2024. Still here. Still mesmerized ❤
Whoop whoop
@sarahburtis7110 - the mesmerization continues on into Jan ‘25. Cheers🎉
A high quality version? What what? No way. I’ve been watching this since I was a kid.
Why did I only now discover this guy.
This version of Tenuousness has stuck with me since it came out. It just makes things make sense.
This is still one of my top favorite performances from him.
I've played music on a guitar nearly every day for 24ish years....and I wish I understood the language of music like him In any form of skill or talent....he's a delightful beautiful soul...but I don't know what it would be like to talk to him....I was so stoked when he did left handed kisses in Seattle at the paramount when I got to see him live....man what a show....but I just wish deeply with all my soul for a 2nd wish that I could find people who go to shows with me and enjoy the same wide spectrum of live music I wanna see and maybe I'll meet these friends sooner than later....hahah and for my 3rd wish...well that will just have to wait.
also I really was secretly hoping he would ask me to sing the Fiona apple part of left handed kisses...he's so good....I still wonder though If he would jam with me....
October 2024 and I always come back this performance. - the fact that it got re-uploaded in high Def just made me so darn happy.
Saw him live in someone's house in Minneapolis over 12 years ago, mesmerizing everything in me ❤
Golly, he has a special gift.
That whistling... "Bird" is a very fitting last name.
Still coming back to this years and years later
This is how to write a song with only two chords. Who knew there was beauty in such simplicity. Incredible.
I can't listen to the album version. I listened to this first many years ago, fell in love with the song instantly. When I heard the album version...it doesn't have the delicate beauty this does.
I agree 💯
this man is a living musical GENIUS
After feeling like I needed to read an encyclopedia after first listening to him so many years ago I always get drawn back to this song. It is a cacophony of emotions that help me restart my psyche and get back on track. Andrew Bird really is a set of molecules that sets themselves apart from the rest of our bundled up matter. What a treat.
This artist never ceases to amaze me
Great use of loop pedals. He created a really nice melody.
I'm not crying your crying.....
I heard this many years ago now and I always find my way back somehow. Each layer of sound feels so right. I’m so grateful to have a song that feels like home. ❤
That is one good whistle
So beautiful it breaks my heart
Beautiful. Haunting. Amazing.
Captivating. So moving...
This was a lovely album, thanks Bird, for revisiting it for this rendition!
Just as an FYI, this is a reupload of an old video from around when this album came out. Still amazing, still one of my favorites. Just not a 'revisit'. Have a great day :)
Delightful warm and makes one drift off .. what a masterpiece.
Excelente, brillante, cualquier calificativo se queda corto
God, I adore this human
Masterpiece!
I love this! He is so talented!
I just thought I’d mention I’ve been a lifer with this song and the way you delivered here. I think if you needed to look for friends- your search would end here. I don’t think the world so sincere
Incredible!
Gotta Love Andrew Bird. ❤️🎼
Shared to me by a friend. ❤
Absolutely a favorite live performance its really beautiful
I never watch this performance in this quality. Thanks!
just amazing
Who dared to dislike this video???
I'd love to hear Andrew Bird and Jack White collaboration.
Why? I mean I love jack white but what in your mind brings these two together
Really nice work
loved it!
This is great
Tenuous at best was all he had to say
When pressed about the rest of it, the world that is
From proto-Sanskrit Minoans to Porto-centric Lisboans
Greek Cypriots and harbor sorts who hang around in ports a lot, oh-oh
Here's where things start getting weird
While chinless men will scratch their beards, oh-ho
Tool their minds to sharpened axes
Brushed upon the Uralic syntaxes
Love of hate acts as an axis
Love of hate acts as an axis, oh-oh
First it wanes and then it waxes
So procreate and pay your taxes
Tenuousness less seven comes to three
Tenuous plus 11
Thank the heavens for their elasticity
And that's for those who live and die for astronomy
When Coprophagia was written
Know when to stand or when to sit
Can't stand to stand, can't stand to sit
And who would want to know this?
Click, click
Oh, who wants to look upon this?
Oh, who wants to look upon this pray tell?
Who wants to look upon this?
Oh, who wants to look upon this pray tell?
Pray tell
Tenuousness less seven comes to three
Them, you, us plus 11
Comes just shy of infinity
And that's for those who live and die for numerology
Kind of crazy he was so close to Radiohead here. Two of my favorite favorites
and fleet foxes!!
Thanks so much...
Waiting for Feist now!
Top 5 period.
thank you :)
BLISS! xoxo P
Gosh!🧐
See Bird in the recent season of Fargo? He did well
He was so good!
NICEEE
I wonder what an Andrew Bird - Aldous Harding collaboration would sound like?
🐢💚
“My wordness.”
,dan’
What's he doing at the beginning of the song, it's like he was just trying to remember how it went, lost track or something
Lmao, he was lining up the first beats. Tell me you don't play music without telling me you don't play music 😂
Maybe trying to find the timing
Timing for the rhythm.
Клипует. Кто то ещё это слышит?
Niquilaudlost
One thumbs down. Not me. The first Violin with the bow was tragedy. Singing, guitar, and whistling SUPERB!
Lyrics to die for. Seriously. To live and die for numerology...
See you all later....
Read The Book of Moron.
INTI ILLIIMANI ... sound like..
MERCADO DE TESTACCIO......🎧
