I appreciate that this shows even tour players missing a bit from 117. I think we amateurs get it in our head that pros are sticking every ball within five feet from that distance, and anything outside of that is failure.
I believe Higgs needs more bounce on the wedge. Looks/sounds like he is hitting it high on the face. More bounce will get the strike lower on the face, bring down the trajectory and improve distance control. You can see his divots and the deepest of them. Another tell tale that more bounce would help him.
High bounce wedges don't work as well on tight lies which are everywhere on Tour. Most of the pros play low bounce on their wedges. Spieth has a lob wedge with 4* of bounce.

Why is TM featuring SG on these promotional videos? He is not relevant as a pro. Lack luster career with only one Major win. He was laud as a young phenom to achieve great success but only won 11 PGA titles in 23 yrs. Last win was the Masters 2017. Vile persona on and off the course. Rude, entitled and uncouth to his colleagues and fans. Most disgusting act perpetrated by SG was depositing his saliva into the cup on the thirteenth hole in the third round at the WGC Champion in 2007. He managed to vent his anger during a round in Saudi Arabia by defacing five separate greens which the tournament quickly disqualify his participation. Or throwing his shoes into a group of fans during a round. I'm surprised the PGA tolerated his childish behavior for the past twenty three years. LIV will fund his retirement. Good Riddance!
