Have you tried doing one playthrough using your feet instead of your hands?
Or maybe one where you switch your hands on the controller (example: you control rayman with your right hand but you press the punch and jump buttons with your left hand)?

I wish the previous video was uploaded a lil later! I saw someone do a Pikmin run recently but every day they lost a random button, my bad suggestion idea woulda been losing a random button every 30 minutes or something?

I think I didn't explain my loopy idea properly though
What I thought bout was the minimal number of powerup casts to finish the game (ie. 1 vortex throw/heavy metal fist/lockjaw grapple/rocket shot/copter take off = 1 cast)

maybe my hands are just gargantuan, but the index finger only rule didnt say you have to use the tip of your finger. just lay your finger across the controller (easier if your controller is small =p)
