Claire is so stinking cute! My daughter found pink princesses at her grocery store, she’s coming home this weekend so she will be bringing me a pink princess! Super excited because my recent trips to the big box stores have been disappointing. This weekend we will be visiting our favorite nurseries. Super excited to see her and have my plant shopping buddy. ❤️

I found Lemon Meringue Pothos and Pink Princess at Lowe's in Indian Land, SC. There are five more Pink Princess, but no more Lemon Meringues because I took the only one. These are on a rolling cart. I put them out front because they were hard to find. $19.98 each.
I finally found White Wizards at Walmart. There were 3. They all looked kinda sad so I sweet talked the manager into giving me 2 for 50% off. Score! They are totally salvageable. I did repot them as soon as I got home though because I do not like the coco coir soil Costa Farms uses. (Much love to Claire Bear…new channel mascot!)

@@miranda9391 Haha! Well one of them was pulled out of the soil laying on top and when the manager rang me up he gave me both at 50% off. I wasn’t expecting the one, but when you are nice it goes a LONG way. He wished me luck with both and sent me on my way. 🙂

I got the silver stripe pothos from leafjoy...(they call it) the $30 ones and it came with a coco coir pole...it is massive...found Tuesday! I went for it! Claire is such a cutie sporting her harness!
I looooove the clearance plants! I love watching them come back to life with half the money, than buy at full price and have them die. 🤣🤣
I noticed that the wick watered plants had many of them showing the wick not down in the water tray. I assume it's from shoppers picking them up to look at the plants and not putting them back correctly so that the wick is down in the tray of water. I hope that you can make a comment to your viewers to always make sure that they put the pots back with the wicks down in the trays. Some of those plants left incorrectly may die from lack of water. I enjoy watching your shopping videos. My stores never get the latest new plants so it's fun to see all the great plants that you find. Take care.

The commenter might have been me! I didn't see the PPP or the silver streak, those might have been put out after I left. The half moon one was nice! I went to Pike's after and found a 4 inch pot of begonia maculata for around $7!
I also just made a trip to Big Bloomer's after seeing Plant Heartbeats' video of her trip a couple of weeks ago, and they had some amazing stuff! Loads of rare philodendrons, succulents, etc. I came home with euphorbia platyclada, raphidophora cryptanthus, rhipsalis paradoxa, the elephantotis (sp?) staghorn, and more. I resisted the more expensive ficus shivereana, philodendron gigas, ring of fire, PPP, Florida ghost, etc. lol.

Ashley I found a highly variegated jade at Walmart the other day they had gotten a big shipment of succulents in a lot I’ve never seen just in the process of looking them all up I did get a kalenchoe chocolate soldier and golden kalanchoe

I've been impressed with the variety of Phals I've seen at Home Depot and Lowes lately, and always worth smelling the blooms to see if they're fragrant. I found a fragrant mini Phal back in November, it has a lemony scent. I'm intrigued by Alocasia, especially the silver dragons you were finding.

I found a silver streak amplissimum about a year ago at a local plant shop for $10 for 2 good size plants per pot. I got 2 to make a full pot. One plant died off but the other three are growing like crazy once I figured it out. It’s about 12 ft from a east/south window under a diffused grow light. I water it once a month and it’s in a chunky soil mix, not the crap costa farms sells plants in.

I found a Philodendron Mayoi at Home Depot today and a Spineless Cactus at Walmart.
Too bad Ashley, we are not getting what your getting. I’m in Northern Virginia not far from Potomac Mills Mall. Our big box don’t have those plant if ever maybe 2 of a kind. Lucky you enjoy and happy shopping.😅
I understand moving the plants so others can see but as Lowes workers we could get in trouble for them not being stocked in the right spot so just be mindful! We have to stock it the way we are told even if it’s not the most helpful way. But I totally get it, I would love to see those plants too!

My Walmart only has outdoor plants right but😢 but I did find I think it's a pink dragon alocasia at my grocery store. Not sure but it has those pinkish long stems with deep green leaves. I love it.
I’m still jealous of your tremendous box store selection. Here in Pensacola Florida we hardly have any unusual surprises like you do and the size of the tropical sections are very small. Enjoy the fun and I’ll keep looking to see things I might try to find another way

my Walmart in California got a lot of silver streak last week and there's still like 5 left. I guess no one around here knows what a good plant is. but they will pay 25 for a small pink princess. I gave mine away. don't really like it after all. I had a big one that I ordered from costa farms online

I just got that same pothos at Walmart! Some of them had a clearance sticker on them (no idea why) so I swapped the sticker onto a nicer plant and got it for $10!

Most of the finds on big box shopping trip videos I see on RUclips are regional. There's nothing remotely as nice in stock here in TX.
It can vary from store to store within the same region, too. I live in the same greater metro area as Ashley, and every shop I visit will have different stock. Took visiting 5 Lowe's to find my squamiferum lol.
