You remind me how unaware is our banks on this. I have an account in one of the major nationalized banks in Trivandrum. Due to a transaction for which bank is also responsible, my CIBIL score went down, and since I knew this, I tried to work with bank to correct. Many times I contacted the bank over an year. They asked me to work with CIBIL directly. One of the funny advice from bank was "NOT TO CHECK CIBIL SCORE FREQUENTLY AS THIS ACTION WILL BRING DOWN THE SCORE. THOUGH I ARGUED WITH HIM, HE WAS NOT READY TO ACCEPT THAT HE WAS WRONG"
