not all family business
Stop narrating! I want to listen to them lmao
I sill think raid is a dumb app and a scam but im less angry now
I was in middle school around the time this show was huge, and even back then I felt like Pauly was the backbone building all the bikes, staying out in the shop, and coming up with some pretty original cool ideas. This video even shows Sr’s desk empty af, nothin goin on, and the phone silent. I use to figure it was just “good organization skills” by Sr. 😂 but yeah I always felt like he was projecting since he was rarely touching any bikes or fully coming up with design aspects etc etc
"If I wasn't involved, this place would go to shit" Paulie "Nostradamus" Teutel.
...and, sure enough...
Yep. That about does it.
bikes for people who don't ride.
the ones who ride dont have money
@@roidster4401 what the hell are you talking bout? Harlies are expensive as hell It takes a lot of money to ride
Cope
Looks like a lot of these Bikes were for show purposes only, and when you've got big "Stars" waiting on them, then, yeah... deadlines have to be met.
It was absolutely tragic, though, watching what happened between Sr. & Jr. Behind the scenes, they may have still loved each other very much. However: Business is business.
I'm glad to hear that Jr. Is doing well with his Company, Paul Jr. Designs. As for his Pops, Sr., I heard that he's now living in Florida.
I wish everyone that has ever been involved with OCC the absolute best in this life. It was kinda like watching your own Family. Dysfunctional, but still a Family.
Paul sr is a homosexual
"If I wasn't involved then this place would go to shit" - JR ...
So he gets terminated but stayed for production & all limped along. When Jr officially walked away, everything walked away with him - the show, the business, the family dynamic.
Turns out Jr was absolutely correct, of course in fights he always said what his father did but he also wanted his father to admit to his son's importance, Sr never would admit to Jr's importance & needed role, that was the destruction of OCC.
Paul sr never gave a fuck about his son, he never showed up at his sons wedding, tries to sue his son for ruining his business. Sr is one messed up old man
@@trentonallen6965 Very true, and the only times that he reached out to do anything were always with cameras running & always wanted to build a bike together for big cash rewards not just getting back to basics as father and son. Sad, really sad.
Point number One here, and maybe it's the best point that I'll make here: Even though things appear to have improved between Sr. & Jr , the farther these two are, away from each other, the better!
Point number Two:As we can see, this show was GREAT-for a little while. After that, things really fell through the proverbial floor, as it concerned the ratings, and Sr. was allegedly exposed for bankruptcy several times over the years, and it's alleged that he even underpaid his workers, which is clearly illegal. If this is true, did anybody ever go after him for that? I would have!
If I were to pick which one to ever work for, Jr's. got my vote:Hands down! I'd work for him any day! Even if it was just helping to keep his Shop and Office (Or whatever!), clean, he could count on me! I don't have a lot of mechanical experience, but I can clean up, from top to bottom, and make it look like it was brand-spankin' new! Even at 60, goin' on 61, years of age, even if I literally died on the job, I'd be as faithful as an old dog! After all: Isn't that what being faithful is all about? One thing, too, is that Paul Jr. and I, are both Christians. That's an added bonus for me, right there! To be working for a Brother in Christ:To me-That says it all!!!
I'm surprised this didn't lead up to a handicap match at WrestleMania.
😂😂
That reminds me of my Dad and I. We never could do anything together with out a fight. In these "fight" videos of OCC I've never seen Senior lay a hand on Jr. My Dad did. My wife happened to be there at that time and restrained me as I was going to hit back. She kept yelling at me while holding on to my arm not to hit him back. I didn't. She said "if you do you'll forever regret it". Glad I listened to her. But the arguments never stopped. He was 94 and still was trying to kick my ass over something I never did. He told me to get out and to never come back as I was no son of his. I did. Never saw him again for the next 3 years til he passed peacefully in his bed reading the newspaper. But somehow through all of those years of fights I still loved him and would have done anything for him. He found out that I didn't do what he accused me of. All he had to do was to call...I waited...but he never did.
