  • I Was Shocked By Manila Philippines On My First Day!! In this Philippines travel vlog on my first day In Manila Philippines and I am shocked by the beauty of the BGC (bonifacio global city) area of Manila. This BGC area looks nothing like other parts of Philippines and resembles New york city or Los Angeles with all the tall skyscrapers and wide streets. When you travel to Manila Philippines you must visit the BGC area.

    Who am I?
A man from the USA trying to travel the world one place at a time, while sharing the journey through my lens. I like traveling to places that are usually not first on most people’s tourism list and showing everyone that these places are worth the journey. I want to experience all the countries I visit as a member of the society but at the same time learn about the culture, food and beautiful people. Growth is not achievable without leaving your comfort zone, so just do it!

As I said BGC, Makati and Ortigas are the cities in the Metropolis that are well planned and in harmony with the importance of greeneries that's why there are a lot of open spaces and vegetation that are not only pleasing to the eyes but environmentally friendly too. These areas are developed by the Ayalas and the Ortigas who are Spaniard descendants compared to Chinese monkey business people who have no regard for proper urban planning as long they are earning deceitful money from the blood of the Filipinos.

00:22 You know you are not in Manila. Then why do you still keep calling it "Manila" then? BGC is in Taguig City!
01:05 You're jaywalking. You're lucky there are no police around. Pls behave. You are not in America.
02:27 Additional info: BGC is not really a "city". It's just a business district with a fancy name. This means BGC is not part of the government. It does not have its own mayor. It cannot impose taxes. It does not offer free healthcare services. No judiciary, etc. BGC, in turn, is located in Taguig (the real city).

In PITX Aseana, you can take a bus to Tagaytay city for a Cafe with overlooking view of Taal Volcano, the smallest active Volcano in the World. Not sure if its erupting now. Enjoy your tour, be safe, Mabuhay!

Even if BGC seem like a bubble place, it's not only the develope place in the Metro Manila. Makati City, the Rockwell, the Alabang, the Bay erea in Pasay and many more are some of the developed vicinities of the Metro. Actually, the business capital of the Philippines is Makati, and Makati is much compared to New York City because of Skyscrapers, and BGC is most likely seem to be the New York, Los Angeles and Miami without the beach combined. Don't mind those people who're saying that BGC isn't Manila, they're just jealous if their City's are not mentioned specifically, but there's nothing wrong to say it's Manila, because it's a part of the Metro Manila anyway! All buildings that you see are owned by Filipino businessmen. The Philippine constitution does not allow foreigners to fully own establishments, land or companies in the Philippine soil.

Why are you shocked???! Does that mean you have a different view of Manila in your mind?? Like poor dirty Manila? That's what westerns usually think...not only BGC has tall buildings and modern...there are Aseana city, Eastwood city, Makati city, pasay city, Rockwell, Alabang, Clark city...etc..

You are in Metro Manila which is made up of 16 separate cities and one of them is Manila. Taguig and Makati are also one if these 16. If you are vlogging about the Philippines to give your viewers useful information about the country, make sure you verify your facts and not make up your own just for convenience.

    Philippines population=110million
    GDP per capita=3500$
Combined population of Southwestern states of India Karnataka+Kerala=110million
    GDP per capita=3500$
But still our state doesn't appear as developed as philipines,Why?

pH GDP/GNI PER Capita is already $4,500 based on world bank as of today..
