      Hi! Thanks for watching. There are several great builders out there, my favorite one is Coastal Tiny Homes, but 100% you have to do your research before giving anyone your money.

      That’s absolutely correct. I have always liked Tumbleweed. Also, before I forget. Randy Jones had a luxury development many years ago that went bankrupt. Maybe it wasn’t his fault, maybe it was. If he did it once, strong possibility it could happen again. Maybe you could research that. I believe he even mentioned it on one of his RUclips videos many years ago. Thanks again for the great content.

      @Swim136 , I never "heard" anything. I READ his quotes in an article about his failed past where he lost everything & started over. Kudo's to him for that. However, it appears quite possibly that whatever got him into trouble in the past is likely happening again. My opinion based on my research which is my right in my country.

    You can definitely put Incredible Tiny Homes on that list. Many people still don't have their homes or the lots in the community they paid for over 4 years ago on land that they never got approval for from the Newport planning commision. They are also operating with no current business license. Don't get me started on the poor quality of the builds. I can see daylight where my roof meets the walls because it was not properly attached and it was not sealed.

      See I almost drank the kool-aid back in the spring but so much wasn’t looking right and when I heard people been waiting for 4 years with them giving their life savings I choice not to even pull the trigger! The legality of the “key money “ was a large concern for me being that you wouldn’t own the land and still paying a monthly rent and that you can be kicked out if he doesn’t like you after you have paid thousands of dollars for just to hold your spot!

      @@MicThinksTinywould you please share what you find out about Incredible Tiny Homes? I’m planning a visit there next month.
      The company has been around for some time and so not sure how that’s possible if they don’t have a business license.
      Also the comment about the lots and paying a monthly fee is a common practice for a tiny home community. So that seems legit to me.

      @@MicThinksTiny I wish I knew, but I definitely think they are flying below the radar because they are also accepting large donations excuse me deposits and even having people invest into their company.
      I had initially signed up on their waitlist back in 2020 but decided to just drop it because there was no movement at all. And the only tours you’ll ever see are the ones given by them and never by anybody who actually owns one.

She said there were many problems in this house cheap building material, leaks etc. When she talked to Randy he was RUDE N NOT CARING. You don't see this in his Videos. Many employees have left as Randy always says money was low so would have to wait for pay check. But Randy did have money to cont building. The lots need Alot of landscaping

    In the past I've seen photos of tiny homes on builders' websites that show examples of their particular designs. In 2 incidents I recognized that two of the photos were copied from legitimate builders' websites, so I contacted the real builders to let them know that I had seen their project photos on another builder's website and assumed that their photos were being misused. In each case I was thanked for informing them of the stolen images, and I assumed they dealt with the fake builders. So, yes, buyers beware.

    • @MicThinksTiny
      @MicThinksTiny  3 месяца назад +2

      Hello! Yeah, companies using other companies photos is a real issue. It's great you were able to identify the fake photos and let the original builder know. It's a shame people are doing this but it's not surprising. The industry is becoming so popular people just think they can get away with anything. Do you live in a tiny house now?

    Good information, thank you! I toured and considered Anchored in 2020 and glad I didn't choose them, however, I was scammed along with other customers by a different California builder who took the same path of filing bankruptcy which has been going on for over 2 years in litigation...many people lost a lot of money. This tiny home company was vetted by a bank that provided tiny home loans and I also had a contract so I thought I was pretty "safe". Nope.

      I own an incredible tiny home. I have for almost 8 years. I did a build your own workshop with them in January of 2017. I have an 8 x 24 foot tiny home. It is everything I wanted from the experience of going tiny. It affords me a safe, comfortable, beautiful home. It was on their website and RUclips channel for a long time, but it's almost 8 years ago. My house was house number 45 for the company again 8 years ago. I've probably dropped very far down if it's even still on the RUclips channel because they don't offer this model anymore. I have not kept up with the company. As far as watching videos and everything. But I have friends that live in the community, and they have like 200 people living there. There's always gonna be someone who's unhappy. I can't speak to the business practices that are currently going on. But I know that he's provided homes for many people and has many satisfied customers. I do not regret my decision to go tiny at all. And I wish they still made custom homes. Because I would like them to build me a 10 / 26 foot house. I'm told you have to go with one of their predesign models with no modification. I'm not interested in that because I want a bathtub, and they all have like showers. Feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions for me or would like to see my home in videos or pictures

If you can’t stand in your WORD then you are unintegral delving into dark ways. IF they’re REALLY friends(acquaintance if liars) you’d WARN them what’s coming and help them FINANCIALLY because they will need it. It’s coming soon-be prepared.