Yea. My dad and I fought when working together constantly. I never thought he had a clue and he resented how much I learned without him. It ruined us. The day he died I was filled with regret and shame. That was nearly 8 years ago. I haven't been the same since he died.
I was reading a reddit ama and sr mentioned him and Paul work on projects still time to time.
Damn. Your dad was a dick.
This is so sad , i hope my sons will be there with me when i pass
My dad and me argue. But he never apologizes even when he was wrong. I always thought that he was too proud. One day my girlfriend explained to me that fathers will almost never apologize. Its their nature. But he loves you a lot. Many things she explained to me about my dad and our relationship that i never knew existed and that he loved me in his way. She gave me a few examples of this that i never noticed. She had the prespective of an outsider.
Bottom line is we love each other...but neither of us really shows it.
I want to know what their interior door budget was during this series.
My dad and I asked that exact question back when the show was on lmao!!!!!
Must've easily been tens of millions of dollars...& maybe a lot more than that!
They built a bike for Will Smith? Good thing they built it on time or Will will slap Jr and Sr in the face
And...after that, Sr. & Jr. take a little time away from their differences, and go after him like two huge nests of extremely angry Hornets, too!!!!!
Paul Sr reminds me of my dad, always wanting control over everything and wanting all things to be perfect his way and telling me that I’m not ready to move out because I don’t have enough money to help me through it, bullshit I do
Nah. I imagine Paul Sr would be the type of guy to kick kids out at a certain age or call them bums if they don't.
@@guywiththebottle Maybe, but he wanted them in the family businnes and like the other guy said, he also wants to control everything...
Sounds like you need to grow up
Senior ONLY cared about how fast you can get the bike done. Does NOT care about quality OR design, just get it done. Junior was an artist and IS an art. Every design, every part had to be perfect, quality, care, love. Always hit the deadline, Senior never took that into consideration, would scream and berate every project about timeline . Without Junior OCC was NOTHING. Confirmed when he was fired OCC became NOTHING!!
He’s got a business to run and a deadline
Yep! After Jr. left, the ratings started going down the ol' tube, like poo going down the toilet! It didn't take too long, either. The show may have held it's own for a while, but after that-Nah!
Discovery Channel accidentally stumbled into a huge Hornet's Nest, and they must've been scrambling to find a way to bring some workable kind of levity to what was left, after Jr. was terminated.
Didn't work...
Warning at the start of every American Chopper episode: " Lots of chairs, doors and drywall were harmed in the making of this video "
Unfortunately my father and I fight just like them lol. We live rightq across the street from the old shop in Montgomery. Must be something in the water.
Is there anything at the old shop now?
@@WilleJamesHuff yeah there's a small company that manufacturers something.
Paulie was quite the primadonna early on but definitely right in the end.
It's the most serious program on discovery, i always think this fights with father and son could be a fake, but i was totally wrong.
2:17 Anyone notice the sign by the window that says "CAUTION DAD IS IN BAD MOOD"?
I just noticed that 😂😂
Sr was always in a bad mood
With how much time has past. Paul Jr’s statement about how Sr would be the ultimate reason of the companies downfall is proving to be true, which is sad. Im sympathetic towards Sr. I think he (hopefully) regrets how it all turned out. I think he should have someone run the day to day operations and should start transitioning towards retirement. That might save the business and give him more time with his kids, grandkids, and living a happier life.
Paul Sr with an helmet, smiling, waiting for Junior to smash the window, LOL!
The most replayed clip is right after the Raid ad. 😂
Sounds like Paul Sr. needs some serious anger management.
all good things unfornately come to an end, ive gone through this exact type of thing this year and had to walk out of my job. and i had to say what paul jr said, good its about time... nature of the beast
Building Custom bikes is crazy...😂
Why do people think it's uncommon for family fighting like this working together? This is the reason I don't work with family because we know how to get on each other's nerves fast
Imagine having a real passion, or real hobby and you live it everyday in a large shop like the setting here in this show.
