The fact you actually went through with the underwater crawl shows me how much dedication you have for exploration and I respect that guys. I know you two probably will enjoy that memory forever. Congrats on reaching the back of the cave!
Many decades ago I was there in Petty Johns cave with about 9 others. We all made it to the first water fall. And we took a stop there and within minutes the fog (water vapor) off our bodies made it near unable to see anything. That was when I had the stamina and strength to explore caves. Those days are well behind me now. But I like watching the videos... I have to say, you guys are animals to go that far in the cave. Bravo for your adventure and posting the video here!
You guys are the real deal. No flashy, sexy editing and music. Just a camera and a willingness to risk it and be bold. Also, video quality looks great, definitely noticable. Improved lighting as well. Great stuff as usual guys.
That was an epic squeeze at the end. Definition of explorers. Risking life and limb to see what many have not seen and be where not many have been. You guys rock!
I do the same but in the back porch and watch them but why they decided to go in so late in the afternoon and knowing is going to rain. Why they don’t get water samples and from the fossils for research? I could tell the top part is muddy too and that can collapse.
The fish fossil on the ceiling. The ancient coral reef. Millions of years. Layers of sedimentary rock building up over the eons. Amazing views none of us would have ever seen without you guys. What time it took those crystals to form on the wall. Think about how that's just a few ticks of a clock in deep time. You guys are amazing at what you do
Congrats to the final destination of John Petty's cave. Just watching the mud squeeze literally made me feel of the limited breathing. The picture quality is good.
Petty John’s is, by far, the coolest and most challenging cave I’ve ever been in. I’ve never gone more than an hour in. Watching these young men push forward is awesome!
It's bautiful to see so ancient structures and organisms so well presented and presserved on this place, after the part were you arrived on pt1 this feels like a full underworld.
You boys are brave. There is _no way_ you'd get me through that under water part and then that mud squeeze after it. No. Way. In. Hell. And then you have to go back through it to get out? No. I'm perfectly content watching someone else do it from the comfort of my bedroom.
@dejuren Oh man. Fleshlight gets autocorrected to flashlight unless you have typed Fleshlight before for some reason. I had to force my keyboard to keep Fleshlight as the spelling I wanted instead of flashlight. So, you must have typed Fleshlight before at some point before making this comment. Was it to search for them? Just kidding. To answer your question, I just wouldn't put myself in that situation to begin with. These guys are awesome and I admire what they do but it isn't for me.
no clue how you figure out which way to go and keep confident that you’re right. high anxiety doesn’t even touch description of what you’re doing. incredible
The crowd demands more. More than an ass being dragged simultaneously across a ceiling and floor. We are coming back for pettyjohns cave. We have been given new hope!!!
Those are Rugose corals..Its a death assemblage..Sometimes caused by storms, that cover the soft-bodied animals with mud, or collapse of a shelf....that Limestone is Mid Devonian in age 390 myo..it was a tropical reef system during that time..The mineralized crystals are calcite..
Jules Verne can't hold a candle to the level of exploration that you guys have documented in your incredible videos! You have taken us into secret galleries beneath the surface that we could never have seen otherwise! Your videos are adventures within themselves and there are not enough complimentary words to express for what you have shared with us! From the deepest part of my heart, I thank you for these supreme ultimate journeys into our planet's hidden, ancient passages! STAY SAFE... and from this armchair 'caver,' please keep the awesome stuff coming! You guys deserve every award that RUclips can bestow upon you! Your channel is one of my top favorites!!!
There's HIGH anxiety then there is this.....HIGHER anxiety. man alive you guys are fearless. i had a hard time watching this on my sofa. Great vid once again.
Oh my goodness how deep it goes. I don't know how you guys are so brave to just go in deeper and deeper and not feel anxieties like what about if you get stuck. Thank you for sharing your videos and your experience with us.
The 16 minute mark is absolutely terrifying. These guys are nuts! But I'm hooked. Nothing beats getting your heart racing while sitting at my work desk.
Fair play lads you rock. Your level of fitness must be insane. The level of trust you have in one another deserves some respect. Thanks for the upload.
I have watched all manner of people doing extreme things, but I have to say... I don't think anything is more extreme than true spelunking....I mean this is delving into the earth... You spelunkers have my most highest respect.. Just amazing video
