- Syphon Filter 2 game movie. Movie contains all main cutscenes and all gameplay. Features:
- Checkpoint and Mission Objective Complete caps were deleted.
- Armor, Health, Danger and Target caps was deleted.
- All cutscenes black bars were cut.
- Smooth transition from gameplay to cutscenes and vice versa.
- Title screen with actors, composer and writers.
- Quick missions walkthrough.
Syphon filter needs a trilogy remaster 1-3 I wish I had the money to do it....that menu song brings me back to simple days
I agree, they definitely should have remade the Syphon Filter trilogy and put it in the PlayStation and Xbox Microsoft stores.

Thanks for putting these up, this was one of my favorite PS1 games growing up, so it was nice to relive great memories again.

My word, I dont remember the ai being this blind.
I think it's partly the "Expert Agent" (or whatever people called it) cheat that's helping auto-aiming perfectly for the head that also reduces some of the AI accuracy.
Me neither, I played that at 6 and this game was a hell difficult

I remember skipping the long cut scenes as a kid, and looking back they really showed how desperate the Agency was to get Lian back in their grasp. Really makes the Bio-Lab Escape and Sewer/Slum levels more impactful knowing they're throwing literally everything at you and playing dirty.
I always felt bad for the GIs in the first mission especially Kowalski, he had no way to defend him. Eschlman made the ultimate sacrifice. It sucks Ramirez survived the mountains only to get killed by chance.

I was always so impatient. I tried to run through the gunfire on the cell blocks. Sometimes I would make it. Sometimes Gregory would make it. I would always rage quit after dieing.

F-22 with "Air Combat Command" emblem on it's tail. Also "NE" markings, which means they're based out of "Francis E. Warren Air Force Base" in Wyoming, around 12 miles from Colorado. Black numbers and yellow stripe may indicate it's an agressor aircraft. Plus, shows unknown round emblem on its body.
Wish we could see its model in detail. The ingame version is much less detailed than the one in the cutscene.

Wait...you beat the game in 2 and half hours??? God damn! It took me 2 to 3 days to beat it, at least, if I remember my gaming moments back then. lol
If you think about it, Gabe Logan's longest day was the day he set out to find Phagan in Rhoemer's Stronghold. From there he rescued Lian, set out to the Pharcom Warehouses in Kazakhstan to defeat Rhoemer, then at the airport the Agency attacked and abducted Lian and shot down his plane in the Colorado mountains. Then he had to trek down the mountain, fight past the Agency's blockade, disarm the bombs on the bridge, and fight through a train. Culminating in landing in the crash site, fighting off Archer's best men, and sniping Archer as he tried to get away.
Gabe Logan has superhuman stamina and concentration to last that long.
That's an interesting take. Yet, it's not right, by the briefings timings we can assume that: 07/09 06:30 - Gabe was sent to Rhoemer's Stroghold, by 07/09 08:00 he was about to save Lian in catacombs. In Pharcom Warehouses he flew by 08/09 03:00 (about 16 hours to reach their destination, Gabe could rest all this time in helicopter when they flying, or do some stops). In 08/09 05:15 (within 2 hours from reaching Kazakhstan) - he defeated Rhoemer. Next SF2, events from the mountains to the crash site took Gabe just 2-3 hours to finish. But still yeah, Gabe was in a hell for these 5-6 hours, defeating Rhoemer, stopping the missile, and then surviving Agency attacks and killing Archer.

A little story for everyone:
When I was little I somehow conviced my mom to buy me the greatest hits version of this game from a Toy R Us in Green Bay, WI. Little did I know at the time but it would end up being the best game I had ever gotten. Period.
Games 1-3 are all excellent. Right up until they tried to replace John Chacon as the voice of Gabe.

@@FoxHand Но правда ведь, перевод очень хорош, некоторые обороты фигурально точны на 100% (при их-то буквальной неточности). Стесняюсь спросить, наверное имеет место какое-то специальное образование? Потому что на одних школьных-общеуниверситетских знаниях ТАК перевести несколько часов речи не получится + однозначно виден опыт на этом поприще.
@@magnushammersmith121 спец. образования нет, всё на чистом интузиазме: огромная любовь к серии Syphon Filter и несколько лет работы над переводом (доработка, полировка и т.д.) Первая версия субтитров в 2017 году была просто ужасна ввиду неопытности (слишком буквальное следование оригиналу), помогло общение со знающими толк в переводах людьми, после чего стал потихоньку понимать суть переводов и видимо набрался какого-никакого опыта. :)
SPOILER ALERT:
I've always felt that Teresa dying at the end of the game was the initial storyline. It felt odd and stupid when they brought her back in 3. Not that I'm saying she wasn't a good character but the story had so much depth when they were all fighting for their lives. You can't "forward roll" your way out of every situation.
Look, Teresa turning up alive in 3 was a very good thing they did! I know nobody liked it when she was presumed killed at the end of this second one cause she was always a cool and likable character. So BE HAPPY for it!

I played this a lot as a kid and I never knew it had such great ai in it, lol. This sneaking by while they look at you is awesome! Almost like Bethesda's games xD

The old outdated gamephysics is the only thing that kept me from beating this game or even getting past that hospital Escape mission, if they were to ever make a remake of this game I would gladly spend $60

The level with full body-armoured guys took me so long to finish as a 10 year old. So insanely nervous as well. Fucking hell this was a breeze!

Спасибо за совет, учту. Да, перевод ужасен. Тогда, в 2017 я набивал шишки так сказать. Да и в самом английском тексте были ошибки, которые я уже исправил. Новая версия перевода в процессе.

В данном случае через этот вентиль всё равно далеко не убежишь, это понятно по следующей миссии: там находится широкая шахта с большим работающим вентилятором.

One-shot kill cheat. Tried to make movie-length (under 3 hours) playthrough, without that cheat it easily could be more than 3 hours.

My only feedback is for the "Mission Briefing" before each Level begins. But, you have time constraints, and I still have my Memories to recall each one.

@@ccseries Thanks. Briefings is intentional refuse, they'd contradict the idea of the movie, splitting it on levels, while I tried to make a monolite thing. I also modded the game to get rid of checkpoints and some other captions. Btw, as of this day, I deleted all HUD elements in the game and can make even better movie, just don't have time to put it all together.
