We thought that we were done with winter as well. However, we are under a snow warning right now. Of course, Calgary, Alberta gets this type of weather in the spring. . . . oh joy.

Yes they have been showing his picture and stuff on the local Bristol VA news channel about him I hope his phone has just torn up and he is ok but it's not looking good I really love his hoboing videos of all his travels .

Safety first
When I heard Texas, I said out loud "Take me with you". Loud enough the wife heard me, got some explaining to do.
Just when you think it is spring winter, come back. When I was driving truck we had loaded a load of sand, and when I pulled on the scales, i was a few pounds over, and it was snowing heavily, so i just went with it. We got on 44 headed east there was about four inches of snow on the road no ice under it so with the load that on we was doing about forty and the other guy I was running with past a woman in a Cadillac then I pasted her to. Will I guess she thought if we could run that fast, she could do it. So she got behind me. We didn't go a quarter mile, and I saw her going all over the road. She came to a stop setting on top of the median that was still grass back then. Her front wheels were in the west bound lane and back in the east bound side.

I hit that mess in Madison Tuesday Evening… was horrible all the way to Tomah. But it got really dicey from LaCrosse to Rochester, high winds and icey roads, made me a little uneasy especially running empty 😂

I did flatbed trucking for a year that did dedicated account which never required any tarp jobs. I hate the idea of doing any tarps is why I do dry van for living now.

The wind has been blowing hard in Northeast Tennessee and it’s supposed to blow hard Friday too and spitting snow and sleet and then changing to rain. Nothing laying unless you get into Southwest Virginia.
