I went to Home Depot to buy plant accessories fir my plant babies and over $106 dollars i was hurting because theybwhre so over priced but sure needed them. There was a dollar tree around area stoped out of whimp and guess what all or almost all where there and only $25 dollars. Back to return at Home depot!!!!!!!!!
The plant supplies at DT are such a great value! Dollar General also has good deals on plant supplies at the end of the season. Thank you for taking us along!
I buy the ring clips every year, they are super helpful for staking tomatoes and peppers. I've used the fertiliser stakes too, I usually divide one in half and put a piece on each side of the pot. I also bought the plant base with wheels last year, they did great for moving my big pots around the balcony when rotating my tomatoes. So much easier than breaking my back trying to move my large planters!
Fun video, Ashley, many thanks! I bought several of the black trellises in early spring and even though the wire is not thick, it works just fine and it makes it easier to bend to the circumference of the pot. I like the scoops as well. I got a bag of the smaller clips and they work great. So glad you did this video! 👌🪴🥰
You will like the clips! I have used every last one and was just thinking I need more! The little pink scoops look great too! I hope I find them.....love all those trays you showed and prop boxes.....I am going to stop on pay day! Exciting
I have been impressed with Dollar Tree's plant and garden stuff, this year I got 12 of the stackable 3 tier planters in a mix of green and terracotta for $15 giving me two towers for strawberries and very cool large bell cloches with closures on the top. Lots of other things. You've given me some good ideas
I hit them up every single year for alternatives to nursury pots and other supplies. There are some great finds to be had, especially if you want to craft/paint your own pots as gifts!
I found the plant Velcro ties on TEMU, 3 rolls for $3.28. I also found pot hole screens for the bottom of your flower pot to keep the dirt from falling out. Lots of cool planty stuff on TEMU, also.
You make me want to shop at every store you go to lol. Your enthusiasm and excitement is contagious!!😅💚 I bought a put hugger last month. A cute turtle lady with a straw garden hat on a ladder. My granddaughters adore "Miss Maybell".🤗 She hangs on my big whale fin pot. I also got those snips and for $1.25 they aren't bad but the "heavy duty" ones...pass. Definitely got what I paid for but it's always worth a try. I haven't see the new $5 section (competing with Dollar General & $5 Below I guess) but hope my store catches up. They just renovated the inside so maybe it was to prepare for more "expensive" merch?🤷🏽♀️
I get the clear cups and poke holes in them with a soldering iron for small clear nursery pots. I love being able to see the roots especially with fresh propagations I've potted up.
I love the 4-packs of glass bowls to put over solar lights to protect the panels/make them look like little lamps. And they're great in the kitchen or course. Temu has some great garden things, like plant velcro, at great prices. The Jobes stakes are great; I've used them for years (and uised to pay MUCH more) I have mostly outdoor plants and was lucky to find some, but I've used the indoor as well,
Those large S hooks are amazing, I’ve been searching my area stores for them this season after getting a few last year. Highly recommend for hanging plants.
The water globes are ok. Hard to get the water in cause you have to move them around while filling them to get the air to come out, then when you insert them in your pot soil get jammed into the stem. Pretty tho. Maybe you'll like them. Also, the round wreath frames work good for trellises, you can use metal cutters and cut a section and bend it to fit into the pot. Love your videos!
I love the kneeling pad. I use one when kneeling on the hot cement cleaning out the filter baskets around the pool. I have one in my car. My cat loves it too. She likes to scratch on it
As an alternative to the flimsy plant saucers, go to the party supplies and look at the clear and translucent colored plates. Much more heavy duty and the count is the same or nearly similar.
Thanks for the idea of using the seashell form as a trellis! I think I have a starfish from last year I could also use. I don't like wreaths, so that's a MUCH better use!
I personally had bought the soul - it says for proper drainage and support - and is an excellent soil - I mixed w perlite - moss -ext . I went back and got some more - not heavy at all. I use the slim wine glass for propagate any plant - looks fancy - lol w the rectangular silver or gold plastic underneath it . And when doesn’t rain for a few days , I also fill water in those color baskets w handle w water - wait 24 hrs. for the chlorine to evaporate- ( if is good for my fishes is good enough for my plants !❤️🩹)
When we get our Pensions, I am going to the Dollar store again, to see what they have new. I bought some things while ago, but they were out of the clear saucers, in the sizes I needed. They are so expensive in other stores.
Thank you so much for leading me to Big Bloomers, we travel between our home in western NC and topsail island several times a year, now its a stop we never miss . I love the ability to buy most items in 4” pots, I have several bread racks that are perfect for small plants, 30 per flat
Love their stuff! I even got some flower bulbs that are coming up. Love the plant pots too and even got some metal hanging baskets with the fiber inserts, but those sold out fast.
The water bulb works best if you water well before you fill & place it. I use wine bottles for my large outdoor plants. Just poke a few holes in the lid & poke it into the soil. Be sure it's stable.
I buy a lot of the little plastic pots to pop up propagations to sell. At Valentines they have the heart shaped wire wreath that I have used for a trellis. The flower seeds are a really deal too.
Wow so many great ideas! I never thought of going to the Dollar Tree. I just purchased a bunch of pots, I've discovered I don't like, from Lowe's for more than twice the price. They were the least expensive ones there, which is why I got them. Thank you SO much!!
I found Gardening Pins at a Dollar Tree, and wish I would have bought more than one, because I haven't seen them since. They're really helpful when potting propagations.
That seashell trellis was marked down to .25 cents at my DT last year along with the mermaid tail trellis… ya bet I grabbed a few! I’m putting them to work in my garden now and it adds a nice hint of color!
Wish I had thought of DT for a trowel and shears. But I will def look for other supplies there. I'm a newbie to plants so getting started has been a lot.
I made the mistake of getting those little Huggers for their plants and most of them don't even last very long but they are cute I'm glad you went to Dollar Tree so I can see what they have
Thank you for your awesome channel. So much fun. I had a philodendrum root literally ground itself on my area rug not too long ago. I had to pull it out. Lol!
Guuuuuuuuurl, I was in there this past Tuesday. 04/24/24. I purchased a hanging shelf to put my plants on a lots of other stuff for plants. It is going to be a jungle up in this piece.
You will like the water steak you got , it's plastic, my glass ones broke after about 6 months after my son bought them for me they just started braking 😢 but I will have to get me some plastic ones 🎉 thanks for the video 😊
I use 2 at a time on the clear Saucer pot holders, That way they're not so flimsy , and i'm not spending a lot on saucers. I also like to use them because then I can bottom water. And I don't have to worry about water spilling if i'm using the real terracada saucers.
I love the shell thing I would have got at least one. I tried the fertiliser sticks years ago they were not cheap and did go moldy which put me off trying them again
I buy dollar tree bowls for succulents, you can buy a diamond bit and tile bit set at harbor freight for less than $20. In. Seconds i have a nice pot that would cost $5-8 dollars for $1.25, how to videos are out there
Thanks for nice video. I hate to break it to you but Dollar General still has most of the stuff DT sells for $1.25 for $1.00. AND they put their stuff on sale. Soooo some older stuff is .50. I slept on DG too. Their things may also be of better quality. DT is still my store but please do compare. DT is NOT always the best choice for craft and small garden supplies price, selection or quality wise. Also they did have the clear tray it was covered. You missed it. Those swivel planter trays are probably the best deal, as they can easily be upgraded to be used as a lazy Susan anywhere in the home or garden. ❤
The water bulb needs to be placed at a certain angle to work correctly. So do little research there because my memory sucks and I dont want to tell you the wrong angle. 🤦🏼♀️😂
I enjoyed video found it interesting and informative..i believe its called corporate greedflation, they have to get their million dollar bonus yearly..sighhh