Ive done super dangerous stuff. Tank wheelies and high speed chases on the freeway. So i understand adrenaline is a drug. You guys just get your fix in tunnels. Stay within your limits.
Bro I was navigating that cave 15 yrs ago, been there a dozen times. Love that place! Havnt seen it since your video. Awesome! I swam in after some heavy rain. Stay safe! I’ll be back!
Corals, crystals, and fish skeletons, oh my! So much cool stuff back there. And I have to imagine one’s back ends up with like road rash after scraping against a stone ceiling that long.
"It's raining we get out there at the good time" I hope you are joking and more prepared than that, water can come from 100 miles away where it's raining since hours and drown you in this cave in minutes with blue sky outside.
Man, I would be so afraid to make it through all that, then to have the water rise to the ceiling in parts on your way back. That fossil bed looks awesome!
You could tell no one has been back there in awhile because the mud was undisturbed. Wish I was younger so I could do things like this again. I would be grunting and oof'ing the entire way with every joint in my body sounding like rice krispies. I gotta give mad props to you guys.
You guys have gigantic balls to crawl through that tight wedge for so long without having a full blown panic attack. I was getting anxiety just watching you.
Yall had me in High Anxiety through this entire video wow are you two brave, Great Adventure to watch but I was a nervous wreck for yall Stay safe Be careful and Thanks for sharing 👍🏼
I'm more anxious...;) I just love you guys. I just can't with those inch high squeezes you guys go thru...Yep. Vid is top quality. Rocks are rippled and shining. Just beautiful inside. I love that you show me those fossils. Bring me some of those. I'll buy em. These "crawls" about do me in. I can't imagine you guys...I think we should see some baby pics of our adventure twins? ;)
Ohh my anxiety watching you guys while doing laundry what a rush lol great job great video and the new go pro is amazing looking forward to the next video!!
I suggest using a gas detector so that you can find out the levels of oxygen and toxic gases at any time, usually the gas detector will sound if there is a dangerous gas near you
Not just fallen boulders but look at how fractured the overhead is in some places. I. Would be afraid to touch anything or even raise my voice to invite another boulder dropping on my head. Very dangerous. At my age, I only explore caves after they have installed the exit sign on the nearby interstate, a paved visitor parking lot, ticket booth, elevator, sidewalks with railings IN the cave, not just outside and electric light service with a backup generator. A snack bar and gift shop are a nice touch as well. Love watching wild cave adventurers though, while chewing my nails for their safety.
Literally that looks terrifying, I get claustrophobic panic attacks just watching you boys. There's no chance I could be down there, I know face your fears and all that but,, that's nuts. Take care boys, love the content but would hate to hear you getting into trouble down there! Peace ✌
The fact that they can do this and not be like lets turn around is crazy i am claustrophobic so the fact they don't get stuck and trust me i am scard waching this so keep up the good work.😨👍
Guys y’all really need to be a bit more careful! I love the channel and the dedication but playing it safe is way more important than views and the channel! You never go into a cave with water passages like that if rain is forecasted! This simple risk has sadly killed many a caver who thought they would be fine and had that water come up just a tiny bit there is a very good chance y’all could have easily been stuck or worse! You should also always have 3 members to any caving party where your doing crawls and things like that. The reason being that if one of y’all get stuck one person can go get help while the third stays to help keep the stuck caver calm and help to try and get them unstuck! Please keep up the exploring and I know myself, as well as tons of others, really appreciate the content but we would much rather y’all be safe than to have a video! Be smart and think thin!!! Lol
Your videos are captivating and beautifully made without being too crafted and cinematic. Feels like we’re in there with you guys. All the tension for us viewers without any of the risk. How deep underground were you in the cave?
So awesome. Love all your guys vids. Also just wondering if you ever plan on going to the fantastic pit? I saw one of your videos where you walk past it but no one has any vids going down into it. Thanks!!!
The fact you actually went through with the underwater crawl shows me how much dedication you have for exploration and I respect that guys. I know you two probably will enjoy that memory forever. Congrats on reaching the back of the cave!
looks like you don't know the difference between dedication and stupidity.
This is so interesting! They make it so I dont have to go and do that myself! 😂

