You can't beat what it was in the '60's and '70's. Today there isn't any loyalty, honor and brotherhood like back then. Us greybeards today still live that way.
I’m sure everybody who writes about being in a motorcycle club myself included has found that it’s hard to describe being a member of a club. It’s more of a feeling than something tangible you can put in the words.
Bike riders was a great movie! Loved it! Watched it 2 times! Salute 2 the Chicago outlaws! Jimmy & cockroach was my favorite characters. Now is just me or is the kid who killed Jimmy supposed 2 be TACO BOWMAN? I would love 2 see a spin off of Harry taco Bowman story. That would be great!
You freaking cracked me up when You said that You hope that it doesn't start people dressing up in the Vandals Costumes all over the freaking place! 😂😂😂😂 That's Class Man🤣🤣🤣🤣👍🤘😎🏴
You know it, I lived the era, and that's when men were macho whether toxic or not. The masculine, politically incorrect crap. They push Ken of Barbie fame. This was a refreshing piece of real history. Loved it. Thanks man.
Loving your Chanel dude. I’m also reading one of your books. Really enjoying it. Although I’m an old timer (65) I’m new to the MC world. 5 years. Been a full patch member of Crusaders Brotherhood MC for just 12 months. So much of what you say about club politics rings true with me. I’ll be watching The Bikeriders and I’ll let you know my thoughts. It’s from the era I identify with. I have no interest in being covered in bling ect like todays crowd. I love the old grizzled look, cuts covered in road grime….jeans that never get washed…the bikes…the music…all of it. I’m wondering if the Norman Redus character is based in some way on Terry the Tramp.? Would love to know the truth behind his death, and the disappearance of Tiny. ✊👊🏻
Just seen it. Welll... First of all it differs a lot from this MC original story. In reality Johnny was alive for a long time after, he divided the club and eventually left. He passed 2018, as far as I know. Benny really wasn't a main guy at all, it just so because the story was taken from his wife. Actually, there are almost no pictures of him in the book. He's still alive, but inactive in the MC. Katy, as far as I know, passed away not so long ago. Funny Sonny remarried about 10 times, and was active in his MC for a long time. Passed in 2010. So the movie is good as a separate story, and cannot be compared or related to the original story about the MC the Bikeriders are written about.
Good luck on your new podcast. You should reach out to George Christie. He's recently showed up with Demons Row and Michael Franzese. I have always felt you were fair and honest and the two of you would be a good interview.
hey you know anything about funny sonny i heard about sonny the outlaw before i heard the song my whole life since i was a lil kid but that was a different sonny the funny sonny was a ha member right i heard when he went backto cali he was beaten to death once he started talking about hanging out with the outlaws but do you know anything about him
I dont believe a damn thing the "Critics" have to say. They are nothing but paid Hollywood Shrills. I find that the opposite is usually true if the critics hate the movie I find I generally enjoy it. My concern is it is being narrated from the old lady's point of view. That can horribly wrong in so many ways. Ol Ladies aren't club members and at that point were kept in the dark. We will see
facts rotten tomatoes is bullshit! all critics are full of shit giving oscars for political expedience of some weird communist agenda instead of the best movie..
I visitors my Moms for her big Decade bday in Palm Springs and both out gens thought a good movie. Also both disappointed they didn’t give Austin more of a character and the fact he was walking fine a year later after the ankle was crushed was the only wth point.
HW how are you I think they should show more of the good times and not all the killing I got a hd Sportster since last time I commented on here and new fb account
Saw it last night. It was filmed in the neighborhood I grew up in. Pretty surreal to know virtually every filming location in a movie. A couple buddies were extras too, so that was cool..for me. Anyhow, it’s just alright. The characters had no depth and the story was somewhat boring. The old bikes were cool. In the end it just solidified stereotypes about bikers. Kinda acted like anyone who came in after 1975 were a bunch of violent murderous rapists.. I’ll have more to say in a few weeks. No spoilers.
And it’s a crappy love story at that. It’s got great costumes, and good acting but it’s a terrible MOVIE, AND WORSE ITS BORING. nothing happens at all til the last 5 minutes then they expect us to care.

Just finished it. Good book !
I'm stoked to see it myself. I wish they'd make more biker movies like they used to.

Right!!
Might try to see it this weekend.
They shredded Shawshank redemption. Prison movie. Oooooo. Now it’s a classic. This will be the same 🤞

See it in the theater…worth it. It was fun and cool and respectful of the 1%ers with the source material they had to work with.
I didn’t like it. They actually ride maybe 3 minutes of the movie. 60% of the film, is them sitting and talking in cars. I hated it.
Anyone know about the Lucero connection and Ben?
Sittin on ✌️ doin what we do

I can't wait to see it personally

Needs to make $100 million to break even and it’s not going to😢😢😢

Its the Hollywood movie industry way. The most prominent characters need to be Women now days.
Ive seen alot of people say that the movie sucked, just fuckers trying to look like models.
Yea i really didnt like it. It’s all talking and barely any riding.
Going to be a badass movie
I visitors my Moms for her big Decade bday in Palm Springs and both out gens thought a good movie. Also both disappointed they didn’t give Austin more of a character and the fact he was walking fine a year later after the ankle was crushed was the only wth point.
At least its rated R
Idk how. It’s 90% talking and sitting in cars.
You didn't really expect the "strait" citizens to give our culture a fair shake, now did you??
I saw it today and liked the movie.
You pay "The Man" either way 😂

the film was excellent
I don't see how you can condemn reviews of a movie that you haven't seen!. I haven't seen it, so I have no opinion myself.
I watched it already. It’s a love story flop… it’s a horrible movie and the original production company dropped it should tell you everything
And it’s a crappy love story at that. It’s got great costumes, and good acting but it’s a terrible MOVIE, AND WORSE ITS BORING. nothing happens at all til the last 5 minutes then they expect us to care.
Lmao
Great....now the S.O.A. Nation is gonna patch over to the Vandals.
😮

WOODS,YOU WAS AN 15.
It was decent
Movies are all just for entertainment anyway. Aren't they? Or is this one about real life...like Pulp Fiction...or Hellride 😮😂
Know a friend who has just seen it and said it is gash and not worth wasting your time with
I personally didn't enjoy the movie I went home before it was over. of all the biker movies I have ever seen this was my least favorite
That movie kinda sucked
Yep. It was very boring and there weren’t barely any motorcycle scenes.
As soon as I seen that tom hardy was in it i was in he won't be part of some woke bs
