Chinese Scallion Pancakes
(Makes 6 Pancakes)
3 cups of all-purpose flour
2 teaspoon salt
1 cup hot water
½ cup of cold water (more if dough is dry)
1 tablespoon olive oil (for dough)
3 tablespoons of lard or vegetable shortening OR 1/2 cup olive oil
half a bunch of scallions
1 tablespoon sesame seeds (optional)