Getting my arm stuck in my bed frame makes me cry. This is the thing of dreams and nightmares.
relatable

Nothing better than sitting on the couch while watching these guys go into a creepy cave
Hell yeah!
Got that right….having anxiety just watching lol
In your dry, warm, and comfortable home…
Don't like it cave inside enter seems the end all

That was a REAL send congrats! Just remember even the best can send it too far. Know your limits, and keep the survivable content coming!!

I would assume to do this type of stuff you have to be a fairly confident person to start with.
well they do have a lot of experience and a map
@@joeyjoe003 yeah i know they have a map but still
18:09 “the water’s just coming out of the ground?” “yeah” “well then” great unintended pun
This is the Petty John Cave video that should have 40M views! Amazing work!
The crowd demands more. More than an ass being dragged simultaneously across a ceiling and floor. We are coming back for pettyjohns cave. We have been given new hope!!!
Turning out all the lights and watching these is even better 😁 Great job of pushing the limits guys!!!
Lol I do that too. It's immersive
Just took my son an a friend to the Echo Room and still beat up from that trip. Can't imagine crawling to the back end of that thing! Well done.
Throughout the video I had to assure myself that since they uploaded this video they are not dead! Respect.

we are inspired by the people before us!
This is my favorite extreme sport now, I watch these guys every weekend from the comfort of my bed lol
There's HIGH anxiety then there is this.....HIGHER anxiety. man alive you guys are fearless. i had a hard time watching this on my sofa. Great vid once again.
Wow! Thank goodness you got out before the rains really moved that water. Stay safe. Great footage. The lights are awesome!
Oh my goodness how deep it goes. I don't know how you guys are so brave to just go in deeper and deeper and not feel anxieties like what about if you get stuck. Thank you for sharing your videos and your experience with us.
Wow 👌 that mud squeeze had me on edge yo. 😳 I almost had to stop watching but couldn't . Great job guys
Going to the 2nd sump with a forecast of rain is nuts. Amazing video as always
Im so glad you guys put these videos out. As a person who will never, ever, have the guts for this, thank you.
The 16 minute mark is absolutely terrifying. These guys are nuts! But I'm hooked. Nothing beats getting your heart racing while sitting at my work desk.
Jesus, indeed. My question is: how in the hell can you go back in that situation?
"This looks bad." *Proceeds to crawl into it any way lol
Really impressed with your dedication. Really terrified you'll get stuck. Be safe, can't wait for the next upload!

Thanks for showing the final exit. It brings closure to us with claustrophobia. Some channels don't show the final exit 😫.
Let me just say… hell to the no.
Props to you guys, definitely. Was on the edge of my seat the whole time. So glad you got out okay!
Ive done super dangerous stuff. Tank wheelies and high speed chases on the freeway. So i understand adrenaline is a drug. You guys just get your fix in tunnels. Stay within your limits.
I wouldn't even consider crawling the space underneath my bed, which has way more room in comparison to what these guys have to crawl through!
Bro I was navigating that cave 15 yrs ago, been there a dozen times.
Love that place! Havnt seen it since your video. Awesome! I swam in after some heavy rain. Stay safe! I’ll be back!
i get anxiety just watching you guys crawl around under the low long roof of the cave 😰😰
the fact yall went there when it was going to rain shows how brave yall are, I could NEVER.
amazing run you guys, the end was terrifying but it was neat to see just enough room to hang out in the back.
Corals, crystals, and fish skeletons, oh my! So much cool stuff back there.
And I have to imagine one’s back ends up with like road rash after scraping against a stone ceiling that long.
It's mostly the sand that gets in the knee pads that causes the most trouble, the knees are always coming out extremely tenderized!

I have to say the GP11 did make a difference especially with the lights. Could see a lot more fine detail that older vids are lacking. Sweet!!
This had me going so bad, hard to even watch but also amazing. Those fossils are wild.
