Mixed Media Painting Mini Abstract Art Quick Draw

Demonstration; how to paint a setoff Mini Abstracts on one page.
For this project you will need:
• Acrylic paint*
• Collage papers and glue (I used a binder medium, you could use PVA)
• Oil pastels (or pencils, pens etc…)
• A3 cartridge paper
• Gesso (if your paper is a bit thin)
• Masking tape
• Brushes, spatulas, palettes and pots.
This project should take between 60 - 120 minutes.
*Try mixing one or two colours with black and white to create a set of tonal colours to work with.
I cut my own mounts to display the finished pieces. Remember, if you buy mounts mask your paper off to a similar size or a size ready for framing!
These pieces can look great as mini artworks but if you make them smaller you can use them for cards or business cards, just add your details to the back.
