I agree to an extent, but the items aren't typically expensive and as long as they are items to use for organization, I don't mind.
I've found some cool stuff from her videos, like fridge drawers that connect to your existing shelves and it has helped us not waste food when we have smaller items like refrigerated protein bars.

I used those huge moving bags to empty my kitchen. As I need things, I'd get them from the bag, and after a year, whatever is left in the bags get donated. I plan on doing room by room that way.

When we moved from Wisconsin to Texas 2 years ago, we used similar bags to pack up bedding, pillows, blankets, winter clothes/coats. After a full year living in Texas we knew which items we could donate because they weren’t used in a year. We did hold onto one winter coat each in case we ever need to go back to Wisconsin in the winter.
Souper Cubes work for most any leftovers at all. I'm single, and when I cook most anything I'll freeze some single portions. They are also oven safe, I've baked mini meatloaves in them.
Loving the Jan and jul shoes too! Our daughter can put them on all by herself!

I bought Freshwave years ago in a hardware store. Good to see they still make it because the store stopped carrying it. Hint: with your car trash bag put the strip you pull off in the bag before you close it.

California Baby is hands down the best mineral sunscreen! I worked at a school where we would greet the kids out of their cars and a bro and sis would arrive to school pasty white with the sunscreen and at the end of the day they would still have a white cast. I started using it (when I don’t care about a white cast but do care that no sun gets through) and it doesn’t irritate my skin nor do I get any sun!

Please be aware of plant based products if you or someone in your house has allergies! I was a maid and one of my clients had all natural plant based products she wanted me to use. I started getting a runny nose and was fighting sneezing and coughing and told her, to which she argued with me saying "but you can eat it!" So I replied you can eat fish too, but some people are allergic.
The boon pivot! I haven't seen ANYONE talk about this. I think there was one Tiktok on it when I was looking for reviews.
I absolutely love ours. It is SO study and easy to clean. I have a trip trap highchair and even though that's still the right choice for us and our space, I really don't like cleaning the wood and the paint has chipped in a few places.
I also think that having a learning tower that collapses is so important because if you are vigilant about collapsing it, you are much kess likely to have a little using it unsupervised to access something dangerous or messy.
Even collapsed it stands up on its own which is nice.
Only downside is that it is very pricey.
I still don’t understand it. I couldn’t figure out what you were saying. So what is a boon Tower?
My kids are too old and have decided not to have kids.
@@PaulaZF Boon is a brand name and the Pivot is the name they have given to their "learning tower". It's essentially a step stool with guard rails that a toddler can climb up on and use to be at a good height to access a bench. Most people use them in the kitchen to make it easier for children to help prepare food. But you could obviously also use them so they could help in a workshop or art bench etc.

I'm glad I watched this. I wanted to find bags that fit the big Melissa and Doug tray puzzles. I am tired of putting the alphabet back together when my 2-year-old is being himself. LOL

The “bag sticks” are just like the sides of those organising folders that are like a plastic folded in half and to hold all the loose pages it uses that same stick to hold them all. Idk what would be cheaper of the two, but it’s definitely the same
As for the storage bags: ikea has pretty much the same ones with a zipper and two options for handles, so it can be held or you can even carry it as a giant backpack
For the case of repellent: double check that it works against aedes aegyptis which is the mosquito with white lines, the one that carries all the diseases. If it doesn’t, then it’s pretty much useless
Zipper pouches are great, they used to be sold at dollar store but I assume due to inflation not anymore, but if you have old ziploc bags with tiny holes from wear, you can just use it to storage things that aren’t liquid just fine

What's a water table?
It’s an outdoor table that kids can play with water. Some have a place for sand too!
A plastic grocery sack hung off the headrest in the car will serve the same purpose as those expensive Toss-its bags
Disposable food storage tubs w/lids (think Glad brand, Ziploc brand, even containers deli meats come in) are just as good & much cheaper than the $35 silicone freezer squares. Use the cheap tubs to fill with soup, etc., then pop the frozen hunk out and vacuum seal it in a bag.
Re: Room spray, you can also just use unscented candles or light a match.
You should mention for the essential oil bug spray that it needs to be "lemon eucalyptus" oil, not just eucalyptus oil. Also this kind of bug spray is great to use on dogs when hiking to keep ticks away!
