Awesome video! Your audio sounds great on the MV7. Mine sounds rubbish - I plug my MV7 via XLR into a beachtek DXA micro pro, which then goes into my Sony ZV 10. Then I edit in light works. Very much a novice but any tips recommended - I had a tonne of issues syncing audio in post that I wanted a solution where I could just record audio and video in one file. Any tips?
Glad you enjoyed it! Hmm, yeah having both in 1 file is great. What exactly don't you like about how your audio sounds? I record directly into my mac, and I can set the mic to dark, natural or bright modes and I find the dark mode seems to suit my voice the best. This could be work trying, although you will end up with 2 files. There are a lot of editing software out there that can automatically sync both files, I'm just not familiar with Light Works. Have you ever tried CapCut? I know that an audio syncing option and it's free.
@@NickKendall thanks mate I’ll give that a try!

Ace tips mate, thank you!

Do you have to boost the audio when recording through USB? I see some channels mentioning they have to boost db level for it to sound as same as when using the audio interface setup. Also does all macbook comes with garage band software or is it free to use software that only be used with macbooks?
I boost it a little bit in post, but not heaps. Garage band is free on all Macs :)
What glasses frames are those?
Bailey Nelson :)