I'm so glad I watched this! The amount of money I could have been saving!!
The plant supplies at DT are such a great value! Dollar General also has good deals on plant supplies at the end of the season. Thank you for taking us along!
Please film an update when you work on that trellis seashell.😊
I buy the ring clips every year, they are super helpful for staking tomatoes and peppers. I've used the fertiliser stakes too, I usually divide one in half and put a piece on each side of the pot. I also bought the plant base with wheels last year, they did great for moving my big pots around the balcony when rotating my tomatoes. Excellent idea about the fertilizer
The Jobes Fertilizer spikes are AMAZING. I've used them for about 10 years.
Fun video, Ashley, many thanks! I like the scoops as well. I got a bag of the smaller clips and they work great. So glad you did this video! 👌🪴🥰
Love the stools!
I use tray for my shelves instead of saucers to reduce multiple products. Easier to clean too.
Great idea. Ty
You will like the clips! I have used every last one and was just thinking I need more! The little pink scoops look great too! I hope I find them.....love all those trays you showed and prop boxes.....I am going to stop on pay day! Exciting
I'm there every spring getting my plant supplies. They start stocking them in right after New Years
I have been impressed with Dollar Tree's plant and garden stuff, this year I got 12 of the stackable 3 tier planters in a mix of green and terracotta for $15 giving me two towers for strawberries and very cool large bell cloches with closures on the top. Lots of other things. You've given me some good ideas
I constantly save and repurpose those plastic containers that comes in so that I can use them saucers and bottom watering containers
I use candleholders for water propagations/soil cuttings!
I hit them up every single year for alternatives to nursury pots and other supplies. There are some great finds to be had, especially if you want to craft/paint your own pots as gifts!
I have used those little tables as plant stands, they are wonderful! You can also use them in your back yard or patio. thanks for the video!
I found the plant Velcro ties on TEMU, 3 rolls for $3.28. I also found pot hole screens for the bottom of your flower pot to keep the dirt from falling out. Lots of cool planty stuff on TEMU, also.

