Looks like the 1st ever easter lime hunt!
Lol, love it! Im really thinking I should change the tittle. I had lots of fun finding these little limes.
Such a beautiful Mex Key Lime. U am about to harvest my first lime from my tree. Gonna enjoy picking from this tree.
Thank you, yay! I hope it was a wonderful harvest!
That is a total treasure hunt for limes. They really are productive trees you have.

Those limes doing really good with your cares. That aloe looks fantastic. Have a lovely day
Thank you so much, thankful they dont need that much care just a little but it's worth the time and effort.
Very nice Diana. Thanks for sharing
Hi, thank you for stopping by. Do you have a keylime? I know you have kumquats 😊
Cool!! Now I know what the key lime is supposed to look like. Mine still looks like a shrub. Thanks Diana! This is info. is golden!
Hi Celeste, glad I can help. Yay! Thank you for watching. These are really tasty. Hope you get a great harvest soon.🤗💚
Nice harvest. The tree(s) are looking great. Yes they are doing amazing 👌👍
Thank you, yes their doing amazing! Very happy with the harvest. Hard work does pay off 😉. Oh and patients too
That is so amazing! I love fresh fruit 😍
Thank you, there is definitely not like fresh fruit. It taste amazing 🙂 wish I could send you some. thank you for watching 💚
I’ve had my small key lime tree for a year! It was doing good up until this spring I brought it outside and it gets almost full sun and I water it daily. Not sure if I’m watering too much or not enough. My leaves began to curl down! Any suggestions? Thank you so much
This was so awesome, thank you! I really want to try to grow this, a dwarf key lime fruit, from seed, then graph it next to my american persiommon bonsai. Is there any way you or someone could send me a few seeds? It would mean so much. Just think about it and get back to me please! Thanks!!
I purchased a key lime tree from Lowes that was half price a couple of months back and it is starting to flower already. I am so excited about being able to harvest fruit in the near future. Do you eat them like you would other citrus or do you cook with them? It's my first time having a tree. Thanks for sharing this video.
It was like a Easter egg hunt
Lol it was like an easter keylime hunt! Lol 🤣😂
My family has a huge lime tree and we always wondered what kinda limes they were, today I found out they're mexican key limes.
That's awesome, yes these are Keylimes
What size pot is that? I have a key lime tree and it has more blooms than leaves.
Are those key limes the ones you use for mexican food and drinks?
So do the key limes fall off the tree once ripe? Or should I pull them prior?
Also how do I determine if their ready to be pulled?
Hi, Welcome to my channel. Key limes and any other citrus can hold their fruit for a very long time until they cant no more and then the fruit falls. with Key limes you can harvest as soon as the fruit is a good size, and you can leave them on the tree untill you need them. eventually they will turn yellow and fall of. their great both green and or yellow. :) I hope that was helpful.
@@GardenloveHomestead what actual size is considered as a "good size" to pick them off the tree?
I have a few nice sized ones on my tree, but I'm new to this, and I don't want to pull them too soon. 😁
Love your videos, but the dog barking in the back the whole video. Omg.haha
I know what you mean, sorry about that. Love you for being honest ❤
What size is the pot?
@everyone is the mexican thornless lime a key lime? They can be used for key lime pie?
Hi, yes their the same. Yum, have you done it before?
What size pot are you using?
What is root pruning do u have a vdo on that?
Hi, welcome to my channel. Root pruning is just pulling it out and removing some of the roots and adding new soil 🤗
Where did you get these? I want one, and I can't find them anywhere. They're all "thornless key lime".
They also go by that name thornless key lime. You can always ask your local nursery to order you one. 😉
Spiders 🕷️🕸️ are ur garden friends .
They are, I still don't like to feel their spider web lol
Looks like an Easter egg hunt
Lol, I should have tittle it Easter keylime hunt 😂😂😂
Where can i buy a keylime tree?
Lol hope you dont have any poisonous spiders over there 😬😬
I hope so too. We get some black widows sometimes 😥😬
@@GardenloveHomestead 😲😲😲😲
Is this tree a dwarf? Nice harvest!
The one on the right is a dwarf and the one on the left is a standard. You can tell by the trunk and where the branches are coming from.
It looks like you may have a iron deficiency on your second keylime
Yes it's definitely time to feed them. I didn't start on schedule. thank you for noticing :) you rock!
@@GardenloveHomestead your welcome we gardeners have to look out for each other
Where do I find one to purchase??
Green Thumb Nursery has them. but actually any local nursary can order them for you if they dont have them,
@@GardenloveHomestead thanks so much. Will look into it real soon. Regards,
