This was the best GoW game I have played. Loved a bigger story along with the combat but also the father/son dynamic and how the grow over their journey.
So there is just a cut-scene with them where you fight or there is a completely new combat system because if they do that I will be really surprised...

I don't think I could be happier with this game as far as game play goes. There's a few things that could have added to it, but its awesome without those things anyways. There's a couple parts of the story that were slightly disappointing (the direction they sent Freya mainly) but its still just so awesome as far as game play goes which wins it for me. The only down side is I'm not sure that any other game will ever be able to live up to this one for me now. If anyone knows of any though please feel free to share.

But after they revealed the new look and Chris judge as kratos, my fears lessened and my excitement skyrocketed. Chris judge is an underrated actor. But this take on Kratos is fantastic. I just wonder how all these groups of gods can coexist

blades of chaos have not been put to rest, it in fact plays a major role in about 50% of the game. also the snake is artreus's son, wrap your head around that one

The Blades of Chaos are, in fact, in the game. Kratos retrieves them later to use in Helheim, and they become a staple of combat.
God of War Ghost of Sparta is AFTER God of War 1, Kratos is already a God when he decides to look for Deimos.
