The zeiss colour is something i would love to see on all phones. Sometimes, you want to shoot something as is and most phones (especially budget) tend to get colours wrong or tend to go overdramatic
Or an iPhone system that has the natural colours spot on every time, but don’t even bother trying to zoom in for the photos you’ve taken, otherwise you would cringe at the graininess because of the post processing effects.
This is the kind of stuff I like to see on new phones. A company that keeps working to genuinely push the boundaries and genuinely improve things rather than settle on just marginally better specs year to year. Cool video! Hopefully other companies start adding dedicated photo processing chips to up their camera game!
I thought the same. On paper, they're undefeated. Then you actually buy one and try Functouch OS and realize that having top-end specs is kind of pointless if the hardware isn't properly optimized and the UI is unpolished. I can really appreciate a company leaning in hard on the thing they're best at, and Vivo seems to have found their niche with over-the-top camera tech.
I've had this phone for 2 months. It has a spectacular camera (although for video, a lot of options are limited to 1080p) and great hardware but I would not recommend it at all. Battery life is TERRIBLE, I can rarely squeeze more than 4:30-5h out of it (with the display set at 2400x1800 and refresh rate at 60Hz). Functouch OS is quite buggy (notifications sometimes don't work for certain apps, the overly aggressive power management doesn't play well with certain apps, there's considerable visual lag when transitioning between apps, defeating the purpose of 120Hz displays, etc) and has an interface that feels pretty dated; the phone heats up BIG TIME not only with CPU-demanding tasks but also networking (cellular and WiFi); network activity chews through the battery at an alarming rate and Vivo's customer service is terrible. If reviewers actually used this phone as their daily driver for a couple of weeks they'd quickly realize that it's not a polished enough package to warrant its price tag and is far from providing the smooth, bug-free experience a top-end phone this price should offer. I decided to give it a chance but seriously regret not returning it.

I love this phone so much! The camera is insane with the integration of Zeiss and the ultra HD document scanning is amazing! I haven't seen a sample of this phone yet but I hope, it has a feature where you can scan continuous documents or images and then automatically saves it as a compiled file. That's going to be a unique selling point of this phone aside from the Zeiss integrated camera.
Wonder if carriers will pick up the X80 Pro or the X80 Pro+ this year. Would be nice to see more Vivo phones on UK carriers. Especially with such ridiculous cameras.
Owning the first series X50 here, the problem after almost 2 years is the vertical dead-green screen. Seem comes after heavy usage and when in hot condition. With screen replacement at USD115 currently, switching to another Vivo devices pretty unlikely in the future. Pro: night camera -︵- !
Regarding smartphone camera systems I feel like getting colors right exactly as I see them is actually a huge advantage that the Pixel Phones have - no collab needed. :) Seriously, I have never been diappointed by my Pixel 6's camera and I do get positive comments on my photos from friends and family on a regular basis. Unlike when I used to have a Samsung.
The video title says it all, This phone is definitely like something out of this world. Superbly amazing.. And damn the way whole video the way its edited and the content totally superb 👍
Used HTC, Sony and then switched to Samsung when the Note 2 came out and been pretty much a Samsung user since then, haven't felt too brave about exploring other brands, namely due to reliability and the market value. This new Vivo phone is really making me consider getting it but only after I see an in depth review on this by Arun. I tend to use phones for a long time so not sure how Vivo phones hold out in the long run.
Thats exactly the issue with Vivo phones - they wont last you as long as Apple/Samsung/Google phone... Full of bugs, SW is underdeveloped, updates will stop coming soon. I´ve sold X70Pro after few months because of the ridiculous software and number of small issues I´ve had with it. Random battery drains, notifications not coming, Android Auto not working in two cars/crashing in other one and many more...

Keep it up

My favorite Tech youtuber till date ...
This phone has what i've always had in my mind! ULTRA HD DOCUMENTS is just a feature that i always wanted and would be so easy to add. Finally it got added to something! But i normally see downsides on this channel! Kinda sketchy.
Actually it's because tech channels are legally not allowed to talk about the downsides until like a week or 2. It's called a ...... Period (I can't remember the word in the dotted line).
@@devika2545 Yeah I remember that from somewhere...

