My Dad spoke Spanish, very little English. When he heard Marty Robbin’s sing tears welled up in his eyes. He bought the cassette tape of Mr. Robbin’s songs, played them over & over , eventually singing along in English. He would have me play those songs before he passed.

Saw Marty Robbins at Tahoe back in 1975. Went to see Charlie Rich but, his show was sold out so went up the street and saw Marty. Not only a great singer but, also entertainer all around. Put on a great show.
