I live in the country side of Puerto Rico and bananas are planted every where so I decided to plant plantain they also give their fruits around the same time as bananas and also the Pigeon peas but their bean is around Nov. through Jan. but you can dry a few beans and it becomes a seed to plant more Pigeon peas. Great video.

We have around 20 collectors varieties on the farm but our main crop we grow for export is Gros Michel (Musa acuminata). Thanks for watching!!
Looks like a great system. What is your lowest temperature in Costa Rica?
Gardening With Puppies There are many micro climates in Costa Rica. The lowest temperature recorded in Costa Rica is at the top of the Chirripo mountain. This temperature was 17 degrees F. Hard to believe but true. The average temperatures are 65 F(low)-84 F high. I prefer the mountain... to me it is perfect weather all year long. Near the ocean it can get very humid and hot.
I would really like to visit sometime in the future. It sounds wonderful.