Dont make much sense to let it all go unless they got burned out with it or just got tired of it.
I mean also imagine following your passion for bikes but also having to keep fighting with your literal family like that on live television for millions to see. Nope. Never.
I remember seeing Jr tighten forks with a giant adjustable wrench no idea how much to torque it, should have stuck with building fencing or open a pawn shop.
I loved this show as a kid damn I miss my childhood
Jessie james bikes are built for going out to bike shows in the midwest and back to the east coast shows as well
9:59 Me when my teacher told me to clean the class:
XD
That poor family: to this day I don't think they have any idea that it was the producers of that show that pitted them against each other just for views and drama.
Lol poor Mikie guy is given everything in his life and cries when someone makes fun of him a little
Every time I watched them build those bikes, I'm sitting there thinking “man, it’s going to SUCK for whomever actually rides it!” Often enough, no shocks, gauges or cushions of any kind. Only good for looking at.
Bike building skills AND fighting skills lol 😆
I was in late elementary school and early middle school watching these guys grow from a small business to business headquarters
If I wanted to learn about a video game I would have searched for a video game.
Looks like a great work environment 🙃
Ahh the good old days
i used to get this mad i had tell a lot of people i'm sorry too now these days i'm more clam down
My work place is opposite. My boss kids are the laziest, she so protective of them and we get all the blame
I can only imagine that working there must have been kind of a nightmare.
Does anybody know where can I find the full episodes of all these fights lol ?
As an employee I would never want to work with those two clowns.
I bet you people queued up to be an intern back in the day.
I was in a band with my Uncle. He was exactly like Senior. Always talking to you like you are a failure or going to fail. I finally told him to fck off and get out of my life.
You might enjoy watching The Sopranos where the lead character Tony Soprano argues with his uncle Corrado Soprano!!!
Is that a dab pen at 8:55 or a tool? Can’t really make out wht it is.
If these people didn't get so angry so quickly (*cough* senior) then they would get somewhere with their arguments.
Honestly the chopper fad was going to die out. I mean I still do and always will think they pull almost all the weight for cool factor of all motorcycles. All two wheelers follow in their shadow and it’s precisely American. But it was gonna run its course. This should have been foreseen and some type of structure laid out to remain breathing with some type of dignity.
Wow you really felt you needed to explain the video while the video is playing
I liked the part where the narrator repeated what everyone just said.
One reason in my eyes to why shit don't get done is because SR doesn't know when to shut up
I don't understand how Sr. created TWO successful businesses. OCC & OCIW
OCIW was not successful. It was saddled with debt when SR owned it. They tried to defraud the creditors by changing the name from OC Ironworks to Orange County Ironworks LLC and transferring ownership to Dan Teutul (See the slight difference in the name? ) Dan was legally found liable for the debt SR incurred. It only became successful after Dan took over and SR was long gone.
Great TV show.
My father was gonna have a bike built from them and it was a standard fatboy basic. They were charging 80,000 and it was gonna take 2-4 months to build. Immediatly we thought this was obsured and ridicilous so we left and never looked back. Also we heard from a good source that sr and jr were only there during filming 3 days a week. Never there otherwise. Total crap operation
I mean who wants to be involved with a Richard Cranium who is never happy about what you do for the guy, anyway?
This looks like a job for Jerry Springer
How to tell someone isnt a gamer when they call Raid Shadow Legends a fighting game
If narration is required, than do it at the end
As to the game advertisement, what are you, 12?
The only true reality show to ever exist. No scripts, no planned dialogue no nothing. MTV ruined the reality genre but this was the one and only, real deal
Lol why do you explain the video clip each time like I didn't just watch it myself?
for sure the employees were tired of all that drama so quit
I figured
I'd have quit too. Way too much drama.
I feel bad for the doors.
9:18 It would have been EPIC if Jr. came to the office, visible hangover, eating a sandwich, and told senior "what the F do you want, jackass?!"
