    One of the greatest "What ifs" in pro wrestling history. What a talent he was.

      He was basically the original Alberto del Rio, only with way more talent. “The handsome half-breed” driving fast cars. That was Gino.

    I loved W C C W as a teenager. Great wrestling from Texas. Gino was one of my favorites to watch along with the Gentleman Chris Adams. I miss those guys. They both were what if's.

    I haven't watched wrestling regularly since maybe 1985, but I've seen clips of the MJF guy to make me think of Gino back in the day, and how he can draw at least some organic heat. Again, it's been so long, I'm sure I'm wrong.
    Hey, I'm a poet and didn't know it.
    But my feet show it...

    Gino got put in a bad position by his buddy Jon Royal with someone that Royal had nuclear heat with. This person sent word for Gino to leave town and when he didnt, "word" was delivered by the three guys seen leaving out the front door of his condo.

    Sounds like Gino was a punk… bullied Ox Baker, try to sucker kick a cowboy, jumped a person after Killer Brooks knocked him out.

    • @Supernd01
      @Supernd01 5 месяцев назад

      Weird how one of the menacing looking wrestlers ever (Ox Baker) was actually not menacing at all. I'm sure it had everything to do with Ox being painfully slow.

    • @KClouisville
      @KClouisville 2 месяца назад

      @@Supernd01 Also, Baker, outside of his menacing heel persona, was supposedly a pretty nice guy....might not have been inclined to or wanted to get in fights. Though supposedly Kurt Russell had to stop him from being too snug during their fight scene in Escape From New York by tapping his jewels with a baseball bat. Lol.

    Gino had unlimited potential. He would’ve fit WWE like hand in glove. Probably why Kenny Von Erich comes across like a hater here

    • @jonathanturbide2232
      @jonathanturbide2232 6 месяцев назад +5

      I don't know man, personally I feel that his wild "activities" outside the ring would have made any run with WWF or Crockett Promotion rather short, there's no way he would have been able to act that way if he would have been working for Vince. I think Gino would have ended up fired early in his run, like the Freebirds, he was just too wild and out of control outside the ring.
