    I’ve had my small key lime tree for a year! It was doing good up until this spring I brought it outside and it gets almost full sun and I water it daily. Not sure if I’m watering too much or not enough. My leaves began to curl down! Any suggestions? Thank you so much

    This was so awesome, thank you! I really want to try to grow this, a dwarf key lime fruit, from seed, then graph it next to my american persiommon bonsai. Is there any way you or someone could send me a few seeds? It would mean so much. Just think about it and get back to me please! Thanks!!

    I purchased a key lime tree from Lowes that was half price a couple of months back and it is starting to flower already. I am so excited about being able to harvest fruit in the near future. Do you eat them like you would other citrus or do you cook with them? It's my first time having a tree. Thanks for sharing this video.

  • @TheAlkalineHealer
    @TheAlkalineHealer 4 года назад +1

    So do the key limes fall off the tree once ripe? Or should I pull them prior?
    Also how do I determine if their ready to be pulled?

    • @GardenloveHomestead
      @GardenloveHomestead  4 года назад +1

      Hi, Welcome to my channel. Key limes and any other citrus can hold their fruit for a very long time until they cant no more and then the fruit falls. with Key limes you can harvest as soon as the fruit is a good size, and you can leave them on the tree untill you need them. eventually they will turn yellow and fall of. their great both green and or yellow. :) I hope that was helpful.

      @@GardenloveHomestead what actual size is considered as a "good size" to pick them off the tree?
      I have a few nice sized ones on my tree, but I'm new to this, and I don't want to pull them too soon. 😁
