I love Minimaliste and checked them out online prior to purchasing from Incredible Tiny Homes. They were a bit too expensive but worth it I’m sure! When I saw the truck pulling the house picture, I knew it was them!!! Gorgeous, classy homes that are great even in very cold weather!!!
🍀👍🍀🤔nice segment Mic,Leary about buying anything on amazon let alone a home. Thanks for the leg work and consumer safety net that’s lacking in this new & emerging “expensive “arena.👍
Hi! Thanks for watching. Oh man the "expensive" part really got me. You're not wrong though. Things are really changing and prices are going up for sure.
Hey Everyone! I'm not sure if they've had other people complain recently but I checked their Amazon page and they are cutting prices so their $99K model is now going for $49K. Huge price changes are another potential thing to look out for.
There is a place in Texas Clayton Texas if I'm not mistaken Ulrich they build a quality cabin type house I almost went to Texas and I was going to buy them meaning I trust the idea so much I was going to buy three of them but I didn't wind up going to Texas but that being said they will transport it if you go to their website there's functional and happy people also they have people on site on the phone I actually had conversations with real people no gimmicks no joke I was very happy to think I could do this with them so again it's Ulrich out of Texas very very quality people for as I was concerned😅
The tiny home industry is the wild west of housing - watch out for all the shenanigans! The Internet is a scammers paradise, few people will take the time to do all the reverse image searches - and that is all the fuel that scammers need.
I really appreciate the depth of your research and then presenting it to us. I would love to find a tiny house and property that would work for me, but as you are finding, you have to go in with a "buyer beware" mind set and you really have brought so many things to our attention. I agree that some type of standards should be placed on the industry, but not sure to what degree. I know the cost of tiny homes are going up constantly and mostly for good reason, but so many are still outside my tiny budget and I would be concerned too much regulation would make that worse. Keep doing these videos though, we need to be savvy buyers!
I agree, it's hard to find the right balance! I don't think prices will go back to the levels people are used to from the start of the movement either. It takes a bit more research but it's worth it to find a builder you can really trust and enjoy the builder process with too! Are you looking to just buy the tiny house or do you want land too?
@@MicThinksTiny I'm not in a position to purchase land as well as a home. That's why I liked the video with the new community near Nashville, TN. Even though it means paying lot rent, it's an "easier" option for me.
Thank you SO much! We are looking into getting a tiny home and there are a TON of scammers out there! Based on your research and experience, who would you recommend as legitimate and reliable tiny home builders/vendors?
Hey! It really depends on your budget and the style of home you're looking for. Budget friendly builders would be Phoenix Park Models or Pacifica Tiny Homes. If you're willing/able to spend more (upwards of 70K or 100K) you could go the custom builder route. Venture Tiny Homes, Coastal Tiny Homes, or Liberty Tiny Homes would be solid options for a higher price point. There's videos for all of them on the channel too so you can learn more about them and then reach out to one of them.
Damn fine work there..and by your actions and words the public should step up and help set up a way to stop the scams and lies ..Hell yes!! That what I'm talking about ..!!
Hey! Thanks so much for watching and commenting. I was really bummed about this one but I'm glad I trusted my instincts on it. It's a lot to ask the public to do.
It's takes more courage to actually to put yourself out there from the beginning and then to warn the public of the fake stuff instead of not even mentioning it and pass the buck so to say .. thank you
Amazon should be held responsible for allowing these scams on their website, it’s irresponsible, the FTC needs to be informed so they can investigate and hold the offenders accountable
Amazon apparently doesn’t check anything, they don’t care as long as they are making money, the protection of their customer base should be the utmost priority, this is false advertising, I believe the FTC would be more concerned and do more to present consequences to whomever is responsible. The FTC just announced that companies must make it easier for consumers to cancel and opt out of subscriptions with a one button click, making opting out as easy as signing up, I believe it takes effect in April 2025. I still think the billion dollar company Amazon needs to do a whole lot more
Hi! Unfortunately, no. None of the companies they used knew about the Amazon site or the company so they did not ask anyone's permission before republishing their content.
Ya really. It's not like con artists dont operate in the 3rd person even, and anyone with a cognitive brain understands that homelessness frostbite never really produces afterlives and the same can be said about those land mines and bomb vests dotting the real estate of a planet being sold to the highest bidder. If its not selling the dream of owning a home, its the real estate mafia jacking up a 10 thousand dollar to build shoebox type home and encouraging flippers to push it to 1.4 million, and we see this going on all around the corrupted planet. Even amazon is a work from home for scammers that seem to be enabled by the billionaires that are too busy pretending to care rather than prevent victim impact statements preemptively. Its like vegas based on the terms of service.
Hey! Yeah so often times a tiny house is listed in terms of sizing with the lofts or without them. My guess is this is taking the loft sizing into consideration as well.
Thank you for all you do to warn consumers. I know you want to keep your videos from getting too long, but would you slow down a bit, please? Some of your words get lost because you are talking so fast.
@@stacer1962 Playback feature? I only see options for video resolution and/or captions. Nothing about speed. So, I don't know what you are referring to.
I do see a setting on my phone for Playback speed, but I watch the videos on my tablet, not my phone. Perhaps I need to update the RUclips app on my tablet.
@catherineostrom7575 Hey! Thanks for watching and commenting. I appreciate the feedback. It is a bit of a balancing act between the speed and the video length. I can definitely try to be more mindful of it for future videos.

Hey! Thanks for sharing this. It's great they decided to give away a few homes to people impacted by the storm. I don't think that changes anything I talked about in the video though.
what you actually stumbled upon is a money laundering platform. this is how art is so high priced,, people arent buying the art, they are using art as a means of currency to move somewhere else.
Hey! Thanks for watching and the comment. Okay, that's an interesting way to look at it but I see your point. It is a deliberate choice they are making to steal other people's designs and images and pass them off as their own. It's just going on so much now I'm not sure how the industry is going to respond (in a formal way). Any thoughts on what can be done to stop it?
I can't believe Amazon would let this happen! Thank you for doing research on scammers and letting us know.
My guess is they don't vet every single seller or cross-reference images.
Guys I think of Amazon as a Flea Market - anyone can sell just about anything there.
Thank you for sharing. There are more scams popping up regularly. Just shameful. Everyone stay safe, happy and healthy.
Hey! Yeah it is a lot lately. I was really bummed about this one. I was really excited about the home being an option for people!
Thanks for your investigation and sharing the results! Shame on Amazon!!
Thanks for the information. Yes it is past time for standards!!

Hey! Yeah their homes are really beautiful and modern.
They are a wonderfully ethical company. Why is Amazon hosting Nomadnest? Good job outing them.
What was you experience with Incredible Tiny Homes like? Did you put your house on one of their properties?
Good imformatiom for the tiny house consumers outside there, Mic! 😉👍

If I can't visit the company IN PERSON and I am unable to make subsequent visits during the build I am not buying.
