- It’s certainly easier to make assumptions about people than it is to spend time getting to know someone. We wanted to put assumptions to the test to see what we're missing out on because we're so busy assuming we already "know" a person. Join us as we discover why you should never judge a book by it’s cover in our series 'Tell My Story, Blind Date.'
We are all conditioned with certain biases. In this experiment, we challenged these biases by asking people to guess their partner's interests and past experiences based only on their partner's appearance. When they learned their partner's real answers, they were shocked by how wrong they were.

Nice young lady BUT she tried too hard and made it obvious that she'd say anything to win him over! She acted desperate. She wasn't being honest with him when it came to religion and from then on she put on a front. For the record, according to her she does NOT believe in an afterlife... her initial words. To me, he told her he dates black women so she wouldn't feel like he turned her down because she's black. He's actually in a relationship currently with a black woman. He made the right decision. I'm surprised she was surprised when he rejected her. She was a bit too forward as well and kinda annoyed me when she mentioned white men having a fetish for dating black women. For everyone that's knocking his looks and his profession... just STOP already. He wasn't attracted to her LIVE WITH IT!! If he felt like they weren't compatible we should all RESPECT his decision. It wouldn't have worked out anyway. In my opinion, she was more drawn into him for his looks more than who he is as a person. Her "Would date you" answer really annoyed me as well.