Senior destroyed it all
Sacrificing one's own family to the quota - it's all about money in this America. For me as a European, it is incomprehensible how one can submit to Mammon to such an extent.
why is there a man narrating a play by play of this
Don't do steroids Kidz!😂
Nobody clicks on this to see a video
game review….
paul sr seems like a hot head
Dang man I mean I got my hulk hogan mustache, I'm king I'm perfect everything has to be my way, I correct what's being said because I'm better than everyone. Sr people don't ask for improvement advice if they are not wrong, it's the way it is no matter what you say about it. ✌️
Sadly I don't think these "fights" were staged
They weren’t, Senior was on steroids and HGH at the time, that’s why he was going into “roid rage “
I didn't get the Brazil joke. Could someone please explain me?
I think they were just telling him to fuck off and gave a random reason
Watching that silly old man trying to act tough is ....well cute I guess.
Jr and vinny made sr im not saying he should of kissed there asses but he should of respected them more but old school fathers dont wanna hear that and its the reason why relationships fail with them
dont need you to explain what happened a minute before
Junior built OCC . His designs and it was junior with the help of Vinny in the beginning who built OCC. Senior ruined it. It was up to senior he would take stock parts off the shelves send it out for a nice paint job and charge $150,000.
If Paul would have helped out or something most of the fights wouldn't happen
Which Paul?
@@guywiththebottle Sr
Sr,is definitely main problem
This show would’ve gotten zero ratings if it wasn’t for the temper tantrum’s and the fights. They made millions off of being man-babies.
THE ARGUING AND FIGHTING WAS DUMB WAY TO RUN A BUISNESS SHOWING PAUL JR WAS BEST EVER BUILDER
I ask myself, how can it be that people are so much talented, but do not recognize it is better to separe and go own ways!
Stupid to make such a horror in full sight of the camera.
what the shit I can't even hear the clips its just some guy talking
Damn can we hear the actual fight ? FFS
When this show came out. I was starting out as a mechanic. The drama drove me nuts. Sr was the typical baby boomer who would throw things and run around like a chicken. I had to work under these tards for years. These old farts would retire 2010 range. I lost respect for these guys when they took a tour of the Ford factory. They were screwing around and were disrespectful. Used to watch Jessie James also at this time. When I would meet people. They would assume my shop was the same high drama as these shows. It was an actually embarrassing. Things are way different now. Most people are treated with respect and yelling and screaming is not tolerated anymore.
Let me tell you how bad I felt for Junior having a father as ignorant and hurtful as Paul Senior. That man just never got it. His belief in design bikes is put in stock parts from the shelf onto the bike and then charging $150,000.. But wasn’t for Junior Paul Senior would not have his house, cars, and everything else. Paul Senior is a horrible boss, and even a worse father and husband
Occ on camera was a absolute train wreck. Viewers that watched clearly wanted to see the drama between the family. Most hardcore bikers didnt like the bikes or this company
Sad but true soon as Jr left went to shit
These would be great if this guy didn’t narrate the video. It’s self explanatory.
I know, talks over all of the fights and doesn’t even let them play out! Pointless video.
9:14
The problem with this show.... It ended.
Hahahahaha
at 8;00 i gotta completely agree with SR. Mikey has been totally worthless the whole entire time he was involved with the show.....didnt contribute anything....
Good thing you announced over the actual segments or we'd have had to actually hear them. Jesus...
Why do you have to talk?
Just downloaded Raid!!! I love it
They play like Holliwood episodes
“Holliwood”?? It’s “Hollywood” did you never do English class when you were in school or are you just acting stupid for fun?
The drama seems mostly fake. You can see him smiling as he unplugs it. Its so fake
😭
Mike always here for you pauljr Paul Sr my son's when can we get together when you read this call me
Thanks for the 10 min advertisement. I did enjoy the video until your stupid Raid ad
I guess even rich people argue
