Dexter Roberts imo Gesture's Rein is better than Fissure's. He just carries every single time he touches that hero. While I remember Fissure's Rein got outplayed by xQc. I think Gesture and Fissure are even when it comes to Winston.

My personal favorite part of this was when birdring and carpe hugged after the game, two amazing widow players who were at eachother the entire game. It truely was a powerful moment

I do not understand this "anticlimactic game" that you guys are saying in the comments. London performed out of everyone's mind. Every moment was a super play from London. That shows preparation of the team. It is Fusion's fault for giving no change to their strategy since NYXL. The same strategy will not work if the team already found out how it was going to work. London changed by conquering the faulty mentality the team had. If it was disappointing, blame it on Philly for not preparing enough to beat a team that just defeated their biggest weakness and is improving endlessly.
Neutrals just want a close game regardless of the quality of the match. I don't get it, but its what people wanted i guess.

StevenDestinyBonnell Exactly. People should appreciate that they witnessed some of the best overwatch play ever. Maybe it wasn't as competitive as people thought but they got to see peak level overwatch by the spitfire. They've been on another level this playoffs.
I know for a fact people wouldnt be saying it was boring if it was an NA team who somehow won 3-0 against a korean team.
I have one funny thing to add. Everyone is mocking Carpe and Eqo but it was obvious that they only went to dive the enemy when DPS duo was playing out of ppl's minds. I personally think that SADO was the main reason that they lost. He is way too behind in gameplay compared with any top tier main tanks. Look at the game. Did anyone see Sado and Poko ever sticking together for a dive or even jumping in for EQO when he was on Tracer on Lijiang? Fusion is a HARD-DPS-DEPENDENT team. OW is played by 6 ppl and not 2. They managed to push only when it was at least 6 on 5. Sado didn't know a single time where to position himself in a disadvantageous situations to trade for loss of the team. GC Busan and Kongdoo Panthera were teams famous for trade-in strategies; you lose 1 player but make space to kill 3 to secure victory in team fights. Saying about London's style, it was a very well-established base since APEX and Sado was in scrims (according to Ado). It was poorly done by him this game even there is a history of him actually playing with APEX players. But in general, London's performance was great and I have to say that Gesture and Profit are surely strong when it comes closer to the finals since APEX.

Really excited to see what Fuel can bring in season 2 especially with Aero and Jayne as coaches. But a great effort from London Spitfire for this season end.

I wouldn’t feel to bad if I was a fusion fan they came pretty far for being a six seed and I really don’t think anyone was going to beat London today they just looked unstoppable as a team there was moments where birdring and profit just did not miss shots and gesture played A1 all day just a great overall team win they defiantly deserved to win it all

Philly came back strong and though their sweep of NYXL in the Semi's will be regarded as one of the possible biggest upsets in OWL, they will be remembered for getting swept in the Finals.

Fury proved himself to be the best D.va in the world. Man made so many plays and peeled beautifully for his supports. Also not a better dps duo than Profit and Birdring, gameplay and name wise tbh.

Fury is at the top, but no way he is the best. A main problem Fury has is that when he is not performing at his best (which no one does, being at your 100% every match is ridiculous) He performs quite bad actually.
A proof of that is the entire season of the Spitfire. Too inconsistent. They almost missed the playoffs as well, and Fury was one of the many who were responsible for that.

Remember when London wasn’t even expected to get out of the first round. Everyone slept on the most talented roster in the league. Lol. Profit, Fury, and gesture all were robbed of a SK World Cup spot. No changing my mind.

You can make the same argument about every patch change they made. Even Fusion getting into the finals can be somewhat attributed to the patch changes.
They update after every stage and teams get weeks practicing it. The winners OWL are the ones which adapt the best and I think that's what blizzard want. Also if they never changed to recent updates London would still win because stage 1 was a thing

No one threw on Philly. The two teams they played have heavily decrease in skill recently and didnt actually require much to beat. Little mistakes which they normally get away with got punished by the spitfire because that's how they play. Applying pressure and waiting for a fuck up. If you want to blame someone blame the coaches because the crazy strats that normally catch teams off guard weren't there

The London DPS, Tank Off support completely outmatched Philly. They had much more communication and they would’ve done the same to NY imo. They are the improved stage 1 London and no1 can beat them. I would’ve be surprised if they slump gain is S2 beucase in playoffs they will do that same thing.
