Love Fan Friday !! I live in a small Texas town and I don’t know any other Nightwish fans except a few people I’ve introduced to Nightwish .But the other day in Home Depot I was wearing my Nightwish T-shirt and a guy said hay Im a Nightwish fan ! Instant friends! Of course he Loves you Too ! 👍🤟🤠
I should go out and wear my t-shirts more often too, I guess.. Looking for close-by Nightwish fellow friends, too! Happy you found a new fellow fan/friend!

I am 67 and until last year I had never cried to music. Floor has changed everything for me. Just talking about Floor or Nightwish to my friends makes me get emotional and I have to stop. When I heard Alone I cried like a little child.
@@edwarddoss1006 I totally get you Edward and thanks for sharing your story. Personally, about 10 months ago I heard Floor for the first time - GLS at Wacken 2013 and it changed everything for me. I had never seen such beauty in my life... Back in 2012 I had menengitis and it left me emotionless and burn´t out for so long. I cried for the first time in a decade after hearing Floor. She was the key to unlocking my emotions and allowing me to see beauty in this world again. It´s kind of a big deal because I couldn´t enjoy life, couldn´t sleep at night and was so burn´t out and running on fumes. Now I listen to Floor for hours each day and it has literally turned me into the biggest cry baby but the result of all the emotion through goosebumps or tears has been profound. Despite having ongoing issues related to my brain , I now live life inspired and grateful for everyday. I see so much beauty in life and importantly I´m no longer ´a whore for the cold world`. Sometimes I pinch myself to see if I´m living in a dream. This is real and I will always be grateful for that :)

Finding Floor on Beste Zangers has changed my life. I listen to Floor everyday myself. If I ever feel sad I just play My Walden and it makes me happy. If you need anything just email I will be there. It's interesting how much Emppu & Marco move around on stage in Nightwish videos. Is that by design, or just on impulse? Sometimes it looks like a "oh shit moment", I should be over there. haha.
Tnx for that theory. I am going to pay more attention now. Maybe I'll also spot some 'Oh shit' moments :P xD
For Emppu, I always thought of it as a cat moment... you know, when cats do that thing where they're sitting somewhere and then suddenly decide "I gotta be over there right the heck now!" and run for it so fast that they practically go arse over teakettle when they stop. Especially in Shudder Before the Beautiful at Wembley, when he was over by Tuomas when Floor started the "A very good evening..." bit, and he darted across the stage so fast it looked like he skidded into his low power stance!

Sort of an odd question but here goes - the ending of Ghost Love Score has changed quite a bit from Jukka just bashing his cymbals to Kai totally going off. Who's doing was that? Was it a change that Tuomas wanted to make or was Kai instrumental (no pun intended) in that? Or was it just a natural evolution of things? Whatever it was, I really like the way it ends now - seems more fitting and epic (and it's SO much fun watching you and Emppu!).
Definitely just because drummer changed. It's not like Tuomas has to tell Kai what to do.
Floor's DNA test would be awesome for a special fan friday. I want to do it too.
Hello Floor, did you notice any changes in your voice after you gave birth?
Some other singers have said this about their voices (I can't hear any difference other than your growing in expressing emotions - even more..

@@cey1 well, she wrote a comment, I answered, we began to chat, first here on RUclips, later on Instagram. After like 3 days of chatting we noticed we both live in the same country. We have more or less the same hobbies and stuff like that. We met the first time in real life 3 weeks ago and will meet again on Sunday. It is the most crazy "getting to know someone" story I ever had xD

I'm trilingual (no big deal for a European, but being an American it tends to surprise many people), and I often forget the second language (Spanish) because I so often speak in either English or the third language (Romanian, because my wife is from there).
So, yes it's confusing. I have Hispanic students, and when I try to speak Spanish with them, usually Romanian words come out by accident. Oops.

Just stumbled upon you and night wish, been retired over a year now and perusing you tube. Had no idea the the breadth of what is out there. Had no time while working. Now I have discovered two amazing vocalist. Your range, dynamics, breath control and emotional control are amazing, you have made me cry numerous times. The other is a child who,at age 7 now 15 , who can rip,your heart out and wave bye after the song. Angelina Jordan is her name. So now In retirement when not playing with my grand children I am watching you two.
Very nice, always look forward to what you have to say, and thinking in so many languages never thought about that aspect of it. I bet when you get angry though the Dutch flies out easily, though a few words seem to be universal and understood by all.

The question about your voice changing is similar to what I've noticed. Watching some older videos, to me your voice has become richer and more versatile. Practicing and performing for so many years would surely have this effect. I'm sure you have gained more confidence in your talent and ability as well. Thank you for many hours of enjoyment.

I would LOVE to see you in a movie/series, esspecially Viking-like. At least a protect in 'the old ages' where people rode horses, traveled by old ships and lived in small villages with lots of nature still left (and mythology themes would be a great bonus!)

Floor, I've recently gotten into bands like The Hu, who use throat singing. Since you're always trying new things with your voice would you consider trying to learn throat singing and incorporate it into your music?
I recently watched a reaction to Wolf Totem by the Hu and was thinking the same thing.

NO! Emphatically NO ... how I HATE Cookie Monster throat vocals. What I love about Floor is her clear bell like dulcet vocals. The clarity of her soprano is like angels singing.

Yess!! Just learned, that my most favorite singer is taking part in one of my most favorite TV shows "Sing meinen Song" (the German "Beste Zangers"). And this time I deeply hope that the production company takes AVROTROS (producer of Beste Zangers) as an example how to treat the fan bases right and they will publish the videos on RUclips, too!
Now I just have to find out how I can survive the way to many months until the show will be broadcasted. 😁

question - Your stage presence is undeniable, but I find myself unable to take my eyes off of your eyes whenever the camera is focused on you. One of the things I love to see is the eye pop that you do. I have heard several other people comment about it as well. Is that something you do just instinctively or do you actively do that to add a bit of emotion to a particular part of a song.
My favourite "The Phantom of The Opera" is that version from 2005, sang by Tarja. I still get goosebumps hearing the hardcore vibes and the cheering crowd, at the end. My top favorite version ever! But I am craving for something even more hardcore. Flooor, pleeeaaase, ask the inspiration gods to gift you with a similar version. Hardcore+ metal+ phantom of the opera= 😍😍😍😍
Ghost Love Score video from Wacken, from a exactly 9th minute of the video is something most powerful I have ever seen from some singer.