The water bubble is great to spike in your moss pole plants. It slowly hydrates the moss, making the plants happy.
I bought flowers that looked so real from the dollar tree once I caught my husband watering them 🤣
I love the kneeling pad. I use one when kneeling on the hot cement cleaning out the filter baskets around the pool. I have one in my car. My cat loves it too. She likes to scratch on it
I love Dollar Tree. I love the parfait cups 6 or 8 in the pack and great for hoya propagation in stratum.
Hey Ashley, I went to Dollar Tree a couple of months ago for plant supplies, I bought a couple Stools and several other item's 😊
I just recently stocked up on plant supplies at Dollar Tree. Great stuff 😊
I personally had bought the soul - it says for proper drainage and support - and is an excellent soil - I mixed w perlite - moss -ext . I went back and got some more - not heavy at all.

Thank you for sharing. Great finds
Yes😊

Jobe fertilizer stakes work out really well for plants in soil. It's slow release.
I've used the Jobes tomato fertilizer stakes and they work pretty well.
Thank you so much for leading me to Big Bloomers, we travel between our home in western NC and topsail island several times a year, now its a stop we never miss . I love the ability to buy most items in 4” pots, I have several bread racks that are perfect for small plants, 30 per flat

If you love clear containers - they have these little clear square plastic cups used for little desserts but I use them for props
15:47 I exclusively use these containers for my moss prop boxes. I’ve had great success with a variety of species so far.
I found Gardening Pins at a Dollar Tree, and wish I would have bought more than one, because I haven't seen them since. They're really helpful when potting propagations.

Dollar Tree also carries big sized closhes for humidity etc...
Thank you for your awesome channel. So much fun. I had a philodendrum root literally ground itself on my area rug not too long ago. I had to pull it out. Lol!
The clear drain collectors are flimsy but the still work. One pack is cheaper than Lowe's one piece.
@lucypearlmorgan, take a look at my comment. I made a suggestion of an alternative that is sturdier ❤.
And you can double or triple up if need be. At that price, buying more won't break the bank.
The water over time bulb works great, but they are a little difficult to fill. However it beats the $5.00 you spend on one from Home Depot.
The plastic pots are really handy to make hanging pots out of because you can cover them in jute and then drill a hole
I use the scisdors snd their pots and hummingbird feeder and nectar. I definitely need saucers and pots and to check out the party section.
Guuuuuuuuurl, I was in there this past Tuesday. 04/24/24. I purchased a hanging shelf to put my plants on a lots of other stuff for plants. It is going to be a jungle up in this piece.
Ashley, I cut my plant Velcro in 1/2 so I get 2x the length of 🎉
Water 🌎 🌎 🌎 🌎 Globes work great on my homemade new zealand sphagnum moss poles! These moss poles are dynamite! The best yet I've had.
I use the green plant clips and I really like them
You will like the water steak you got , it's plastic, my glass ones broke after about 6 months after my son bought them for me they just started braking 😢 but I will have to get me some plastic ones 🎉 thanks for the video 😊
I use 2 at a time on the clear Saucer pot holders, That way they're not so flimsy , and i'm not spending a lot on saucers. I also like to use them because then I can bottom water. And I don't have to worry about water spilling if i'm using the real terracada saucers.
I enjoyed the video 😊wish I had a Dollar Tree in my area
Gloves in the hardware section are more sturdy-durable, but just to keep your hands clean, the garden ones are more attractive.
Those glass balls do work to water in my opinion they’re also really pretty
Your DG has a great selection of items, mine doesn’t even have a garden section 😂
Stools. Look great. For plants. Top has halls. So after rain. It’s all go. Throw
How you are so excited about literally everything 😂😂🙊 When will you go thrifting again? 😍
I love the shell thing I would have got at least one.
I tried the fertiliser sticks years ago they were not cheap and did go moldy which put me off trying them again
Do you care to share where your white tired plant stand is from that’s behind you? I love the white and natural wood look. ❤
Where do you get your plants stands?I need something that’s more for a corner for several plant!
The watering bubble waterer does work but filling them is a pain.
I have bought a few of those metal things but I haven’t figured out yet how to support it into a trellis. Please tell. Tfs
I buy dollar tree bowls for succulents, you can buy a diamond bit and tile bit set at harbor freight for less than $20. In. Seconds i have a nice pot that would cost $5-8 dollars for $1.25, how to videos are out there
Got a question what kind of grow lights do you recommend for cacti
Amo tu canal. Aunque a veces no se lo que dices😂😂😂❤❤
Thanks for nice video.
