If anything can make this world a better place, it's strong community. We are so fortunate to have a rapidly growing community of like minded people gathering in the Southern Zone of Costa Rica. People from around the world are coming together and joining forces with the amazing people of Costa Rica and the result has been the birth of something very special. One of the hearts of this movement is an organization called Vida Autentica, a Non Profit organization that is forming a strong foundation for this community to grow. Vida Autentica recently started an Organic Farmers market that draws people from far and wide to come together and share their gifts, from fresh grown food to crafts and everything in between. They have also started the "Pueblo Roots Initiative" which is a training program that educates local farmers in Organic Agriculture. EcoOasis was honored to be invited to participate this past weekend in their first annual Seed Festival. It was a beautiful event that showcased farms from around the area and gave us the opportunity to exchange seeds, farm goods and have some good ole fashion fun. Scott Jolly ya, it is super fun to exchange things. There is so much variety in the Tropics so people are always finding amazing little treats you can grow. Anytime I go to visit another farm I get introduced to new stuff and of course everyone loves to share their discoveries. Thanks for watching Scott...and yes we will keep the videos coming(-:

This is great community coming together spreading knowledge about varies plants that are edible r just for unique beauty. I wonder if there any issue may arises with Vida autentica. Some Africa country are sufferings Because GMO are saying that you shouldn't do that. Illegal. Cant share seeds. Will, like great country who think beyond greed said no. Mexico said no to GMO. Great to see that heirloom are still out there and demands for such products out are increasing.
