I so love this! I first learned it as a canon from an older Sufi guy in rural Mendocino County CA who had me singing before meals for several days... then decades later, my eleven year old was in the children;s chorus with California Revels and I was a children;s backstage manager... the kids did this a fifth apart, accompanied by our assistant music director on cello.
This is so helpful, thank you! I am participating in my first virtual choir practice since the pandemic began, and I am able to get a head start on this beautiful song. 🎶
Our Schola Cantoris is singing this in church tomorrow. I am the only alto singing against four sopranos and two bases. Although it is very simple, I am finding myself getting thrown off my part if I listen to them. I have to stick my finger in my ear so that I can hear myself and pay attention to my timing. The only tenor will be conducting and can not help because he is finding it difficult to conduct and sing the part at the same time.

Love this, it’s my older one’s new school song but it’s the other melody (like in the movie Henry V) but this one is beautiful too and I love it if you’d do one for the other version too so she learns it this way too but if not that’s ok too (:
