He said porking v a d ge, which is basically a very crude way of saying having sex with women. Also bit of context on the ties. In most secondary schools (or in my experience) you have to have at least 7 stripes so it goes down to around your belly button. So people make em really short in a sort of rebellious fashion I guess you could call it.
Ah... that makes sense. I recall one school I went to (no uniforms) had regulations against wearing shirts untucked, skirts and shorts less than 2 inches below the knees, and several others that went beyond most other schools, and we had a lot of intentional rebellious protesting fashions.
The girl said to Will (the posher looking guy) she said, your shoes are well shit - Not wales is shit. Lol. Are you able to make these reactions longer? ❤
Thank you for the correction. I think when I initially watched I did not hear it right. My hearing isn't great, but I did notice it when I was editing. I can make these longer, just the show footage is safer being kept short. RUclips and the copyright owners will make me cut sections out if I have too much of the show footage in there. I do feel like I can add more commentary though.
Short ties like that were seen as a sign of non-comformity, adhering to the rules of wearing the tie but rebelling just enough to be perceieved as ''individual''. Long ties were always seen as ''nerdy'' and uncool.
Yeah, I think ties here were just uncool in school generally, but that was in public schools without uniforms. I put my kids in a charter school with uniforms, but no required ties. It was kaki pants or shorts, and a green or blue shirt with the school logo. My kids still didn't like it, even though the requirements were a lot more lenient than some school uniforms.
