I think the ring work as intended in term of haste buff when full health. It activates when we "receive healing effect" not when we heal. Summoner trait gives us on-going healing effect so the ring should also give us continuous haste buff. (even without summoner trait, we can still get on-going regen from the ring and it will trigger continuous haste in the same way) The question is, why it affects the attack power of minion.
Not sure why it slowly brings the damage up, but it is because they’re technically a skill. Unless there damage is coded differently because they’re a skill. Because it effects turrets as well, I assume it’s a coding thing.

Passive healing is always active whether you are at full health or not. You get the constant haste bc your summoner achetype is constantly trying to heal you
@@Born2Gameeven if you do afk, if the boss summons minions they’ll attack the minions and if the boss has a massive AOE attack it’s pretty much worthless. If not then sure it’ll probably work but you also gotta take into mind that the AI are very dumb sometimes.

Any movement at all starts to reset the damage Edit: I was wrong actually it still works but you can't use relics so using the generating band ring and rerouting cable ring will help keep you alive

I mean something not working as intended is in fact broken. If there's a way to easily cheese bosses, people will do it. Lots of people will often take the path of least resistance. Now personally I don't really care (long as someone doesn't join my game and ruin the experience for me by deleting bosses), but the developers did design this game with challenge in mind and waiting outside a boss room for awhile then deleting the boss in one hit isn't exactly how I imagine they wanted people to beat apocalypse for example. So they're within their rights to fix this if they want to.

I actually wouldnt say this is broken, the summoner has a trait that heals your summons and tbh I don't see the point in healing them vs just letting them go down and resummon them because it doesn't take a relic. Maybe it scales higher than necessary but I don't think it's a bug imho
You don’t need to shoot to reset it resets when you point your weapon you can only run around and go in menu and do that but you can’t point your weapon i was hitting over 100k one shotting bosses 😂
It’s resets when you roll I was trying it but it only went up in damage after they hit something I stayed afk for about ten mins and the did next to no damage
It's not a game glitch Man the game the ring itself is set to give you constant haste if your constant healing so if you use let's say for instance tranquil heart. Because the heart is giving you constant healing little the ring give you constant Haste when you combine them then adding regrowth rate increases & also triage is a plus.
It works as intended, overhealing is a mechanic in the game so there's that, in terms of it being broken I don't think so cuz its annoying to use, you ain't gonna fight, you'll have to wait an absurd amount of time to have em dealing considerable DMG. Imagine waiting 15min minimum on every dungeon and a boss fight xD not counting that you might get one shot or fall a ledge and repeat the process 😂😂

I don't think there's any problem with this you yourself just demonstrated in this video did it kind of useless in actual gameplay so what looks like you basically can't do anything other than walk around otherwise it resets making it basically useless I have a feeling even going through a boss door would reset it

Iv done everything in remnant, got the plat absolutely loved it. I don’t need any damage cheeses 😂 just use the bonesaw, with maxed out extra ammo capacity with fire rounds all crit rings mate I’m getting up to 70k a clip 😂
@@ProfesorFrodoJSchitz The damage numbers you see at the test range are going to be different to actual enemies because enemies have armour and resistances and the dummies don't.
@@iamme625people forget this though. Like the videos saying “33k dps” & in reality, no. It’s more accurately 1-3k, but like you said, certain enemies it will be even less, especially on harder difficulties 😂
@@odin-i-4592 you have it right, get 15 blood essence from the purple wisps during bloodmoon and the you can buy the book to unlock summoner. It's total rng on bloodmoon spawning. Once you get it there will be a reddish purple tint to the sky also DO NOT go through mist walls or use crystal until you get how many blood essence you need/want. It's ok after you kill all the orbs in the level to use liquid death or let enemies kill you and you respawn at crystal that will not lose the bloodmoon but if you use the crystal to teleport or invite someone to the level it will lose the bloodmoon.. Levels may have roughly around 4 to 9 wisps (it's random) but they will just respawn when you die so you can farm them pretty quickly. It may be a pain waiting on the bloodmoon to appear though. I got lucky and had one the other day and unlocked the class. It was totally random because I had been trying to get it to spawn by teleporting in/out several times with no luck then when I was just playing the game it unexpectedly happened when I loaded in a section while playing.

Disagree with you first things first you'll need to keep the minions alive for them to work up those insane damage which can be a lil difficult at times which definitely be a lot harder to do that in apocalypse sure it's possible to keep them alive but still it's bad enough they want to nerf all the other shit that doesn't need fucking nerfed in the first place and on top of it they should already know what the fuck their product does before they fucking sell shit to the public it's called Indian giving which actually should be illegal.

Haste gives 7% Speed on anything your character can do. Run, fire, reload, use a skill all goes 7% faster with haste.
You should update your title to show that this has now been fixed in a patch and will no longer keep increasing the damage of minions.
On a side note,…I’m so glad they put this shooting range in the game so we can test out damage on builds…

I think they should be left alone. In most fights especially boss fights, they won't live long enough to reach those numbers.
You can afk outside a boss room, let them build their damage and then go in and one tap bosses

From what I can tell dodge rolls reset the damage back to normal. Crouching also resets it

Doesnt seem broken to me. You can't do anything while they attack. I'd do is explore and let them take care of enemies.
This is really only broken for Summoner class. It works as intended for every other class.

What other rings do you have equipped? What is generating the big damage output of the summons?
Nothing generates it anymore because it’s patched
I say leave it alone and just have fun with it, the beauty of remnant. That is why i enjoyed the first game so much. Good video!

For me the ring was available ever since the very start of the game, was just too expensive for a while and couldn't buy it

If it wasn’t a glitch they wouldn’t have patched it. Haste isn’t supposed to make your summons infinitely scale damage, it was a glitch

I was farming the chimney and I noticed one trash always dies with 427 health and if I somehow didn't hit exactly that it would add up to 427

Struggling to get the summoner class
Make sure there’s an item in front of the grates, the monster will grab you in and as long as you’re not in the sewers you’ll get the archetype
@@Born2Game I thought you got the summoner archetype by collecting the purple things in the sky with bloodmoon? Then buying the book
