Gene Watson, beautiful Job on "Lord you gave me a mountain". Loved it, your voice and the way you do a song. Sure you will never see this post, but a little humor here. Your song, "Farewell Party", loved it can not tell you how many times I've listen to it. Have told many, wanted that played at my funeral, all laughed at me and said NO he'll no. Even my daughter said, dad that will never happen, but lost her few years back. Just saying, truly we have been given mountains, that are almost impossible to climb. Lord bless you and the gift, He gave you(voice)

Gene has said he never made the Nashville connection. He never lived in Nashville so I guess that's why he's been snubbed by the Opry and Hall of Fame. Shame on you guys. This is one of the best singers I'v ever heard.
