I think when you make videos like this one, they’re super easy to digest cause your explaining to us like if we’re kids, it’s honestly the best way to get your message across
The Delton montage might be my favorite music visualizer , I’m just going to watch that clip on loop. I really enjoy how you’re synthesizing and foraging sounds from organic instruments . Please enjoy all of your success!
I’ve got one of these!! I saw it on Emily’s channel and had to snatch one up immediately. Glad I did since they’re sold out af right now. I like your explanation…it compliments the the things I learned about the pedal from Andrew’s video. There’s several great jam vids out there from other people. I’m just waiting on my PSU so I can power on the darn thing. I can’t wait to pair it with Microcosm on both sides of the chain (Microcosm affecting Habit and Habit effecting Microcosm….they’re my only 2 fancy pedals) and see how it handles a few modular sesh’s on DFAM/Subharmonicon Bundle before seeing how OP-1, bass guitar and eKalimba play
I nabbed a Habit after watching a few videos, including Emily's, but it was definitely Andrew's which was the deciding factor, I'm more into noise and severely mangling sounds and his video gave me some really good ideas of how I'd be able to utilize it in my own work. I also did a big splurge and bought a lightly used Blooper later that same evening, I'd been eyeing it since it was in development, and a friend had highly recommended it to me just a few days before, so it had been on my mind and I just decided "what the hell, I'll get both, it'll be crazy fun".
I was head down in some work, listening to your video in the background and heard 6:37 Thought to myself, oooOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. Look up and see, aaaaaaAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. Those musical moments that hit the feels... universal. Great video, thanks for sharing!
so cool to see someone using the organelle with the habit. I spent maybe a little too much of my time with that combo the other day... the waterfall up/down patches were so good with it!
Hmm, weird... My original first comment got deleted or something. Anyway, what I said was that the spread knob also plays a part of the memory after 11am. Anything before that is a multi-tap delay, but anything after that joins a part of the memory along with Scan. Just wanted to point that out for anyone wanting to know :) there's a small section in the manual that hints at this as well.
I love your music! May I ask what camera you use, and how you color grade? I really like how smooth and bright it looks. I'm guessing it might be a phone or GoPro 10, just because of the depth of field and brightness, but at the same time, it kind of looks too "expensive" for that to be the case
Hey bad snacks thanks so much for the great video! Do you have any acoustic treatment in your room? Your voice sounds super crisp and clean! Also what mics are you using for this particular video! Thanks for all the inspiration over the years

Great explanation of the pedal. And wow is it beautiful with the violin.
Really lovely textures with harp there. Quite enchanting.
Thank you for the excellent demonstration on how this works.
Awesome tour, would love to come to the SF show! Saving the date :D

Such sweet sounds! Gear will come and go, but that chair will always remain.
I get into a mesmerized state and forget most everything
Thanks for sharing! Looking forward to your next album.
Just bought tix to your show in May at Elsewhere sooooo EXCITED!
I don't have a show in April but I'll see you in May or June!
Suuuuper dope!
Nothing simple about that mix, Snacks. Well maybe to you. Sounds cool, and the explanation and demos of the pedal were grrr8. Good luck with the tour.
Hell yeah, happy bloops.
Love this video, great to see a variety of input sources getting the Habit treatment
Really cool video! Thank you :)
I love it!…everything!..now you my Habit!…and wonder!..)
beautiful sounds.
Love the shout out to Emily Hopkins, just discovered her
buying for my bass guitar rig
this is one of the best demos I've ever seen. The musicality and skill is astonishing :o
Thanks for creating amazing music :)
this is gold!
Wow the beat came out nice!!! I'm gonna try out guitar pedals one day!
This seams like such a unique pedal, I just wish it was stereo.
her mario lets go 😂
Wow that's nuts.
ALSO can we please have a link to that damn chair. It's honestly the best part of your whole set up.
what a combo, so dreamy! and whaaaat --- see you on 6/10!
I love my organellle. You gotta download mellotron preset.
I have it!! It’s great. My organelle is def my ride or die lil synth.
you should try the Montreal Assembly Count to 5!
I love your music!

I love it when a producer finds a groove they like and the stank face comes out
How are you preamping the Violin? I have Habit but can't workout out the best/ easiest way to run my cello through it?
nice! will there be a tour of new studio
I am moving again soon so unfortunately I don't think so lol
Have you considered maybe you're good snacks
God that last beat was fire!
i have not considered it no

Let's a go😄
“And that is really basically it”😂
Between this and the Theramae….which is better?
Nice demo. Quick question on the harp section: Microcosm into Habit or Habit into Microcosm?
for this one, microcosm into habit!!
What the fuck. Strange sounds, but it's amazing. Really really cool.
It would be sooo cool if you played a minecraft song on harp with the Habit on
bad snacks mood music ambient LP when
Should have let that beat ride a little longer. Dem drums!
Electronic harp. damn that's new
Do you make beats?
Hair’s looking great, miss snacks!
500 bucks for this? God damn no.
It's $350 USD... and worth it because there's really nothing out there that does what habit does especially on the spread / scan memory side.
