CLG is that super cocky team that backs it up with great performance, which is a dangerous combination for their opponents. Sometimes, with teams like CLG, that cockiness / confidence can cause games to be over before they even start because they can get into their opponents' heads

+David Gowen Yeah man me too. I just don't want a sweep like this in the finals next year. Plus a loser's bracket is used in other eSports and it would lead to a lot more action. Plus sometimes teams just have off series I feel like. I could be wrong.

Good games and shoutcasting, but the camera work isn't great. I get you wanna show the plays, but I'd like to see a constant feed of who is alive and their map position, like the caster POV, rather than watching the gamer's face the entire time. Maybe even a separate live page that displays the stats.
i honestly think they should do breakout with like 10 rounds instead of ctf, i personally dont think ctf is all that exiting. you see somone get a triple kill or wipe the other team and yet the other team is not punished hard enough for this.

it may not be a physical sport, but its a sport of the mind like chess. it's been around (with separate tournament hosts) since halo 1.

why so much hate, I kinda left Halo 3 for Cod Modern Warfare, Halo Reach and 4 never hooked me. now im back on halo and in my opinion its one of the best multiplayer experience in any halo game I've played. Can't wait to see what Halo 6 has to offer.
timmy D I couldn't agree more lol I know one reason people are pissed is because halo 5 had a shitty launch for sure but I think the main reason people hate on the game so much is just how it's a new game and will never capture the old feelings that the older halos have. People don't realize that a shooter these days without sprint would be god awful also lol

I have to say: the quality of this tournament is great. Great video production, great options now with spectator mode and all, nice stage setup, etc. It's a far cry from where Halo was not too long ago with AGL and all that low-budget stuff that really felt terrible.
However... I still just don't really find watching Halo 5 all that enjoyable compared to the likes of Halo: CE, Halo 2, and Halo 3. I mean, even MLG Halo: Reach (ZBNS / V7) events were more exciting to watch than this is. Just my opinion, of course; I know plenty of people love Halo 5 and all, and that's fine. I honestly think it's a decently fun game (or can be, anyway) most of the time, just as a game in general. But as a "Halo" game, though, I really don't like it.
