help but smile because with their lifestyle meeting another nationality is rare. they been oppressed by military to hardship lifestyles.

That street market is so nice. And you’re right! We must be cautious in what we eat and in what we drink esp those unfiltered ice. You always kept mentioning it in all your vlogs . And Myanmar people are so kind. Even the fruit juice vendor wants to give the mixture of banana and passion fruit for free. 👍🏻 be careful esp it’s raining there in Yangon

@@Nigaisntjoke that's what media shows in reality everywhere in yangon you will find mosque and church it's not like we are killing each other the thing happening in arakan is complicated it's not about religion and myer looks like muslim no one got problem with that
So Shan is one of the ethnicities in myanmar and their dishes are so good tbh. But next time try, mohinga (fish paste noodle), ohn noh khout swal(coconut noodles), tofu nhway with stick rice noodles (that’s made with chickpeas flour), tofu kyaw (fried), Rakhine mont ti (spicy rice noodle with fish soup). Try some burmese tea too (they will ask u for choices but just say “kya seint” so that it wont be too sweet

You said 'nin kaik lah' to the sugarcane street vendor which means 'do you bite?' and the guy responded 'kai tal' which means 'I bite' hahaha made me laugh!! You have such good energy. Keep it up!
"Nin kaik lah" doesn't mean "do you bite" it means "how are you?" And the man responded its doesn't mean "I bite" it means "I am good!"

3:58 we call ‘Ah Chin Baung’ is a kind of fruit salad. Mixed fruit with fish sauce and chilies powder. 22:50 is called ‘Shwe Kyi’ baked a mixture of semolina, sugar, milk, egg, wheat flour and topping with cashews and sesame seeds. Actually the drink is Dragon fruit and Banana. The pink fruit is Dragon fruit.

Myanmar and Sri Lanka have Buddhist-majority populations. In both countries, there have been instances of extremism and war crimes against minority communities, including Muslims and Hindus, leading to significant suffering.
You are horribly mistaken bro. I don't know about Myanmar but In srilanka mostly it is power greedy politicians who spread extremism among communities not ordinary citizens.
Yea I don’t like to blame a whole faith for a few bad people who cause problems for other. Usually it’s politicians or corrupt leaders using religion as their means of control. It’s not religions fault it the fault of bad characters.
