Great video, running Cubase 12 and have some waiting's before we upgrade like I want to see the first update so I really sure and not get any bugs, but I think it looks great so we will take the upgrade as soon as possible.
C13 great update! I prefer workflow improvements over fancy new stuff. Very stable here so far. With a little tweaking the GUI is better than previous versions. recommend.
You mean the new field on the left? I love it. Takes less space than the regular inspector. A bunch of small workflow stuff that is pretty sweet. I like it! 😘
For me that's one of the best additions. For composing/producing it's just amazing - I can compose and play with instruments and just with a move of the mouse I can correct basic things volume/pan-wise or have fun with EQ/Strips/Inserts while sounddesigning, without going to mixer or Channel Settings windows popping out on top of my VSTis.
I love to have both open. Monitors now are so wide and its great to always have routing etc editable in the normal inspector and then inserts/sends/fader on the mini inspector. (Which can be sized to be just as big as the regular one)
I think that *THIS* upgrade to 13., 🤔 appears to come from *'two independent' *'DAW'* Perspectives: *1. Recording & Engineering* *2. Producing* aka: *Producer/Musician* Yet The Importance of *'the equality* of the *'Users' Balance'*: between the *TWO* of the 'Perspectives', of which Cubase is *OFFERING* us, in this particular; *'Upgraded(?) Version'* ., , hmmm 🤔 i must say that I am disappointed - somewhat.* 🤷🏽♂️ *Why?...,* 🤔 this is because Steinberg is spoon-feeding us like babies *(producer wise).* *The Workflow Update* is what I call it. No problem. Yet, I was already fine with my workflow. These new features like colorizations etc, are not going to make us make ANY HIT SONG any quicker than we can. Period! The only good thing(?) that Steinberg did was in adding the 'stereo-to-mono' trk & added more features to its Sampler Track. Then again, I know how to create or record mono/stereo already. So, I've rarely encountered a need to make tracks mono or stereo afterwards. If so, I'd do it the manual way, no problem!! What I'd really like to see in Cubase Pro: A full version of a VSTI (GA5 or Halion) included for Producers. Other than that, I could care less abt any more Plugs!!
Out of all the things you listed that weren't improving your ability or expediency at creating a hit song in v13, the one thing you can come up with that you feel would accomplish this is a full version of GA or Halion to be gifted to you? Really? Zero other suggestions?
@@R0bstar-YT yeah, there are other suggestions. Yet, I don't think that the so-called workflow enhancements are noteworthy imho. Cubase is/was as fine as it was already. However, I believe that the main enhancement would/could be CPU efficiency. Yet, we all know that the bulk of the weight of Cubase's package is over 60% protection. This radically slows down the efficiency of the program. I'm a diehard Cubaser.

Any specific gui tweaks in mind?
I've been very tempted to switch to Cubase from Pro Tools. I think I'm convinced I need to at least try it now!
You definitely should! Pro tools is cool too though 🤘
PT is look pretty nice these days, if I was on Mac, or in a proper recording studio I'd have both.
I don't understand that mini inspector. Now I have two instead of one? Anything new here?

Ah Kohle you use controler cc121 right? Man if we dont have a physical fader that new channel tab is a life changer
