It is nice to see someone who breaks away from building the "standard Les Pauls, ES, Strat and Tele guitars." Nice work and nice design!

Always makes me laugh how people get hung up on guitar body styles when it's really all about the electronics and you could use a 2 x 4 assuming you know what your doing. As looks to, this is pure craftsmanship and two thumbs up. Saw Justin Johnson, with a 3 string garden spade type shovel guitar and made my own, $400.00 for the idea he got from someone who never even got credit is criminal,. Made my own for about $150.00 including drill bits, shovel, tuners, strings and hardware.

I love the woodwork and concept. The volume and tone controls need to be somewhere else, easier for the player to use, also the selector switch. Maybe an acrylic insert on the bottom to put all the v/t/selector switch onto? Route the edge on the top of the bottom part, cut the acrylic piece to fit on top, then put the v/t in the typical place, and the selector switch at the front near the hook. Just an idea. Really cool look and work, though!

With the BEAUTIFUL Multi-lam NECK, you might try a THRU-NECK next time, making it REALLY FUTURISTIC-looking! NICE TOOLS, SHOP, CNC, PLANER, etc. TOO! What was the final WEIGHT of this thing in the end? Nice craftsmanship....reminded me of the 80's YAMAHA SBG's and ARIA Neck-thrus of that era. But the way you did the CONTROLS was really INNOVATIVE!!! If the body and neck had a slightly different SHAPE (more like an SG say) this could be easily MADE into a LEFTY OR RIGHTY, depending on the player! Cool design trick, that.

Truss rod installation not shown, is there one? Raising/lowering pickups possible? Unable to see neck finish, finish out of frets missing. What does this guitar weigh? Les Pauls are heavy, preventing many from buying them. If this weighs more than a “regular’ one, that will be a consideration. The tone & volume controls look unconventional, but I bet they are just fine. One comment about lack of sustain is legitimate, but the video doesn’t really answer that one way or the other. Cosmetically, this is a beautiful piece of work. Congratulations!

Cosmeticly it looks great...functionality wise idk...the knows are in awkward places and the swit h to me would at least make more sense going left to right than front to back I think using an actual guitar next would have been a good call...don't get me wrong it looks great but the frets need shaved and the neck really needs to be able to be adjusted...also try some shims between the neck n body...just a piece of paper boutvthe size of a match width n put it on the pickup side of the body/ neck on the pickup side of the screws...kinda helps move the neck a Lil if the strings need lowered...other than that...taking it in to fine tune would be a great next step...they can dial it in...but it's freaking sharp man...great job it's beautiful
