I did a mistake. When i tried to remove a pressure convertor from egr, i pulled up accidentally by OiL dipstick and came out from oilbath and oil came out. I cant fit it now again, do you have some idea how to put it? or what i must to unmount from the engine?
@BritishRusher Do you need special tools to put back the belt?
I love the music, it makes me feel like I just return from a war, in The Lord of the Ring.
what are the torque settings please?
Hi. Did you turn the pulley tensioner to the right or left when you release the belt mate? Thanks
If it's still of use... You have to turn it to the left really deep to get comfortable space.
Camilion Ridge thanks for your reply. By the way any ideas how to install the small aircon belt. I am looking to change both of them soon. Thanks
Engine is m47?
Oskar U yes
yes
Hi, What is the torx size from the tool , to release belt tension? T60 / T70 / T80 ??
Thank you
Looks like T60 or T70 - I'll buy both of them and I will try on my M47N2 to release belt tension on accessory belt. Did you try to remove the Steering pump belt ? How did you manage to do it ?
Okay, I just received my torx tools, it's T55 !

BMWs are such beautiful cars it's just so sad their engines are like icicles; so brittle.
