I'm still hitting myself in the head for not liking this stuff sooner. I love being a brony and Aviators makes some of the best music with not just MLP but everything. I love you Aviators, I love your music and everything.
Last BronyCon I had listened to two Aviators albums and an EP and quite enjoyed them, so I was looking forward to seeing him on stage. I was extremely disappointed, and just felt lost because he was playing songs I was unfamiliar with. So, more recently I purchased every Aviators album (all his paid ones total like $60) and downloaded all the free ones and just finished listening to every single Aviators song listed on Bandcamp. I can say with certainty now that Aviators is a mixed bag, and his music runs the full gambit from assaults on the ears to beautiful, catchy, soulful melodies (it's weird to think the same person that did Monsters also did In Wonder). So, I decided to watch the video from Bronypalooza, now that I am familiar with all his songs, and have a few thoughts:1. I'm surprised how short his set was. I walked out around Red and had a great time listening to Pony Karaoke, and I'm surprised I actually only missed one song.2. The audio levels are messed up, but I think that was a problem with the original performance. Listening to this live often had ear-bleeding loud instrumentals drowning out his vocals. In this video, now I don't need to worry about it being too loud, but especially in the quieter songs you can barely hear the vocals.3. What's with the video cutting out a few places?4. None of these were horrible songs, but they are all bottom of my personal list when it comes to Aviators songs. My favorite songs are his more chill, relaxed songs like In Like A Lion, In Wonder, Constellations, Specters, Dragonheart, Angels and Demons, and Rock the World. Open Your Eyes is pretty cool, but Never Back Down is close to the bottom of my list with it's "A Wild Rapper Appears" interlude.
I was in this crowd and I think I can hear myself screaming a few times. AVIATORS FTW!!! :D

18:00 Was the most fun song to play with Aviators. The bass riff is so fun and the synths sounded amazing in the venue.

I wish there was Yelling At Cats, instead of this rapping guy. I miss him a lot :(
