Hello ! I'm the guy who you let give a treat to Bailey. It's a treat for me !
I appreciate all the kind comments I have read. I try to be cheerful and welcoming to ALL the drivers. Such a nice group of hard working people. Hope to see you, and my little pal Bailey, again !
To all the drivers, I've always got treats for your dog. If I don't see your dog, please let me know. Makes my day !
-Bill
I appreciate your professionalism checking me in. It makes my day so much more enjoyable.
Bailey really enjoyed the treat
Thank You
Bill, I would also like to thank you for your professionalism and kindness. It is rare that we as drivers experience a good attitude. Please keep up the good work!
The guy at the place you loaded the tubing was a really nice guy .It sure would be nice if all the places drivers go to the people would be as pleasant as he was. It sure would be a better world it everyone acted that exact way
I was thinking the same thing Glinda, that guy was nice, Humble People like him just makes for a nice visit.🤠👍
The guy at the load out was a class act, he respected you. He deserves a note of some sort from you Dan. That bridge was SKINNY. You and Bailey be well and safe drives.
What a helpful guy at the receiver, it doesn’t take much to be polite , professional and make the job so much easier.
One thing that kept my faith in humanity... nice people at shippers and receivers. A VERY rare creature and much appreciated.
It was so very refreshing to hear the friendly verbal exchange with the gate agent, Dan and Bailey. It costs nothing to be pleasant and nice. Our world would be so much better if we all took a moment and deep breath to be kind to one another. Stay safe Dan…and Bailey.
Bob
All the people in the world might give you advice but you are correct that this is YOUR TRUCK, Your LOAD & YOUR RESPONSIBILITY. Excellent work ethic, with great attitude and pre planning + great videos every time! Thanks for sharing.
After a recent road trip to North Carolina and back to Michigan I can only say THANK-YOU to all the truck drivers out there for everything you do.
Hello from Brisbane Australia. I really like your videos. Awesome truck. Keep safe Dan and Bailey.
I've been across both of those bridges many times pulling a fifth wheel RV and remember one instance when my right truck's rear dual tire scuffed the curb and it pulled my front end to the right unexpectedly. I didn't hit anyting but it sure got my attention! BTW, I'm the guy that said hello to you at APU Center in Strafford, Missouri.
My friend and I drove over that bridge when her alternator quit. Before I could stop her, she turned off the engine. That was fun!
Dan, you think that bridge is skinny. the old Mississippi River Bridge at Jackson I have had to pull my mirror in if I met a truck. that was a long time ago. you bring back a lot of old memories, thanks
The wise man who has skin in the game double checks the work of everyone involved. Especially in these hard times when there is a lot weighing on people's minds causing them to be distracted from their work as well as companies that are having trouble hiring enough workers putting more load on the workers they do have.
We're seeing this in the dropping of the quality of a lot of work.
A big thumbs up to that guy at your pick-up! 👍
Dan you are such a respectful professional hard working trucker. I admire your work ethic. My brother was a trucker now retired. I have watched the majority of your videos and am always amazed how talented you are when it comes to repairing things. It is a gift. Safe travels.
You've turned the golf saying around Dan. With you, it's putt for show, drive for dough!!! lol
I used to go with my dad in the truck every summer. We went over those bridges numerous times to go around the Missouri Chicken House. I was always worried we were going to collide with another truck.
Dan's a super putter too! Stay safe and thanks for the content.
Thanks Dan and Bailey for the video take care of yourself and be blessed.
I hate those tight narrow bridges...even Bailey was a little nervous. Keep up the good work, and stay safe out there. 😎👍
You have to Love the Sound of a Peterbilt. NO Other truck sounds even remotely close to a Peterbilt. Keep it Safe and keep taking Great Care of Sweet Bailey. 👍🙏
😂😂😂
At least you are consistent with your golf game.
I crossed a bridge near Joplin that was so tight we had to pull our mirrors in. Great video Dan.
I went over that 2nd bridge at night when I was new. Pretty sure I held my breath the whole way.
Tightest bridge ever? Old Rte. 22 bridge from Ohio into Weirton, WV.
