Being a dyslexic myself, i truly respect and look up to Richard Branson, when ever i felt i didn't have a change in life (most of the time at school), i had only to look at him. He is an amazing human being Jayen
listen to this man. THIS is how a CEO or any leader should lead "Running a company is about finding good people and inspiring them to get the best out of them." "To save the jobs at the airline and to save the jobs at the record company....I cashed in a chip." I hope that attitude is a big reason why he's successful.
Richard Branson is such an inspiration to anyone of any age - a truly remarkable person that can say he Definetely has lived life to the full! He's also had a positive impact on other people's lives along the way so he is living proof that good guys still exist. The interviewer wasn't that bad by the way - they seemed to get on quite well
He is a legend. Treats his workers with respect and actually makes them want to work. He was off the coast of Mexico last week testing a new submarine. We were diving there and he was cruising around. Great man who deserves the best.
Sir Richard Branson as he admits is not the smartest guy in the world, however he is a visionary and when he has a vision, he then goes about surrounding himself with people smarter than him.. he then gives then a lot of equity in the venture to complete and make the vision a reality and then he steps out of the way to let them do their job and supports them in their cause/crusade however he can and he has become a billionaire from this. He is an extraordinary man! Information with Inspiration
He is so awesome. Rich, powerful - but just a regular, likeable guy. Even in my deep envy I absolutely love his persona. =) TED should be nominated the best channel on RUclips... ever!
Aloha! That interview was brilliant! I knew you were that kind of man. Caring, integrity, amusing as well.Your the Tops Richard. Mahalo nui loa for sharing of you. Cheers! : )
wow i wish i was him, i'd have a house a penhouse in London, Penhouse in dubai, mansion in Miami, Huge apartment in New york, Penhouse in Tokyo, god i would love life to be him! i take my hat off to him, because hes worked hard and earned it!
Just finished reading his biography: "losing my virginity". It was a great read, and very inspirational. He really opened up and shared alot in the book would definately reccommend it if you are an asipiring entrepeneur like myself.
@giriisindahouse Warren Buffett's pretty cool too. Except that if you go to dinner with him he'll probably expect to split the bill. Dinner companion: "But you have BILLIONS!!!" Warren Buffett: "So? A dollar's a dollar you know."
I don't care much for his trains and stuff , but I will say one thing for the man. Whenever I have a cheese sandwich , I make sure I use his most delicious pickle. Spiffing!
MsEmotikat Perhaps he was trying to outline that. You don't have to 'pet' a genius per se, I think many people doubted him and Chris, the TED guy, was trying to show throughout this interview that lots of people did so. Branson's task was showing how they were wrong in a way. I mean the questions were hard and not beating around the bush, you know?
if u could make a difference to the world for the good of the world why do u slag off peeps who could possibly do that well done sir branson long may he continue
in his autobiography, his friend is arrested for the never mind the bollocks incident, not richard branson, and richard was also arrested and spent a night in prison for tax evasion.
Dear Sir Richard Branson, I wrote you a comment about this concept a few weeks ago and the strangest report a week or so ago on our TV news about an office vacuum tube version being looked at somewhere n the USA by some magnate? This must be in the air butterfly theory style? So, that vacuum tube concept added? Archemedes screw? Solar an wind turbine length driven inner rifle percussion tube pathway circular ring aeloens driving airflow. Leare style craft also with aeloens landing gear - next
calling others stupid is unwise my friend. Just because others do not share the same interests as you makes them neither less or more valued. Ask any talented bussiness man prepare a meal for 8 from scratch. Ask a mother of 8 to proof math equations. Ask a scientist to formulate a suggessfull pop song. Diversity is to be appreciated. I'm greatful to have these videos availible as much as Chris Crocker's. We all know different things.
I recon the -ve comments say more about the narrow minded, jealous, little f**k wits than they do about this extraordinary force of nature. =OP Long live outrageous freedom!

Full marks to stage decorator & the way they placed chairs , most of the time they make a mistake by placing chairs facing audience , then the show becomes more of a sermon . And priest which Richard was talking about .
@failure4u Well it may be true that there was money in the family, but I don't think the money itself had a lot to do with his success, it's more about the attitude and way of thinking that his parents installed in him!
Africa has enough bilionaires already, we need the wealth re-distributed, not aid! And redisbuting wealth can only be done by the population itself, not outside influece.
bramcorleone, it's probably because most people are outright stupid or uneducated and willfully ignorant. Thanks "Odin" there are still people who actually care more about important things...
Being a dyslexic myself, i truly respect and look up to Richard Branson, when ever i felt i didn't have a change in life (most of the time at school), i had only to look at him.

The TED guy was just annoying with his pessemism. Branson is a genius.
MsEmotikat Perhaps he was trying to outline that. You don't have to 'pet' a genius per se, I think many people doubted him and Chris, the TED guy, was trying to show throughout this interview that lots of people did so.

Nice.
What does it means "I chipped in a chip"?
like a boss

so a professor from Notthingham who actually is a priest defended Richard Branson and the Sex Pistols for using the word 'bullocks'. that is genius.

The effects of drug use during his teens is beginning to show there I think...

Go Virgin Galactic! One day, I hope to join the zero gravity club, putting the mile high club to shame.
Africa has enough bilionaires already, we need the wealth re-distributed, not aid! And redisbuting wealth can only be done by the population itself, not outside influece.
Well they've not managed it so far ...
@touldouar
Thank Goodness the people that think like you will be out of office soon.
bramcorleone, it's probably because most people are outright stupid or uneducated and willfully ignorant.
Thanks "Odin" there are still people who actually care more about important things...
the interviewer is horrible, interrupting and erratic questions that dont explore a little of each subject ... a wasted opportunity.
Paracetamol is always expensive and c.....s very very cheap and free
The effects of drug use during his teens are beginning to show there I think...
Hellosiryesinokilike
What is the point of this button.
@newb1912
Suits and ties can't talk, you'd be better off getting a person to talk to you.
what ridiculous questions
Terrible interviewer.
gotta love the filthy rich...
@darthspeaks I don't think he cares about that rubbish
That balloon story was the most ridiculous bullshit I've ever heard.
ほんまに意味わからん。
