Damn, now that is the way to share the stage with your son! They BOTH just "got it"! Whew! Thank you so much for sharing this incredible live performance!
I really love this version of Tree Top Flyer. I wish the recording was recorded in a higher quality. Christopher looks a lot like Steven when he was young...yes I remember.
Now that puts a smile on my face, Stephen Stills in top form - seemed to enjoy the song with his son a lot. So much groove in this song. Great performance, thanks for uploading!
I may be late to the party but after we lost David (the C of CSNY) - was searching youtube for crosby concerts and kept finding these amazing clips from Stephen. Did not realize it was his raspy, sexy, hard driving, velvet voice that drives so many of the CSNY songs. A white man with a very soul voice. And ridiculously gifted on guitar. and lyrics. Did not realize. Feel so ashamed not to have been in love with SS all these years. Making up for it now. Listening over and again. Cannot really get enough. polite apologies. xxoxo
Absolutely Superb Performance!!! a great rendition of Treetop Flyer, -they say you can't beat a live performance the band sounded great and Chris is ''a chip off the old block'' and Stills snr. well I just cain't get enough of his singing and his guitar work never ceases to enthrall and amaze me, Stephen's singing sounds particularly good here, well done all you guys .Magnifique!!!!
First heard this song mid '90s after leaving a bad party. My god, my timing was perfect: driving over a bridge from North Van to Vancouver this song came on the radio. My mood instantly changed from people to suck to Stephen Stills is mind blowing. This video is poignant with his son playing along.
Damn few of those made. Brad Whitford has one and said Fender made about 50 of them. His knowledge is that Beck had one, and another high profile artist (I don’t remember who he mentioned). Now we know Stills has one.
Just imagine how great this man could have been if he'd taken care of himself.... God help that man. He is my all time, beyond a doubt, favorite guitar player and singer.
The biggest problem for Stephen is he's basically deaf. It's from something genetic (can't remember what it's called, sorry) Can you imagine having such music in your soul and trying numerous things to hear?! The latest I've heard of are Oticon Dual hearing aids. He's so gifted may he be around as long as I am!!!!
@@scotsman6712 That’s right. I am 53 and I know some guys will automatically say oh you’re a baby or whatever but looking back at everything I did I’m so lucky to be here and now I’m cleaned up just really focused on trying to live a quality life and hopefully stick around for a good long while. It sure goes fast
His kid definitely got a lot of his face, just like how Dhani Harrison looks like George. Awesome stuff. Conor Clapton would've looked just like his father, as well, but we all know what happened there.

He is my all time favorite!
Moi aussi 🥰.
It just doesn’t get any better than this ! Father and son …..🎼👍👏🎼…..wow ….🤗.
Formidable as ever by Still(s) one of the best guitar/songwriters ever!

The way they bounce off each each other puts me to mind of me and my dad when we play together
Le talent par excellence identique à ses parents... !!
Well done. 🤠
Quel beau mec, ce Chris!
Stills may not be able to sing like he used to but he bubbles over with talent. Great musician.
Christophe Stills est vraiment surdoué, il devra chanter avec Véronique à Québec pendant le temps de Carnavale au mois de février 2023.Bon courage!
Love his strat. Mids 60s rare bound fingerboard ?
I have never seen one! Fender did do some Jazz basses with black block position markers and neck binding.