Good to see you again Dan, Glad your still around, keep up the work 👍
All you needed golfer Dan was a checkerd shirt to match those fancy shoes don't quit your day job
That truck sounds so good
I worked for Frito Lay years ago and we ran across that bridge and it was rough and narrow then. That's been probably 20 years ago. I guess it hasn't changed with the time's. Take good care of Bailey and have safe travels.
Like George Carlin used to say. There is no such thing as a hot water heater. Hot water does not need heating. It's a water heater.
That Bailey is a trip. I don,t blame her for getting nervous going over that bridge i did too and i wasn,t in the truck! Stay safe and may the road be kind to you.
Lucked out in that last bridge, made er across without any approaching traffic
The Mississippi bridge was closed for truck traffic a few years ago cause a barge hit it .If you had passed that grain wagon in that curve you’d have probably lost your mirror,it’s very tight. Keep pounding the ground Dan and enjoy every minute cause before you know it will be over. I started in77 and seems like a couple months.
Yeah, had my mirror smacked a time or two going across them
It was fun watching you putting Dan, you may not be quite ready for the PGA, better work on that some more. Thanks for the videos, safe travels!
Lambert’s Restaurant is in Sikeston, MO, Home of the Throwed Rolls. They literally Throw a Roll to you from a Distance. 😬👍 Another location outside Springfield, MO.
There used to be a 2-way tunnel under the Thames in London where you had to pull in the driver's mirror or you'd lose it.
i don't think tiger woods has anything to worry about Dan-lolol BUT of course he couldn't drive a tractor trailer and now that i think about it he can't drive a suv very well either-lol. be safe brother!
Dan, thanks for the video. I have been across those bridges several times over the years. Even in a 4 wheeler they are narrow. Safe travels and have a great day.
That is a tight squeeze
BAILY LOOKING 👀 OUT FOR DAD OMGOSH HOW SWEET ❤️🐾🐾🐾🐾
Thank You for Sharing this Video. It’s been years since I’ve made those Bridges like that. Enjoyed !! H.
Great to see you guys
Dan, your on a putting green not a driving range!🤠🤣👍
You should put a putting green at your house that would be cool
Great video Dan, you seemed much more relaxed than some of your recent video's
When those bridges are packed with plowed snow it gets even skinnier, really white knuckle drive across.
Daniel, “BE THE BALL,” See the BALL…. BE THE BALL…
NANNA, NANNA, dadadda, dadadda, LMAO
Caddy Shack….
Love your shoe choices! Cool
I play golf about once a month I'm not very good either but it's fun chasing the ball. You too stay safe out there I'll see you on the next one.
The guard a Nucor is a true gentleman I’ll never load there again due to the time I waited to get loaded haha but again the Gaurd is the highlight of that place!
Great Video as usual Daniel. The Confluence of the Mississippi and Ohio rivers is a very neat place to visit. The Mississippi is muddy and the Ohio is green and you can actually see the line in the water where the Ohio disappears. The park is called Fort Defiance known as Camp Defiance in the civil war. It has a platform to look out over the water. Next time you should stop. Very interesting place.
Seems like none of those kinds of tourists sights allow semi trucks.
I love hearing Bailey and bark
You crossed the Ohio River then crossed the Mississippi River. It was the junction of both river coming together.
Thanks Dan. I don’t like narrow bridges either. Take care.
Lucky dog days
Nice to see Bailey talking more. She is so cool and she got a treat. The gate person sounded like he was having a good day and was paying it forward.
Stay safe. About your lode it was To Be or not To Be. LOL.
DAN FANTASTIC VIDEOS GREAT PEOPLE !! BEAUTIFUL AREA !! POOCH ❤️🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾
Thanks 4 🎬 📽 🎞 Dan.
That bridge is crazy. I didn't like going over it in a car. I used to go out there to Sikeston and Morehouse a few times a year for work, it must be crazy in a 18 wheeler.
Mr Dan . 🏌️ Isn't your specialty but being a 🚛 you're a pro. Bailey heard her name and she knew something good was about to happen. Hey to the Mrs. SAFE TRAVELS sir and Bailey 🚛💨💨💨💨
Great job driving across those narrow bridges.
If u look into needle bearing bushing by Horton it make the front end super smooth ride I’ve put them in a few 379 Pete’s make sure u buy the installation tool
I never knew they had air powered windows. Then again, I'm not a truck driver. Lol
The window sounds like doors opening and closing on Star Trek😂
Dan, angtime your in Sikeston, stop and eat at Lambert's cafe, home of the throwed rolls.
