I like traveling to places that are usually not first on most people’s itinerary and showing everyone that these places are worth the journey. I want to experience all the countries I visit as a member of the society but at the same time learn about the culture, food and beautiful people. In U.S, we also have Taurus for bulls, Aries for Rams, Leo for Lions etc. Also, when you are pouring water on your birth sign, that's when you may wish whatever your wishes to come true.

    You should explore Mandalay too.
Many interesting places to vist in MDY. Palace, Ancient city, water falls,
Ancient Pagodas, Stunning view from Mandalay Hill top Pagoda, Ancient wooden bridge across the lake with varieties of street foods and beer or fermented palm nectar.
Once you get MDY, you will see Mandalay state and Sagine State is separated by a river called Ayarwaddy. Habitat of endangered species of Dolphins called Ayarwaddy Dolphin.
I think Mandalay has much more interesting places than other states of Myanmar.
If you need help in MDY, you are welcome.

Although the first stuppa of the shwedagon pagoda was built over 2600 years ago, it was a small stuppa at that time. Various kings in different dynasties in Myanmar donated and enlarged the shwedagon pagoda. Notably, mon queen Shin Saw Bu was the one to enlarge the square of shwedagon pagoda and cover the pagoda with gold equal to her weight around 15 century CE and overlap the old 18m stuppa with 40m stuppa. The Current big stuppa (99m) is build to overlap the 40m stuppa which was damaged by the earthquake at 18th century CE by king Hsinbyushin ( the king who razed Ayutthaya ). Some of the surrounding temples and stuppas are built relatively close to modern time and maintained. I hope that answered your question relating the stairs looking pristine and well maintained, I wish you have great travels in the future. Thanks for the video.

Your videos are really good and interesting. I miss sitting there in the evenings and watch the giant stupa in peace and awe. BTW, that guide is hilarious.

mine is on wednesday but there are two parts for wednesday, if u are born before 12 noon on wednesday, then urs is wednesday but if u are born lafter 12 noon, its called YarHu, still the same elephant figure animal but the naming word is different. that's why i am yarhu child. and when you go to your birthdate corner, it's our routine to gently pour water cups, number similar to your age, over the shoulder or head. So if u are 30 y/o, you pour 30 cups, while you would recite some prayers or some wishes.
