1997 toyota rav4 auto gear shifter light bulb and ac control bulb

On AC control panel just pop off knobs then take off top black panel and under you'll see a frosted panel that pops out. That's where the bulb is.

Note for rav4 owners: dont touch the shifter at all. just remove 4 screws and pull driver side plastic away from the transmission a little and you will able to unscrew this bulb from the buttom. thats all. 2min job.

For my model.. the rear end of the console plastic shroud has a 5th screw at the bottom of the cupholder, the middle two screws are just above the front seat rails (gotta slide the seats all the way back) and the front two are near your right leg for driver, left leg for passenger.

definitely not a 2721. I just replaced my burnt out light behind the HVAC controls and that was a 2721. I went to do the shifter light and wrong size. I suspect its the 74. I havent been back to the store yet.
