Most people that talk shit that is all they can do is talk. Be more worried about the quiet ones that let their actions talk.
It's so amazing how with just one change of expression, Ray Liotta goes from this harmless, handsome looking dude, to looking absolutely maniacal and frightening. Also with his voice. He had almost like this child like innocence to his regular tone in this movie, and then he had this scary as shit yelling voice.
You know youre a car guy when you see movies set back in the day and you always call out the yr/make/model. And could give a damn about the movie itself.
What tommy would have done if he was in the place of henry
You can just imagine 🤣🤣🤣
Shantanu - probably a broad daylight be heading in front of his 2 friends 🔪😂☠️
Tommy would shoot all three and then take a dump on their corpses.
Oof! It’d be over
The real Tommy would test out new firearms on random people just because he felt like it so there's no telling what he would have done
Tommy would have went pistol whip beast mode on all three of them the way he beat Batts
“As far back as I can remember, I always wanted to pistol whip someone”.
*freeze frame of Ray Loitta bashing in a skull*
Everyone does at some point.
🤣🤣🤣👍❤

Definitely an eye popping out atleast.
And then some feet
To be fair Scorcese did do that in casino

Look, I don't mean to piss on Ray's grave, but what films of significance did he really do other than this? I mean, yes, he's in Fields of Dreams as well, as he does fine as Shoeless Joe. But what else was he in? Turbulence? He's just not DeNiro is all i'm sayin.

Ray simply owns this movie, Pesci is great, De Niro is also awesome, but Ray simply commands the show here. Amazing performance, iconic voiceover.
I mean, Ray plays the protagonist, so...yah--it's written that way
@@mobus1603 Some films the protagonist is clearly overshadowed, specially when there's heavyweghts on supporting role, and my point was, Ray held his own and was the highlight even dealing with iconic performances by Pesci, De Niro, Bracco and Sorvino. performances.
Henry never kills anyone the entire film, just pistol whips a guy like a virtuous badass.
1:35 .... that look on Liotta's face. He almost looks like a different person. Some seriously great acting there.
Kevin Fleming his mom died during this time of acting for the film ..”swear to my mother “ was improvised
He kind of looks like a pissed off Jay Leno for a second
With a little bit of Jack Torrance after he axed Hallorann.

Shame he didn’t get to do more other great movies. I know he did a few other good ones but he was kind of always seen as the tough guy after this.

Fun fact: The actor who plays Henry Hill, Ray Liotta, lost his Mom only a few days before. He channeled his anger and grief from her death into this scene.
Hopefully he didn't actually hurt the actor
Thanks for this tidbit!! Very cool. His acting is authentic.

Never pick a fight with mobsters. They are not worried about a criminal record. Big advantage.
Even other regular people don't give a fuck about no criminal record.
Most people DO care. You can't get a decent job with a criminal record, as most conduct a background check.
leafyutube You can get factory jobs that pay around 15 an hour which isnt bad.
R.I.P Lim Jahey oh well, you lay a hand on a mobster you're dead regardless you kick his ass
They also don't 2 shits about fighting dirty against someone they see as dirty.
They are far more concerned as maintaining an image of a guy that finishes things and is not to be fucked with.
The "Don't shoot" guy gets me every time 😅😂
😅🤣🤣🤣
in a real situation on that particular time, its a serious statement, almost begging not to lose his life in a second!!....
Yup! Same. 😆😂
Yeah, Liotta was a fantastic actor... but kudos to the "don't shoot!" guy, he sounded like the biggest pussi imaginable! That's acting! 😆
Also, fuk RUclips & their bullshit, Nazi censoring!
I love how Thelma used the screech of the car to cut off Karen’s “he got really angry”-then used her remaining dialogue in the next shot without caring if it fit her lips. Then that loooong hold on Ray before he gets out of the car like a total badass. And the subtle slow mo shots when Karen comes out of the house and takes the gun.
Determined advance to battle. I never get bored with this film. RIP Ray Liotta.

In the Goodfellas commentary, Henry Hill says the movie is about 95% correct. During this scene, Henry says everything is accurate accept as soon as he starts beating the guy, his buddies take off running. "I knocked out, I think, 3 or 4 of his teeth. He never told the police who did it, so I dont know what happened after that. All I know, is he never bothered her again."

Those little Smith and Wesson revolvers are made of solid steel and weigh over 20oz loaded. That would most certainly bust the guy's face open quite badly.
That look on his face after beating him. He really dug deep into that character in that moment
He's lucky he didn't mess with Tommys girlfriend, fuck knows what Tommy would have done to him or even three of them!! LOL