It is pretty around Cairo unless the rivers are up...lots of acres of farmland goes under when the Missouri and Ohio River goes nuts. And yes, that old bridge is bumpy!
I crossed that bridge from Missouri into Kentucky, to pick up at Westvaco Paper in Wickliffe, many times in the early 80s, and was always concerned that my mirrors might hit the mirrors of a tractor going the other direction!
You ok Dan? Haven't heard from you in awhile.
Thanks for another good one Dan
Brilliant thanks Dan
Stay safe on the highway 🌵🇬🇧👍
Cool video Dan 🤙
Diggin the vans brother
nice driving sir! love Mercer has a putting green
That is first time I have seen air opening windows in a truck I had a mack with a air starter and windshield wipers that worked on air great video and keep up the good work God bless from GA stay safe
I love taking that scenic route into MO and run that a lot, but yeah that bridge over the Mississippi is tight. Looks like you caught it on a good day. Ive passed probably 8 trucks at once on that bridge once and that was not fun lol. We all made it out with our mirrors tho! Be safe and maybe one day I'll see you drive by!
Good morning!
Thanks Dan
Better keep your day job as driver. You will strave as a pro golfer. LOL Used to love crossing the Mississippi at Vicksburg, That bridge was a mirror eater
I think that second bridge you crossed was shut down for years because someone did go through the bridge, don't think all the way. That was years and years ago. Went over those bridges a few time as a kid in the 80's when we use to go to Sikeston from Ft. Campbell.
8:32 come on dad, i'm taking you for a walk...🤣
Very good 👍
Personally I never cared for air windows, much prefer the old crank style myself
more level 👍🏻👍🏻
Hey Bailey And Dan ..Why is You tube Taking SUBSCRIBERS from your neat Channel....We now have to SUBSCRIBERS and like on each view.....(WE DIDN'T WANT YOU TWO TO FEEL BAD ,,WE LOVE YOU AND BAILEY CHANNEL..WONDERFUL JOB.)!!!❤❤❤❤❤😢😢😢😢😢
Long time me no see! I’ve been away a minute so I’m trying to get caught up! Excellent video Dan ! Stay Safe Buddy! Mike from Cleveland Ohio!
Great video Dan,,,, hey,, slow that putter down some ,,, ease that golf ball some it won’t race around the hole as bad!! 😂Stay safe buddy
Dan, On that bridge there.. I would be barking too lol
It's OK Daniel, we don't need Golfers...
I have been across that Mississippi River bridge on my H.D. before, it is narrow, wouldn't want to drive a big truck across it. There used to be a lot of bridges like that.
That Bailey made me smile. Keep trying to see the gate guy, both affectively too short?
Well when Theresia see's this video she is going to finally realize all those times Dan took her to play mini golf on date night that Dan really wasn't letting her beat him all those times when they went like she thought he was...
Well good to see you found you little air leak problem, sometimes you just have to take a little bit if a challenge head on and jump in, there are a lot of people that don't want to mess with anything but little repairs like that are not that complicated and to get them done are so frigging expensive, if people only saw how easy they are and how much they could save
I get not everyone has the time or tools, but man the money some people could keep in their own pocket and these days every dollar you can hang on to is critical
The place I pick up panels they let you throw straps and edge protectors but they watch you tighten up. Too tight and you will damage the edge where the panels are married together
You shift so smoothly. Consider filming your right hand and feet shifting sometime.
My pup.
Good to see Mercer have got you in training for retirement Dan?? (golf)
hey mr. dan just saw a mercer truck downtown at a local gas station in waddington ny on the st lawrence river almost in canada never thought i would see it up here maybe going to alcoa in massena also say the spitting image of your truck at a garage in canton ny the other day
Hey Dan how have you been doing lately rate wise just wondering ....... I run out of the Northeast and rates and competition have been pretty fierce lately...... And hell last time I was in Arizona there is very slim pickings and the only load I could find was from Phoenix to Texas for a dollar a mile....
You haven’t posted in a while. Hope all is well?
Dan when you get your hot water heater can you do a video on installing and the plumbing of the system?
You are in my neck of the woods and yes that bridge is skinny I have lost my mirror more than once and that bridge is old as dirt