MYLO WHAT THE HECK?!
I am using a Vivo X60 pro+ and after a year of using it, there are still features in the camera app which I haven´t used, same as customisations for the home screen pop up, and it still gets new modes for the camera app. I totaly love this phone. I think it is still really crazy and Vivo allredy has 2 phones which are more crazy
That was a great video Arun
However I'd love to see a full review on this and I know taking sponsorships is important to run the channel but we never got a review on the x70 + so I'd love to see one for this and I'm sure others would too this might be a stupid idea after a sponsored video on it but just leaving this here thx
You'd love to see another video where Arun worships Apple and them paying him?
Alright.
Yeh without fake stuff BC in this vid some stuff is fake
@@rikufanboy 🙄
Glad you liked the video, it's coming soon.
@@DanKaschel You don't like the truth, I see..
00:40 you make fun of your own 😂😂
I love this phone so much! The camera is insane with the integration of Zeiss and the ultra HD document scanning is amazing! I haven't seen a sample of this phone yet but I hope, it has a feature where you can scan continuous documents or images and then automatically saves it as a compiled file. That's going to be a unique selling point of this phone aside from the Zeiss integrated camera.
vivo has contribute so much to the evolution of phones today like iphone samsung ect
vivo is awesome
Thank You for nice review!😊
Wonder if carriers will pick up the X80 Pro or the X80 Pro+ this year. Would be nice to see more Vivo phones on UK carriers. Especially with such ridiculous cameras.
Really missed 4k 60 fps in Front Camera
Otherwise it's just Beast🔥🔥
Most of the time just before sleep I watch his video with I like his sweeet smooth voice and sleep
Being a owner of vivo .I can proudly say vivo phones Don't get their performance reduced by time as like other phones .
@@yuvrajsingh770 If youre using a $300 phoen above I guess yes
@@craftimations9265 yeah i am using vivo V20 pro
3:46 I actually like the darker one...looks more natural, like Sony pictures...
Regarding smartphone camera systems I feel like getting colors right exactly as I see them is actually a huge advantage that the Pixel Phones have - no collab needed. :)
Seriously, I have never been diappointed by my Pixel 6's camera and I do get positive comments on my photos from friends and family on a regular basis. Unlike when I used to have a Samsung.
if collab can produce natural picture like our eyes see, then why not ☺️
@@bam_bad yes indeed, the cooperation with Zeiss does seem to help Vivo a lot
The video title says it all, This phone is definitely like something out of this world. Superbly amazing.. And damn the way whole video the way its edited and the content totally superb 👍
cant wait for apple to implement this into their phone 15 years from now. Cant wait!!!
hahahahaha, we will wait together brother🤣😂
Finally a charger in a phone 😃
vivo always gives chargers in their phones nowadays.. one of the only companies that do it anymore honestly...
This is the quality content 💥
@@Houmer That doesn't sound like an experience anyone would want out of their phone. It looks like it gets worse the longer you use them. Thanks for sharing your experience.
I got a VivoV15Pro in 2019 and I am still using it. It doesn't receive major software updates but still receives security updates.
It has a decent camera with a good low light ability, 6GB RAM, SD 675, 128GB. It can record 4K30FPS and 1080P60FPS. Just had one major repair regarding battery.
@@themightywolfie7145 Interesting, Battery is understandable as it would degrade over time but what about the phone itself, have you experienced any issues with notifications not showing up or the phone slowing down in general?
As usual, even though sponsored, some points are very clear... Still waiting for a serious review from you regarding the x series from vivo... Thinking about getting one, not before your review
your comment unfortunately got copied by one of those garbage comment bots
I have that "ultra hd document" feature in my Oppo Reno 10x Zoom but its called "text scanner" and its so cool to use because I can use the zoom lense to scan document and my friends are always amazed how I can take really clear shot almost like a screenshot of texts very far from me
It seems like vivo started entering the flagships market for real this time, I wish them luck and success.
Everything thing is good on my Vivo x70pro but when i take videos in low light or inside home in 4k60fps its not good at all video gets very glitchy but in daylight the video is smooth as butter
1:18 Sadly, that's what she said. 😥
😂😂
Arun is ♂️
Ultra HD document scanning would be very useful to me. That’s something I can’t do with my Note 20 Ultra. All documents are blurry and washed out
Alright congratulations you have been selected among my shortlisted winner’s………
Have you tried 3rd party apps? There are some pretty good ones

Got myself a vivo x70pro end of last year! Was looking for something midrange in price to replace my Samsung Galaxy S9. Dont regret a single thing! Feels very premium and is a powerhouse. I will be a dedicated vivo flagship user if they keep up with their innovation and quality.

@ThunderGamer OHHH
I feel like Vivo is rushing a bit. Before people can get their hands on one model, they release a new upgraded version.
i feel you xD
I bought my vivo v9 in 2017 and feels like 50 years has passed
He looks genuinely happy in his every video, I like it. ☺️
