This girl just wants to be treated like an only child. She has weaponized her situation and lashes out when she is called out. You can hear how she speaks & her body language (the pouting & tamper tantrum at convenient times) that she is manipulative. First off, I just want to commend and acknowledge the big sister for 1. Trying to be there for her little sister even when their father wasn’t, even when the sister didn’t want it and the mother didn’t make her and even with her father neglecting her also.
2. For being the only one who is emotionally mature to not make everything about herself while also, expressing her feelings, truth and trauma in a healthy way without allowing anyone to water down HER TRUTH and how she felt.
3. And for still being there for her sister while she was on stage even with her over talking, disrespecting and yelling at her, she still handled herself in a respectful and loving way🤎
Even though it wasn’t about her, I commend her for not making it about her when she could have and simply being very loving, patient and kind even in the midst of being neglected as a daughter and disrespected as a sister.

Um, I’m sorry but this sorry was absolutely right, and the mother does need to take accountability, because for one this child was created out of this man cheating on his wife. Imagine the loss her sister took ? Yet she held no resentment towards her little sister. I’m just blew at how much anger she feels towards everyone but her own mama that laid up and pro created from a married man. Second , let’s talk about the fact that she says “ I want you all to myself” there is yet another reason she should be holding her mother accountable. Unless this man lied about already having a child from a previous relationship she knows the timing is evenly split she is not his one and only child , and therefore his whole entire world will not only revolve around her. First off I took accountability for my actions. My daughter and I already had the discussion. I was 19 he was 28 he lied like he wasn’t with anyone. Unless you know our story personally keep your opinion to yourself.
I believe her mother when she said that she asked her daughter if she wanted to go with her dad, and I feel like the mom did take accountability for her actions. If the dad felt differently he wouldn’t have thanked the mom for raising their daughter.. he knew his mistakes and owned up to them. Two people created a child together and only one was involved in the child’s life, mothers are protectors.. it’s an instinct. I don’t feel the mother is in the wrong in any way at all.
“Hug her Terri” is all I needed to hear.. that speaks volume about the whole situation. A father needed someone else to tell him what to do for his own daughter while she’s hysterically crying.

Talking bad about the father to the child only hurts the child and makes it very hard to have a relationship at any point because the child is head ti believe the father doesn’t love them because the mother is hurt the father didn’t love her right. Not to mention the affect that has on a girl with her self worth and relationships she has with men when she is told her dad doesn’t love her etc. my mom did all that to me and my sister. Her mom created this mess. My child's father was not there at the beginning, I never said a negative word to her about him., I made sure that his family had total access to her, she was there for every family event because they did nothing to me, so why would I deny my child from being with them they are a wonderful family. When her dad finally came around, they went into therapy together and she was able to work through all the pain she was carrying. Today they are inseparable, he is now a grandfather, and he has taken on the role as if he was made for it.
He created this mess by stepping out on his wife learn how to put the blame where it belong !!!

I love this show ! Karamo keep breaking generation curses for the people in our community. We often don’t get the help we need as people because of the trauma resulting back from slavery. Keep showing us how to cope and communicate in healthy ways. ❤
They are both single mothers with absent children’s fathers now if their children don’t follow the pattern that’s the beginning of a generational curse being broken
The older sister on this show is my neice due to being the wife of my nephew. She is a good wife and mother. I know the dad as well especially even moreso the last few years and I believe he loves all his kids and made some poor choices in the past,but he is a kind man. Keep up the good job Terry! Yall are a beautiful family ❤
Him saying congrats instead of your welcome really was deeper than the eye bc it deserved a congrats. They did so much work here. I’m proud of them all, beautiful family and beautiful growth.
She’s creating her own hurt bc of her mother. I feel as though her mom is malicious bc he is still married but not to her. Her mother pushed her away from him and her sister, and her grandparents bc well her mom didn’t wanna see the man she slept with with another woman let alone accept he had other kids. Mom needs accountability as well.

I grew up with my dad. And he made a point to tell me that he loved me everyday. Called me lil bit until I became a mom, then my daughter became lil bit. Lol. But I tell you… hearing that young lady wail from the absolute depths of her soul _WRECKED_ me. That was the wounded and abandoned little girl crying out in the body of a young woman. ❤️

I’m not sure if it’s the hurt she’s feeling that makes her act the way she was acting,but as a parent, once she started cursing at me, the conversation would’ve been over; for her protection as well as mine! That mama is something, you can tell by the little snide comments she was making when they were hugging.

The older sister is emotionally intelligent, articulated her side of the story well and was patient with her little sister.
Dad clearly was to blame for having an affair and not being in his children’s life but if Takari didn’t want to go around his side of the family and mom didn’t help foster the siblings relationship then of course they are going to be estranged. 🤷🏽♀️
These children are the innocent parties in the adult’s mess. The sisters should have been able to have a relationship together. Dad should have seen to this but if not mum could possibly have chaperoned the sisters in her home or at the mall or something. This would have been good for the girls to have their own relationship outside of the dad’s dysfunction.
Takari being so disrespectful and shutting down her sister’s side of the story was horrible. The sister wasn’t being disrespectful she was telling her truth and Takari wasn’t ready to hear it - everyone including Takari , her mother,dad etc had a part to play in this narrative whether she likes it or not.
I hope both the girls get counselling and heal. I hope dad gets to make up for lost time. It doesn’t matter how old they get they’ll still need their dad and I hope mum has or can heal from having to deal with her daughter’s hurt as a single parent all these years.

My grandmother said so many hurtful things to me and left bruises on my face when I was 8 and then now she wonders why I never call her nor go and see her and then people wanna blame me and still defend her saying that I’m the one who’s mistreating her. I can definitely relate to this young lady
