Hi guys. Nice work as usual but I've got a question. I see you guys reinforce the tops of the stringers to set the engine mounts on there but how did you guys actually attach the mounts to the stringers.
This type of work is very expensive. Mostly just because its very time consuming. We have had a few people setup to build or modify their own boat in our yard, doing most of their own glasswork to save on labor costs. They usually wind up working darn near full time in the yard for a year or two, when they make any major modifications to the layout of a boat. Checkout our series on the lobster boat or the Farallon. Great examples of mostly owner done glass work. Rene probably worked full time on these hatches for a couple months off and on. I don't know the exact cost, but it wasn't cheap.

I don't think we got a good shot of it. But we actually cross drilled through the side of the stringer and put a nut in the cross drilled hole.
