The only problem with the window film is that if you want to look outside for any number of reasons you cannot do that.

Yes, but some of them give privacy, yet still let you still see things ❤

@@cathyvelliquette3799 well if you are able to see out of the window film, then more than likely, others can see inside your window. God loves you. Jesus loves you and died for you. God bless you always.

Well I figure, you can always open the window to look out.

You could buy the dual roller blind. 1 part comes down for daytime. You can see out, but nobody can see in. The second blind comes down for night. My neighbour has them and they are good.
You could also tint your window, although at night people can see in.

🌸 Depends on what type you get
I have transparent crystal rainbow one on kitchen back door
I wanted privacy and if I want to look out I have my widows, sometimes I leave door open
Other times I can peek out of design to see anyone but the can’t see me watching them

Apparently they’ve done a lot of contact paper projects without air bubbles. For me it never fails plenty of air bubbles but I did like the ideas.

The window coverings without all those little pieces to fit together, Amazon. It's called privacy film. Very easy to use. Already decorative. Very durable and reuseable.

My friend did this years ago. Nothing new. You have to select a different film if you want to look outside. Or, cut small holes so you can at least peek outside to see what's going on.

I recently did 2 windows. I used a few drops of baby shampoo with water in a spray bottle. I've read that if you use dish soap, it has ingredients that can affect the adhesive, so baby shampoo is better, supposedly. I bought 2 squeegees. 1 smooth rubber and one like felt material to get rid of bubbles that are used for window film. Spray window privacy film and spray the side facing you to help squeegee smooth over without damage. I found it easier to cut to size than trimming excess. I also smooth over with a towel to get rid of excess water. Any air bubbles use a pin, although I never had any. The next one I'm doing is a large sliding door. I'm doing white frost around the outside and a sunset privacy film in the centre.
